Same one we had against Wolves last Monday. -
Capacity Of Uk Speedway Stadiums
hyderd replied to mickthemuppet's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Horsens in Denmark has a capacity of 10,400. At the recent GP there the attendance looked short of it's capacity, a second GP in GB wouldn't look out of place at the NSS which has the potential capacity of 10,000. Granted Ippo may or may not hold more fans, but for a GP, what better track than the NSS. -
Belle Vue Aces Vs Poole Pirate 31/07

your problem won't be Belle Vue's start time, getting to the track will, Manchester is well known for it's congestion. Good Luck, if you make it come and say hello. I will be in block B row H seat43 -
Agree with what you say, but it still smarts for the other teams fans. Having said that heat 9 lessoned the envy a little, and the sportsmanship by both the Worralls and Woffy was great to see.

what on earth is happening to British speedway, KK, sinking so low he should be totally ashamed of himself.

Lovin it, Poole in freefall. -
serious question, how come all teams in the Prem don't have to track a 2 pointer. Dan turned 18 in May this year

unfortunately we live in a country that loves to put down our sportsmen and women, that includes the media. Cookie knows more than anyone on here that he let himself down, but he is big enough and good enough to put it behind him and move on.

Will our home form fail us again, hopefully not. Close home win 46-44

Leicester Lions Vs Swindon Robins 17/07/17
hyderd replied to The Observer's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Great meeting with some good races and a grandstand finish, fans can't ask for more. I feel for Leicester, they gave it their all but were unlucky to lose their new Pole, his 1st ride he looked like a real novice, didn't take him long to sus out the racing line though, as he was 100% better in his second ride. But credit where it's due, Swindon kept it close and did what they had to do to nick a good win in the last 4 heats. -
I'll have whatever you've been drinking. lol

Would love to see Cookie do well in the GP's, I think the bigger tracks though are the ones he could struggle with. Dan has everything to be the next British world champ apart from 1 thing, stringing together 7 good starts, he does have plenty of time though to put that right. both Kurzt and Holder have potential, time will tell how much Darcy was probably the most gifted rider of his time, but certainly not a 1 off, Peter Craven, Jack Parker, Ove Fundin, Ole Olsen, Peter Collins, Ivan Mauger, the list is endless. Darcy has joined the list of greats, sadly we will never know how great he could've been. -
I'ts great seeing the Aces at the top,but that means nowt unless you win the P/Off final, for me it will be another Aces -Wolves final with Wolves lifting the trophy after the 2 legs. Why, because Wolves have a good home advantage, we have none.

was looking forward to this, but having checked the weather report can only see 1 winner and it don't ride a bike.
-
He was great guesting for Belle Vue last week, Would use him again without a doubt.
-
I wouldn't compare Woffy with those 2 right now, let alone Lambert. At 19 he still has time to reach their standard, but not yet.

The way Troy rides Belle Vue I'm pretty sure he will be advising the rest of the Stars how to best set their bikes up, if our boys have their gating boots on we should win at both Poole and at home to Lynn. if not we could lose both matches. -

And some 40,000 would turn up at the BLRC at the old Hyde Rd back in the good old 70's, crowds country wide are diminishing nowadays.Last night's GP at Horsens had empty spaces in a stadium with a 10500 capacity. Speedway is dying, something needs doing and doing soon. -
Disagree there, we all knew or at least had an idea why the change was made, Mark simply confirmed what we already thought was the reason.Sedgeman has done a good job for us,but Tungate makes us stronger where we need it most, round the NSS.

Your eyes may or may not be OK, it's that massive big chunk of green envy coming out of your mouth that's the problem -
I hope so, he has done well for Belle Vue and I thank him for that. IMHO as we have no or very little home advantage Lemon has done what a good team manager should, bring in someone with excellent scores whenever he rode at the NSS and Tungate is on a low average but scores very big round the NSS.

Kings Lynn Stars V Belle Vue Aces 21/06/17
hyderd replied to semion's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You make valid points and I hope the promoters at Lynn do something positive as new fans will only return if their 1st visit was entertaining, we the core fans can do our bit by venting our frustration on social media, but staying away....................?
