It was always going to be a loser, the nearest large speedway audience must be Poland, can't see many fans being able to afford the time and money to travel 9500 miles x2. I was there in 2016 visiting my family, on the saturday of the meeting my first sight of a speedway fan was about half way down Bourke St, Bourke st comes out opposite southern cross railway station.The Etihad stadium is directly behind the station. Fantastic track, Fantastic stadium, but sadly I cant see them ever going to make it pay.

In the league meeting at Wolves on 28/08/17, Wolves won 49-41, Wolves had their full 1-7, Belle Vue were without M Fricke. I've not yet seen it on TV, however I was there and from where I was seated F L was at fault. You mentioned the word "luck", well on that occasion no matter which way you look at it KB had all the bad luck (I'm not referring to FL season ending injury). The crash happened and the ref saw Kenny at fault, he got that wrong (bad luck No1) if as you say it was 50/50 someone has to go (Kenny, bad luck No2)
