Wrong, they all get a say, but all of them have their own club in mind, that is why many on here would like the BSPA to be run by professional people with no connections to any of the clubs
-
All, before it's to late even for Poole.
-
Yes I did, you insinuated that because Poole are run well all other teams should look after themselves. You do have a point, but unfortunately we have a bspa made up of people only interested in their own skin. This has to stop and all promoters need to work together and make the product better for the viewing public and would be new fans.
-
Poole, Poole,Poole,Poole. One day you will wake up and smell the coffee, Speedway as a product is sinking deeper and deeper into the smelly stuff, it needs all clubs to pull together and promote it better and make the product more attractive to would be new fans.

Can't see Batch or Schlein wanting to wear the Ace of clubs on their chest. If it fits my choice would be, in no particular order Cookie Fricke S Worrall R Worrall D Bewley P Hougaard J Smith
-
I remember well when T Mole sold Belle Vue to DG and Mort, minus a certain Mr Crump as Mole owned Crump and not Belle Vue.
-
I thought Max, the Worrall twins and D Bewley were assets of G Carswell, not Belle Vue arena.

It already looks pretty bleak to me.

Belle Vue Vs Wolves, Grand Final 2nd Leg, 5/10/16...
hyderd replied to Col's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No, it would only of been fair if Wolves could only of use the Tac if they were 10 or more points down on aggregate, Belle Vue used it to try to pull back points in a meeting they were losing (on aggregate). Wolves used it to try to increase their lead (on aggregate).........................and that's why the rule will never be a fair rule. 100% agree........and that's why the rule will never be a fair rule. -

We'll have to agree to dissagree there, if you look at the replay it clearly shows Lindgren take out Cookie's front wheel after making him the meat in a sandwich. I have no desire though for this to distract from one of, if not the BEST speedway meeting I have ever witnessed, and a victory well earned by Wolves.Hopefully the BSPA will of been woken up by the desire and atmosphere by the riders and both set of fans and do something that actually helps and improves our great sport. The Tac ride was introduced to help keep the scores close. Belle Vue were losing by more than 10 at Wolves and used the rule,if we had of got an advantage we would of brought the score closer,as was the reason for making the rule, Wolves were winning (aggregate score) at Belle Vue and were still able to use the rule as they were losing on the night, if they had of got an advantage their lead would of increased on aggregate. The crazy rule is not needed especially in the P/Off's. -

top sports men/women should be able to rise above the insults etc etc, if what you are saying happened at a big derby football match, all hell would break loose. Tai got his say by winning heat 14 thereby gaining the points needed to win the title, the rest made him no better than the plonkers who insulted him. The booing was and is part and parcel of sporting atmosphere, insults are not. -

It made the atmosphere electric, I happen to be a big fan of the Tai, and love watching him race however a bit of crowd banter is good for the sport and sport's personalities should take it (most do) as part and parcel of being one of the top sports stars. -

Brilliant night of Speedway, it had everything that is great about our sport, including controversy. I want to congratulate Wolves on a good well earned victory, I personally am not surprised as I did say at the beginning of the season when we were all making our predictions that Wolves were the dark horses. I also want to say how proud I am of our 1-7 for giving us a great season and finishing top of the table at the end, however Wolves were a tad to good in the P/Off final. For next season if we are to have the B/W Tac ride again then let's hope they (BSPA) have the balls to make it fair. The P/Off's are aggregate score matches and when Wolves played it in heat 9 they were still in front 73-65. -

It's one thing blocking a rider by riding out to the fence forcing the rider BEHIND to shut off or slow, it's totally different when 3 riders are racing neck and neck and one of them (Lindgren) put Cookie in a sandwich between Lindgren and Zagar. There is a fine line between too tough and fair riding, Freddie overstepped it last night. -

F Lindgren is IMHO the best rider I have seen round the NSS, however the pass he made on Cookie was OTT, there is loads of room on the NSS track to make fast, clean passes which Freddie often does, but on other occasions he rides to hard, Ask Woffy. -

first blood to Wolves, 18 points is a massive gap to claw back so for what it's worth I am going to say that Wolves will be the best teams during the play off's, Belle Vue the best team over the season up to the play off final. -
Lisa, females have smaller feet than men for a very good reason, to get nearer the sink. Now run along and wash the dishes. Where's my tin hat.

We need to keep the score close at Monmore and have all our riders maintaining the form of late. I recon the score will be to close to call. So I'll sit on the fence. -
no smoke without fire, but I prey this will not be the end of the Bees. An EL without Coventry bees is unthinkable. Come on BSPA, get your heads out of the sand and help save British speedway.

I have every confidence that Dan can and will hold his own at the NSS, Away matches will pose him problems at first I recon. -

All teams E/L P/L and even in the NL have had to use guest riders, part and parcel of modern day Speedway. But we still have the same 1-7 that we started the season with, and finished top of the league with. -

wouldn't miss it for the world, got my ticket online with print at home, so no queueing for me. Looking forward to a good match as I'm pretty sure the L/Side boys will know that Belle Vue are beatable at the NSS. Still got faith in our 1-7, the very same 1-7 that started our very first EL fixture at the NSS. Come On You ACESSSSSSSS. ps no need for Swindon fans to remind me of the result, I was there.
