  1. I said anything is possible, and it is. If an extremely wealthy Russian business man, who happened to love Speedway and lived in leafy Cheshire, wanted to sponsor his business through Belle Vue and bring A Laguta to the club. It is possible, it's 99.9999% probable that it won't happen. but it could.
  2. Get a sponsor with big pockets, then anything is possible.
  3. Zagar was, not now though as he's past his best and the current owners run the club on a budget which they don't break.
  4. Max Fricke B Zmarzlik A Laguta M Janowski L Madsen T Woffinden T Brennan. Does this fit.
  5. Are there any confirmed signing for Belle Vue yet.
  6. So we just roll over and die, it's time Speedway stood up for it's self, when people buy homes nears our stadiums. The law is there for everyone not just those with money and just now discrimination is high on the list.
  7. If people complain about the noise which is normally about 2 hours, it should be pointed out to the council that Swindon football club and many more football clubs have grounds in housing areas. If the license is refused on the grounds of noise pollution, surely Swindon Robins have a case against the council for prejudice against our sport.
  8. Batch is a big risk, we all know what he can do, but we also know what he did do last season.
  9. Doyle has never let British speedway down, Covid, Swindon not in the league last season and injuries are the only exceptions. I welcome him back to our shores and can't wait to see him round the NSS again, albeit as an away rider.
  10. Woffy has a British wife, It's all about money, and who can blame them. If I could of got 6x more by doing the same job in Poland, it would of been bye bye Britain.
  11. He might change his mind if the pay packets don't arrive in Sweden.
  12. All to do with logistics, Belle Vue Sheffield, closer for fans to travel = larger crowds. Same with Wolves and P/Bora. Very unfair on Wolves or P/Bora, depending on who of the 2 finish top, as the choice has been taken away from them. Still think Wolves have enough in reserve to beat P/Bora over the 2 legs, then finish the campaign as champs by beating the winner of the other semi. Hope I am wrong as on paper Belle Vue look the strongest through my rose tintered glasses.

  14. I read it somewhere on Belle vue's facebook page before last season's Covid problems. As for Max and Jamon, they are both in Poland's top league and only had 1 other league to ride in, they choose Sweden. Can't say I blame them.
  15. yep, we have a touring Caravan and found a lovely little site at Wisbech St Mary's. Only went into Wisbech to shop at Tesco though.
  16. really, Belle Vue run on a tight budget, BK owned up to accepting less money than other clubs were offering him, because he wanted to ride the NSS as his home track.
  17. I was there, Grandstand looked fuller due to Covid restrictions, great meeting. I was on holiday in Wisbech so not far to go, but the Belle Vue fans traveling home would surely of had a good journey home.
  18. I know it's hard, but if everyone ignored GAH posts, he would get bored and stop making a fool of himself.
  19. I doubt it, but they were still excellent speedway tracks, as is Kings Lynn. PS so was Hyde Rd, and was most speedway fans favorite track.
  20. Monday evening 31/05/21, does it ring a bell.
  21. Hyde Road, even with the sharing of Stock cars or are you referring to after Hyde Road closed, and lets not forget Coventry, Bradford,Sheffield.
