  1. If the new track is as good as we are all hoping for, then all 7 Poole riders will have to learn how to ride it.
  2. I guess it's one that we'll never agree on, so best leave it there.
  3. It's no fact but it aint 50/50 either, the vast majority of people who were there and those who have seen the video of the crash put the blame clearly on Lingren.
  4. totally agree, a great little rider and another brit.
  5. I do,he is our best rider and only candidate to win the world title, I believe Tai would benefit from riding in the Prem, as all tracks are different and top riders can and do get beat by lesser opponents, surely that would help him to up his game. IMHO Wolves would of moved heaven and earth to fit Tai in.................................................if he really wanted to return.
  6. as much as I like J Doyle I do think he is injury prone, if Jase can get a full season without any injuries, then he is hot favourite for W T No 2, i hope so because as Markyb has said "he is very loyal to these shores"
  7. correct, the team with their name on the trophy.
  8. I stand corrected, and against your lot as well.
  9. from 2007 till 2015 we were the whipping boys of speedway, so to top the league in 2016, and finish in the top 4 in 2017 is some improvement, hopefully this season we can come away with the bacon.
  10. I sincerely wish you, all Coventry and speedway fans throughout the country the very best of luck in your fight to save Brandon and the Coventry Bees. Hopefully your submission will not fall on deaf ears.
  11. not if they underperform, Matt will make changes at some point if that is the case.
  12. Assuming all teams compete as the fans expect/hope this is my final prediction. 1st Poole 2nd Leicester 3rd Belle Vue 4th Swindon 5th Somerset 6th Wolves 7th K/Lynn 8th R House Poole to pick Swindon in P/Off semi.........Leicester V Belle Vue in the other Final Belle Vue v Swindon Winners...............Belle Vue
  13. Man City, the best team in the land can't fill their stadium.
  14. I hate those MRI scans but there are a necessary evil as they have better detail than CT scans. When I had mine they gave me ear muffs to wear as they need to instruct the patient ie, I was told to breath in and hold my breath a couple of times. Best of luck Starman, I hope it all goes well for you.
  15. Keep the starting 7 fit and injury free, then I see no reason why Leicester won't be in the P/Off's this season.
  16. Maybe, but Poole's track is nothing like the polish tracks, if the track is better prepared for racing, like we all know it can be, then yes Poole should easily finish top this coming season. But if it remains bumpy and unpredictable then it could be a different conclusion. As I keep saying "time will tell"
  17. fair enough, we'll just have to wait and see.
  18. most people on here put Poole as the team to beat on paper, but all that depends on their 2 poles riding in the UK as they do in Poland, Time will tell. Sundstrom was very poor last time he rode in the UK, and as someone has already posted, he didn't have such a good season in Poland last year. Holder is not the Holder that Poole fans remember, if the track is not to his liking, then expect A very mediocre Holder. J Shanes should kick on from last season and B Kurtz should also improve. So yes they look good on paper, but to many if's and but's for me.
  19. just your opinion, pity it's through rose tinted specs.
  20. Would love to agree with you, but Poole on paper are the best team. Fortunately speedway is not raced on paper and we can all hope that the naturious Poole track will hamper the Poles and frustrate Holder into his "couldn't care less attitude"
  21. anything can happen in speedway, and often does, who would've thought that swindon were capable of going on that incredible unbeaten run last season. Also as some fans say, titles are not won at the beginning of the season.
