  1. take no notice of our green eyed Mr SS, it was a poor crowd of roughly 1000 I would say, partly because City were playing their champions league match and partly because Wednesday nights are fairly poor turnouts anyway.
  2. Batch was fast in one race, in fact he won it and got the fastest time of the night.
  3. well done Kings Lynn, better team on the night thoroughly deserving all 4 points. If I had 1 moan it would be "why oh why couldn't R Lambert ride for Team GB the way he rode for K/Lynn tonight, for all you K/Lynn fans who weren't there, he was brill and a pleasure to watch.
  4. Danny is a good choice personally I would of prefered P Hougaard, but neither are as good as Max. As for the match i will be happy with good racing, no accidents and a home win for the Aces.
  5. Would that not be a possible causing of riders finding to much grip when they lease expect it, we all know the dangers of that.
  6. maybe this, maybe that, maybe the other. The simple fact is the forecast was dry from 1600 with wall to wall sunshine from 1700 and dry for the rest of the evening. Blade it at 1630 the sun comes out at 1700 and drys the track creating a very slick dust bowl of a track, or leave it and let mother nature dry it. whatever they do the promotion were in a no win situation and by 2030 it was pi**ing it down again anyway. The only thing that would've saved this meeting is not there yet, why??????????
  7. Strongly worded when you don't know the reason/s. Tai funded his travel, mechanics and everything else to do with the SWC, if he wasn't committed why would he do this. We all know the BSPA are a bunch of promoters whose sole agenda is to look after their own club, that's why we all spend all winter slagging them off. If they are skint then they should come out and say so and enlighten us all what they intend to do to fix it. They could also tell us why Tai has chosen to miss the 2017 season and what they intend to do to try to fix the problem.
  8. Taken from Tai's web site. on his web site he says he's taking 1 year out due to issues behind the scene that he doesn't want to share in public, he wishes Team GB well and says he may be back in 2018 when he sees where we are. He also says he is proud to represent Gt Britain in the GP series and will not be looking to switch nationalities to ride for the Aussies. So in short thank you BSPA for alienating our best rider because of your snobbish attitude to Team GB.

  10. Football,Formula 1, Moto GP, WSB, to name some that TV exposure has done no harm.
  11. Totally agree with you, bit like NKI needing a rest.
  12. UMMM G Hancock springs to mind. Get over it SS Poole have done it so have B/Vue.
  13. For what it's worth, I would welcome Tai back to the EL, because beating a team which includes the present world champion who just happens to be English over 2 legs in the final of the P/Off's, would be the icing on the cake for Belle Vue.
  14. This is the EL not the polish Extraleague, Belle Vue have 3 good heat leaders in Matty, Cookie and Scotty, in Max we have probably the most improved 2nd string in the league, Stevie is holding his own as our 2nd second string rider whilst Richie is scoring big down at reserve, Joe is doing his job at away tracks and more than his job at home. We are not top because we are lucky. Having said all that the P/Off's will be a different kettle of fish, one that I am eagerly awaiting for.
  15. Our team keeps roller coasting along, fantastic win on the road again. Perhaps one of you stats people could tell us if we are on course or even surpassed the best away team over the past.........lets say 10 years.
  16. Any team that could have B Pedersen or H Anderson at reserve for the final are favourites IMHO, For me Belle Vue will be in the top 4 maybe even top but our track has proven what a great racing track it is as shown by Leicester, so I wouldn't put money on them winning a 2 leg meeting as important as the P/Off's. I can see a Poole Wolves final with Poole winning over the 2 legs.
  17. At L/Side with 6 riders and still get a point is a great result, Pity Zagar couldn't be bothered.
  18. awesome race. If you don't like what's on offer you can always try elsewhere, mind, you will find the same scenario when riders from overseas send late messages about their absence. I arrived just in time due to working late to find AJ mIssing, yes I was sorry he wasn't there, but a great win at a great track, with great racing that we witness every meeting and facilities bettered nowhere else in the EL,PL make me proud to follow the Aces and thankful we have promoters who have fought tooth and nail to bring this to Belle Vue.
  19. Lakeside is a small track specialists track, Belle Vue are no longer small track riders. Lakeside to win by 10 or more.
  20. I thought I saw him in the riders viewing area, but I stand to be corrected.
  21. another home meeting to hopefully help towards obtaining some sort of home advantage, we should secure the win and hopefully stop L/Side obtaining any points. I'm going for a 8-10 point home win
  22. one of your earlier posts suggests that Wolves is a better track, last night proved that you were wrong to make judgement on the NSS on 1 poor meeting that was spoiled by earlier bad weather, something we have all seen at tracks world wide. I have no desire to make an issue out of this so lets call it quits.
  23. Brilliant meeting, brilliant track, brilliant atmosphere, well done team GB, coming 2nd against the quality field that was on show tonight is a positive step forward. Finally, Stevebrum, you and I normally see eye to eye,so will we be getting an apology.
