Could Woffy Be Making An El Return?
hyderd replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
As for all the bad mouthers on here, lets not forget where L Messi,C Ronaldo, Neymar,G Bale and many many more pro footballers earn their crust, yes that's correct not in their home country. Give the guy a break, if you want to blame anybody lets start and end with the good old BSPA, after all they have let our sport decline over the years. -
Could Woffy Be Making An El Return?
hyderd replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Tai can earn enough money to keep him happy without having to mess about with the amateur run EL that we have today. I would support any Brit that wears the union jack in team or individual events. The words typed by the ever so blue SS are only venomous because Tai is a world champ and doesn't ride for Poole -
Swindon V Belle Vue 21/04/16
hyderd replied to hagonshocker's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think the Robins will really be up for this after a poor start to the season, I will be happy with a draw. -
should be ready for 2017 then, you've not been talking to Chapman by any chance, have you!.

Don't waste your time and energy trying to explain to someone who clearly only wants to lay blame.

Wolves to win and take 4 points home with them. Swindon only have 1 EL rider, the rest are PL or NL

Belle Vue's promotion have not lied about the postponement of the match against Leicester, they had to be careful what they said because of legal reasons. A fault with the drainage system arose after 1 or 2 heavy showers on Thursday on turns 3/4, this fault caused rain water to seep up onto the track instead of going into the drainage system (as it did on the rest of the track) as showers were forecast on Friday the decision to call off the match was made due to the weather. This was the safest reason for our promotion as like I said earlier, legal issues!

Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 6/4/16
hyderd replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What do you expect from someone whose head is in the sky. -
Leicester are like Belle Vue they own there own track, therefore could negotiate with better riders/GP riders and have 2 race nights. A Friday/Saturday when there's no GP and a midweek night when there is. Speedway can ill afford another Birmingham, wake up Mr Helmsley and smell the coffee.

Some people just can't take a light hearted joke. -
During the winter when our teams name were released, the Phrase "our own" and Max Fricke were in the same sentence.

Seems you failed to read all the post so I'll repeat it. "That though is in the past, lets leave it there

Coventry V Poole Es Second Leg 18/03/2016
hyderd replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
8 man Poole team to win against the 6 man Bees team. -
Gogglegate was cheating simply because the rider and the Poole management knew the rules and chose to ignore them. We took a chance with the hosepipe shambles and were rightly punished by the Governing body, the same governing body which didn't have the balls to deduct those 2 rule breaking points that actually cost us the league last season. That though is in the past. Lets leave it there.

Poole V Coventry Es First Leg 16/03/16

And saturday's lottery winning numbers are....................................... -
Hell of a long time since we've seen a prediction like this from any speedway fan, I'm loving it. Sadly I can't see past Poole as the 2016 champions............again. There is also 1 team whose 1-5 have lots of improvement in them and probably the best No 6, so for me Wolves are my dark horses. Top 4 of Poole top, then 2-4 in no particular order of Belle Vue, Swindon and Wolves. 5-7 in no particular order of Coventry, Kings Lynn and Lakeside, with Leicester the new Belle Vue of the Elite League.

I dare say you know more than me Phil!, but I was told by a friend yesterday that an agreement with the cinema management failed to reach an agreement. Time will tell.

with what Belle Vue and their fans have been through since the new stadium was announced, those pictures make me feel proud to be a fan of the mighty Belle Vue Aces.

Why all the negativity, we have already moved the offices into their plush office in the main grandstand. The first certificate test was successfully completed last Thursday, and the final one today is the football match between old Manchester City players and cast members of TV soap stars. After that the certificate will be obtained and all systems go. The track will be fit for speedway, the racing lines will form when riders try different lines, this takes time but I'm sure that in a couple of months Belle Vue riders will know the best lines to take and other riders will learn. Like all tracks.

Poole V Coventry Es First Leg 16/03/16

Looking at the 2 sides I'd say a comfy home win for the 2016 EL runners up . 56-34 to Poole. -
parking could indeed be a problem however, if local fans could use public transport it would ease the problem for those fans who have little choice but to use their cars. There is also car share and perhaps the missus could drop their husband and kids off and pick them up in the station car park or other agreed place. Public transport is not as expensive as people think, and adult dayrider is only £4.10, 15-19 year olds can now purchase a young persons dayrider for only £2.00 (no ID is necessary to purchase there tickets) Normal league meetings shouldn't be to much of a headache for parking, but the sell out matches will/could be so perhaps the above is worth a thought. PS I live in Stockport, I am taking my grandson to his first speedway meeting, his Mum will drop us off and my wife will pick us up. No headache for me.
