  1. I do hope so.Saturday nights without SGP wouldn't be the same.
  2. The rule would of been fair if it had been applied at the same time as the 8 point rule was, not after a certain rider/s expressed an interest of a return primarily because of the set night rule.
  3. Next time I shall get my facts right and not act on other posters posts "Poole Pirate Fanatic" so to Mr CVS I offer my full apologise. as for Powlicki I'll believe that when I see it.
  4. Well if CVS didn't want it, then who did and why, the AGM finished at the beginning of Nov, we are now at the end and this rule appears to of leaked out shortly after M Zagar tweets his interest. As for stevbrum saying it also affects Wolves, it does'nt as Woffy has already said he wont ride the PL this season, also stevbrum if Pawlicki has said he is interested, show me the link and I will apologise. Strangely enough, I work with a fair few Polish people, every time I mention speedway to them none are interested. When the SWC was at the NSS, I tried to convince some to give it ago as Poland were involved and were the favourites. None were interested, sad but true.
  5. If we can keep Batch happy, then thats a good team. I expect him to be at Swindon though
  6. Cook.................8.45 Fricke................7.39 Worrall...............6.77 Tungate.............6.18 Bewley...............4.71 Smith.................2.00 ..........................35.50 leaves 7..........KK 6.86.........D King.............6.66 Still stinks, CVS can't tempt Tai (7.03) so lets kick Belle Vue in the teeth and make it extremely hard to sign Zagar (7.48) but don't upset Poole, CVS rings MF,Hi Matt we'll give GP riders who didn't ride over here last season a 9 point average, that won't affect Poole plans because Holder rode here last season. Thank you Sir.
  7. It's not a question of 2 wrongs making a right, the AGM is done with, new rules have been applied and should be honoured. Speedway will never move forward whilst the rules are governed by clubs own promoters
  8. typical, the AGM is over, new rules for the 2018 season put in place, Zagar tweets his interest on a return on an average he legally got in his last season (2016), then a few short weeks later CVS allegedly says any GP rider who didn't ride in the 2017 season will be assessed at 9 for this coming season. DOES THE NAME WOFFY RING ANY BELLS WITH YOU CVS If this rule is indeed applied, then that is even more of a reason why the BSPA should be ran by professional business men, not not self centered promoters
  9. They didn't do it in 2016 with Tai, which in all possibility cost the Aces the league title, why should we not have Zagar on the true average he got in 2016.
  10. I have Virgin, anyone who has the XL package automatically gets all BT sports in HD,one can add all Sky sports at an extra cost which is on a par to Sky's cost, however if one has the Sky package then wants BT also they can only do this by having a separate contract with BT,all pie in the sky now, if BT don't have the 2018 SGP's then I shall be downgrading my Virgin contract as Speedway is the only live sport I will watch.
  11. I agree with what you say, but sadly Speedway in this country has been on a downward spiral for a fair few years,if these rules had not been applied then maybe our own "Belle Vue"would not of survived, and the NSS would still just be a drawing. The light at the end of the tunnel could be just around the corner, because IMO Britain has some decent young riders coming through, if these riders become great riders able to compete against the likes of the Poles, then old and new fans could be seen back at the tracks. Thats my dream, hopefully I'll still be around to see it.
  12. Got to agree with you, apart from 1 aces fan that I can think off, the rest of us took to Joe, his improvement was great, but sadly he couldn't match it away from the NSS. This would cost the team to many lost points away from home in 2018, points the rest of the team would find hard to find.
  13. when the first green sheets come out IMO Bewley will move into the main body of the team with Bates going to Reserve, leaving us a little weaker at reserve but still doable
  14. 1 C Cook.................................8.45 2 S Worrall...............................6.77 3 P Przedpelski........................7.00 ass KK 6.86 or ANO up to 7.00 4 R Tungate.............................6.18 5 M Fricke................................7.39 6 D Bewley...............................4.71 7 J Smith...................................2.00. Talk of Zagars return is interesting, but with a 7.48 average would/could mean Stevie missing out,something I find unthinkable. 1 option is to leave out Rowan, this would give us up to 5.72.(J Sedgeman 5.72) or ANO. again weakening our team. Over to you Mark.
  15. Like I said, you need to learn the difference between fact and opinion.
  16. Where in my post does it say I think Morris can keep his 8.76 average, You need to learn the difference between a fact and your opinion
  17. How can it be a fact when no wheel has yet been turned
  18. Can't see A Belle Vue team without Stevie. 1 C Cook.................................8.45 2 S Worrall...............................6.77 3 P Przedpelski........................7.00 ass 4 R Tungate.............................6.18 5 M Fricke................................7.39 6 D Bewley...............................4.71 7 J Smith...................................2.00 Total..........................................42.50
  19. Point taken, so lets hope in the future someone, somewhere pays enough money so riders don't have to be tied to Polish contracts
  20. Because they want to minimize the risk of their riders getting injured so affecting their teams and leagues, more riders suffer bad injuries in Poland than anywhere else.
  21. Someone should remind the Poles that the last speedway rider to sadly die from injuries sustained in a crash was in Poland, also the great D Ward lost his speedway career through a crash in Poland.
  22. Speedway riders do not ride for the same club 5 days in every week, if they did then your point has weight, The Poles are effectively tying their riders to 3 leagues, meaning 3 day working weeks. How ironic that the great man Lech Wałęsa,who fought for workers rights in Poland, now Polish speedway is trying to reverse it. PS no idea how the type has suddenly gone bold.lol
