Bell Vue V Wolves Friday 17th June

I still think we are still not 100 % at our new home, with this weakened Wolves I would hope for a win, but I can see it being close 47-43 home win. -
Worrall is proven round our new track whereas Lambert isn't (World U21 was abandoned to soon to get a proper look at him), also to prove my point Steve equaled M Zagar's track record in heat 1 last Monday night,I'm not saying he will beat the might of the main countries Poland, Denmark and indeed Australia, but if he gates, and that he can then I would fancy his chances. If team GB are serious about bringing on the youngsters then I would leave out Scotty and bring in Lambert.

The track tonight shows that regardless of weather it's wet or dry the meeting should go ahead, however riders ride tracks differently in various conditions. For me if its wet like tonight I would go with Woffy, Cook,Lambert, King, Ellis seems to be other fans choice although I have not seen him yet at Belle Vue. If it's dry then the team is easier to pick IMHO.........Woffy,Cook,Worrall, Nichols. reserve is Lambert.

Threat To The Elite League

Come on Phil, make your mind up. lol -
If you choose this option when you get of the train go out by the front entrance, head for piccadilly you will find the 203 bus stop just before entering Piccadilly Gardens (there is a Cycle Republic store right opposite the bus stop). Ask the driver to put you off at the Showcase Cinema complex (buy a day rider ticket for £4 its cheaper), the Stadium is at the back and can be found by walking through the Cinema car park.

if Lakeside do make the P/Off's then I don't think any of the other 3 teams will like facing them in the semi's. Injuries play a big part in any sport, all it takes is for 1 of your top riders to get injured before the semis, then someone else to have bike problems at the wrong time, then you may not even make the finals

They have a rhyming slang.

Unfortunately in India and Pakistan they love their Cricket

Once again I got my ticket online and printed it out myself, took me no more than 5 mins in the queue to get in, and yes the security were taking drinks of people going in, no more so than at other sporting venues. Belle Vue are moving with the times, others will follow. As for the meeting some were a bit like follow the leader but most races were close with passing, ride of the night though has to go to S Worrall, who once again broke the tapes then went of 15 Mtrs, he led after 3 laps. Belle Vue were good value for the 3 points, however if AJ had rode as we all expected him to, then the Hammers could of been going home with a point.

Did he not use P Johns towards the end of last season???

Swindon Robins V Leicester Lions 02/06

How do the Polish authorities get away with this, I was under the assumption one could get paid employment anywhere in the EU -
The track is very fair so still little or no home advantage, I see a similar score to the one against the Bees

Totally agree with you about booking in advance because of our british weather, however one can wait until the day of the meeting and so long as the weather is favourable, one can book and print off one's ticket at leisure, then when it's time to go, one just has to arrive walk to the auto gates, scan your ticket and walk in. No queues no waiting apart for a coffee or burger take your seat and view the magnificent stadium. -

I am also in that stand, I do hope it's not erected by the company who botched up the track or I may have to stand. lol -
A league without the Coventry bees is unthinkable.

wrong, when you buy online there is an option to choose ones seat, I use this option every time. For the PCMT i was sat in the grandstand, Block C row F seat 55, that is until they called the meeting off, but you get my drift -
That is so true, most youngsters would rather sit at home playing games on the phone or pc.

Poole Pirates Vs Belle Vue Aces 23/5/16 Sky Meeting
hyderd replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Same old old from you, we had a very wet winter and contractors who tried cutting corners to complete on time, in hindsight they should of held their hands up and told the council that the weather has held them up and they won't complete on time. Come up and have a look now, a fab, fast, smooth well banked race track that's a credit to British speedway. -
