You Shouldn't Call People Retards. It's Offensive
hyderd replied to SCB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Maybe because some like to live in their own little bubble and don't see the bigger picture. -

It wasn't an objection, I was merely pointing out to "Doctor" that the use of that word is grossly offensive to some people, as he seems to think it is diddly as far as offence goes. -

The logic from a poster on another thread was that the test would be if you would be brave enough to say it to someones face.. and well, in the modern world, i think retard is diddly as far as offence goes. I couldn,t quote this as the thread has been locked but it was posted by someone with the username Doctor, if you call someone who is in hospital with a mental health problem a R****d you will soon be going home with your P45, so yes that word is very offensive to some people. SCB has enough intelligence to know that. -
Just ignore him, he's still p*ss*d off about getting it so wrong about the National Speedway Stadium Careful with that word, it nearly started WW111 on here.

Charlie is a proven good reserve, Stefan will always give you 110%, you can't ask for any more. -
No you didn't, but you did originally ask a Cradley fan??
-
You must of read posts about the Leicester track, there's been plenty of them (mostly from Lions fans). Yet still asked the question??
-
You're on the forum often enough to know that the Leicester track has been the focus of many posts since the day it opened, I suspect your post was a sarcastic post and not called for.
-
Thats the same for all teams on their first visit to our new home, hopefully our riders will get some extra practice on it and soon get dialed in.
-
Thats better,

As a fellow Aces fan it hurts me to agree with your post in part, Fricke and Kurzt are both young up and coming Aussie speedway riders but I would give Max the edge over Brady because of the experience gained from his full EL debut last season.
-
couldn't of put it better myself.

my reply was never meant to sound anything but truthful, as for defensive again my reply was nothing of the sort it was merely an obvious reply to yet even more negative posts about Belle Vue's new stadium, it's here, the home work will of been done, now all we need are more promoters with ambition and backing to take British speedway forward.
-
so why are we even trying to predict????
-
??????????????????????
-
I think you will find all those questions were asked by all the backers and Councillors involved in the stadium, it got the planning permission and is now almost finished so we can assume all MattK's questions were indeed answered.
-
I would of thought that they are rolled out from behind then over the fence.I agree it will take a fair few people to do it, but I doubt that we will be short of volunteers,
-
are you sure you don't mean Bricks on a par with C Holder and KK my guess would be, with Doyle not that far behind.
-
great news, welcome back Matej for season number 4.
-
Depending on the Bees final rider their 1-5 could be the strongest in the EL, this though at the expense of their very weak reserves and as we all know most matches last season were won at the reserves berth.

We had some great years under Labour, but like all party's that stay in power to long, they got to big for their boots, having said all that this shower that's in now have known for years the threats we face from Islamic terrorist, yet they still cut our police force to the bare bones whilst also putting thousands of our forces on the dole. Still never mind because those monsters that attacked Paris on Friday night wouldn't dare do it over here...........would they.

Check out the Diamond Lodge, it's situated right opposite the Greyhound stadium about 150-200 mtrs from our new home. -
Brought about by having to save the Banks who cheated their way to nearly bankrupting this country.
