It shows just how far down in the pecking order Speedway is on the mag section, the tesco we are talking about now is the first I have seen or heard about the stocks the Speedway Star. Every time I fly I always check out WH Smiths at the Airport, never found a copy yet, my local newsagents will only get them by order. PS I've had a look on facebook, alas this conversation is not on it.

You will have to be quick,as the only copy goes pretty quick. lol

I'v been twice whilst on holiday in Dorset, I'v always found the fans friendly, the meetings enjoyable and luckily for me, the weather was great also. So next time I'm in Dorset (not 2017 though) I will post on here the date and hopefully meet up with Starman, you will find that I am a friendly likable person, and we can have a good chin wag about all things Poole and Belle Vue.

If there was ever a prize for a person who envied the NSS, then your name would come out on top. I was there also for the WTC and sat in the temp seats on bend 3 and 4, the atmosphere was electric as lots of Poles made the trip and were great people to watch speedway with. Everywhere you looked faces were beaming with smiles, as we all were witnessing possibly one of the best international speedway meeting ever. My only gripe, which has already been mentioned were the porta loos. But as the seating was temp anyway what else would one expect. You mentioned "many fans" I challenge you to name them, or are they in your imagination.

All true speedway fans will be hoping for good news soon, all the negative posters are IMO bored, so post answers/questions to wind up the true fans. British speedway needs more tracks like the NSS and hopefully Swindon's new home will be the second.

Has the build started ?, are there any photo's ?

Or most of us are sick of talking about Poole Only kidding.

Correct, promoters and riders are likely to go the extra mile when loyalty is felt, sadly though in some cases team building within points limits has unfortunate barrings.

The point I was making, I thought I made it clear enough, you said Klindt can pass at your track,meaning Poole is a passing track. I said he didn't/couldn't at our track, which like Poole is a passing track.

Great news for Leicester, now go and build a great team and have a great season. (just leave our lads alone, they are spoken for)

He Didn't at our track What has brand new got to do with it. again, you said Klindt will do well at poole as you can pass at Poole, you can at Belle Vue but Klindt didn't. It's exactly the same.

Starman said "Klindt will do fine as riders can come from the back at Poole", I pointed out that klindt didn't come from the back in any of his recent races at Belle Vue, and anyone who has been or seen on TV will know, plenty of riders pass others at the NSS. Obviously Starman is not capable of understanding plain written English.

Surely he didn't have his wife/girlfriend on the back.

Heat 11 Belle Vue v Leicester, Klindt got his only points (2) of the meeting, he gated first but was passed by the end of lap 1. his other 2 races he was a last, and there isn't a better track where a rider can pass.

Don't quote me on this, but I seem to recall reading that the council couldn't afford to finish the Stadium off, so DG and CM had to pay themselves by hiring temporary standing in the south stand and near the pits, this and the 3rd/4th bend cock up is why Belle Vue 's past promoters failed to pay any rent. Like I said I'm sure I've read about it somewhere,just not sure where.
