Look at the past when we had riders who should of done better but didn't Karlsson, Harris, Schonicki, Zorro even Anderson, was their heart in it, I have my doubts they just used us and I for one don.t wish to go down that road again. Lets stick with our own young assets as the improvement is in all of them (I know Cockie/Fricke are not assets) yet.

I firmly believe that we should only track riders who want to ride for Belle Vue, with that in mind lets forget Watt or J K. R Worrell is our asset and one I believe will have a better year than last season, Cookie still has some improvement in him and finding someone with the same average as him who rides Kirky Lane as good as him will be a difficult ask. Fricke is a must for me. We also need to remember that cost comes into all this so the less money we spend on overseas riders (air fares ect) the more we save going into our new Stadium. So for me climbing up the league with the 4 already signed plus these 3 will mainly depend on Matej riding like he did in his first season at B Vue, Scotty maintaining his current average the 3 mentioned showing the improvement that is in them. Our reserves should easily better the reserves from last season. Will we win the league........NO. Will we reach the P/Offs...... Possible Will we be wooden spoon contenders again... hope not as we don't want to go into our new stadium with that tag. Name a better one

Great to have Matej back, solid start to team building with the 4 already signed

Wellcome back "Scotty.

Granted, this team won't win the league, it may not finish in the P/O,s but 5 of the riders are still young and have improvement in them and I want them to improve with B Vue and not some other team.

Not if Mark Lemon gets his way . I believe he has promised Holder that the hose pipes will be left alone
-
Only time will tell if that's true or not, personally I fear (although I stand to be corrected) that our promoters may be a tad difficult to work for as a Manager.

Its what opposing fans do, get over it.

You really don't like sensible reply's do you. Your prime star rider gets caught and you don't like other fans understandably discussing it. I think it's time you turned your PC off

I could say the same to you, however as I don't want to be yet another forum member you seem intent on Arguing with I won't.

Darcy ward is a fool to himself, his talent on a speedway bike is unquestionable, however he needs to learn when 2nd is good enough and take his speedway responsibility's more like a professional. If he could be as professional as G Hancock is then the sky's the limit with his talent, sadly I doubt he will.

A Cunning Plan To Get Speedway On The Bbc
hyderd replied to Rob Lee's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
We already have one of those. -
Which is why I don't think B Vue will/should enter into a bidding war for his services
-
Craig is committed to people who show commitment to him, he is though an Edinburgh asset and if he moves up then B Vue IMHO would not enter a bidding war for Craig's services.

Found this on you tube. The video for 'Charge', the fourth single taken from the critically acclaimed 'The Take Off and Landing of Everything', is now online. The video for the track, which features Manchester's The Hallé Orchestra, continues the theme of connecting with the band's hometown, Manchester. Once again collaborating with The Soup Collective, the promo for 'Charge' tells the story of the Belle Vue Aces, the famous speedway team that first raced in Manchester in 1928. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nghmOMdL4fM.

it's been a long wait and now for the fans who had faith now have reality.

I'm gonna stick my neck on the block on this one Rod and say, "not a chance" they have gone so far with the new stadium that now planning permission has been granted, the prefered contractors in place, so surely a super purposely built speedway track has to be in the top league. Notice I didn't say elite!

Belle Vue V Coventry & Kings Lynn 22/9
hyderd replied to Rob B's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well after the match fixing last season (you all know what I'm talking about) I hope Belle Vue have some dodgy engine failures resulting in the match being won by Lynn who take a big 4 points and top the league. -
Belle Vue V Coventry 1st September, 2014
hyderd replied to Aces51's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
what hurts most for me is J Garity born and bread in Manchester and if our promoters had somehow managed to keep hold of him those 12 points would of been ours, plus Coventry loose a rider who is questionable round K L and get Max Fricke in who loves the place and we love him. Still thats life and we have to accept another home defeat and move on, well done the Bees. -
think you need to remove your signature Phil.
