  1. if that's the case, then J Holder will probs get the shout.
  2. Poland are in the EU, so should have to play by EU laws, yes or no.????
  3. If Poland can get away with it, why not us.???
  4. according to the unofficial official averages LB does fit and surely makes Leicester stronger, and IMO the team to fear most.
  5. surly then Lemo will go with Doyle and Fricke, with either Tungate or Holder at reserve
  6. the meetings at the NSS, the Aussie manager is M Lemon who also manages Fricke and Tungate. If either Fricke or Tungate are flying round the NSS regularly, would it not be foolish to choose someone who has ridden only a handful of laps round the place. As another poster put it "horses or courses"
  7. Why not, todays speedway fans don't get enough speedway, so even though it's not a particular strong field it is another meeting with the incentive for the riders to compete in an international meeting and a final in Poland. Bring it on I say.
  8. Not 1 single person on this forum has ever said that the NSS is the only good track in the UK, the races you mention were indeed classics, raced on great tracks when stadiums had far more spectators in them generating more money which could and was used to keep the tracks in good racing condition.Somerset is and always has been a great track according to home fans and visiting fans, I have been once when the Rebels were riding against Sheffield about 4 or 5 years back. What a great meeting that was, the track was as others have said, and I went home, well actually I was in my touring caravan at a small caravan site almost opposite the stadium, with fond memories of the OTA.The same can be said about other tracks, Swindon,K Lynn (when prepared to the standard Lynn fans are use to) Coventry, Sheffield to name just a few. I've purposely left your beloved Poole to the end. The WTC final at Poole was fantastic entertainment, provided on a properly prepared good SAFE racing track, the same cannot be said about Pooles track of recent years Ask C Holder. Lets all hope that the recent work restores your track back to its former condition.
  9. Starman, some of the biggest tracks are in Poland, we constantly get reminded of how good the racing is over there. We now have a track in the UK to rival any Polish track. As you rightly say, some races are from the gate, but the racing is still fast and close when it's FRG as riders trust the track and space and lines are plentiful.
  10. Totally agree, the BLRC takes some beating.
  11. Why not both in the top tier, that was my thinking.
  12. At the WTC in 2016 I was sat in the temp seating on bends 3/4, there were lots of Polish fans in that stand and the atmosphere was terrific, what I would give for that at every meeting.
  13. certainly looks good at the Lions den this coming season and I wish them every success. I would love them to do it at Sheffield next season, that track and stadium is wasted in the 2nd tier.
  14. So because Adams never won world title, that makes M Loram a better rider than Adams. Adams is the best rider to never win a world title, but if the title was like it use to be (a 1 off meeting) Adams would probably of won more than 1
  15. I missed the Kent match last season, but looking at Kents lineup this coming season, Anders Rowe is in there so I will keep a lookout for him. Jack Smith although not as good as Dan, will make a good rider, towards the end of last season his speed was there, just a little short on track craft, that will come in time.
  16. All riders have a long way to go before reaching international level, some with natural ability do this though in a shorter length of time than others AKA D Ward. Dan is in the same mould.
  17. Don't get me wrong Starman, I like Brady he is young and entertains crowds, but to say he will be far better than Fricke is similar to saying Crump was far better than Adams, he wasn't and I'm pretty sure you'll agree on that. As for Dan becoming a good rider, he already is a good rider, he has only just turned 18 this month, so for a 17 year old in his first season in the top flight to beat F Lindgren,(who is nigh on unbeatable round the NSS) says alot about his ability. So yes I rate Dan very high and the fact that he is British excites me even more, another Brit I also rate highly is Zach Wajtknecht at Swindon, he has beat Dan round the NSS , and that's no mean feat. There are other Young British riders coming through, keep your eye's on K Bickley, T Brennan is another to watch. These lads are our future Team GB riders, and I firmly believe they are better prospects than any Aussie of the same age.
  18. Dan will improve again this season and I truly believe he will finish as a second string, give him 2 maybe 3 more seasons and I fancy him to be challenging for a GP spot. If Dan improves year on year I truly believe he will be a better rider than Max and Brady as a 21 year old.
  19. in the same timescale I predict a certain English rider will surpass BK, You know his name, yes it's Dan Bewley.
  20. Brady Kurtz, is still young, hardly seasoned,if he won heats for fun, why is he not the Aussie champion. A good rider who will be a great rider, give him time. Josh has been around a while now and I think he has reached his peak. Which is not winning heats for fun. Holder still has it, but often doesn't show it. Sundstrom showed great promise when he first came to these shores, has gone backward IMHO.
  21. I've not seen a post from SCB about Poole and the ringers for ages, where is he ??
  22. Just had a look at the Polish Ekstraliga Squads. 1 Question, why are 2 poles in the Poole like up not in any of the Ekstraliga Squads. ????
