Doyle has turned into a world beater and is great to watch, his race against Wright was superb with Iverson superbly winning the race. From a Belle Vue fans point heat 12 was a cracker, Dan Bewley made the gate and was off, J Doyle could not get near enough no matter how hard he tried. Still a worthy winner of the PCMT.

Congrats to Swindon on winning their 1st trophy, hopefully their only one this season . Don't want to read too much into this meeting mainly because I wasn't there, but for me the Aces lost it at the NSS. Roll on Saturday now for the 90th anniversary meeting. -

Swindon will have more home advantage than Belle Vue had,IMHO 6 pts is not enough of a lead to take to Blunsdon. I will go with Swindon winning the Shield, hopefully it will be a good match, and more practice for when the real stuff starts. 50-40 to Swindon. -
Maybe not, but are the better riders likely to take advice of an inferior rider.????
-
The problem with riders using their own race jackets is that opposing riders can easily identify who's behind them during a race, thus making a pass a bit harder as they have a better idea of where the attack could come from.
-
Very true M Zagar being one of them, but when he signed for the Aces he soon came to loving it and riding it very well. Maybe Holder should have a season on loan to Wolves.

Say no more. lol

Thought it was behind closed doors ????

League matches yes, but early season ie before any league match has started, if said rider signed/agreed to take part in an individual before his club arranged a pre season friendly then not IMO. Surely that would put clubs off inviting top riders to pre season individuals for fear of their Polish club playing the Ace card

We all know how ruthless M F is when it comes to choosing who rides for his Poole team. If as you say "He has a 100K deal sorted for Dudek. I promise it’s not money." Then why would he choose a none GP rider, over the world No 2 who would put more bums on seats for his No 1 rider.

When a rider signs a contract for whoever the first contract he has a blank season, the second contract he can point out meeting he can't commit too ect, ect. If he signs a contract to ride in an individual meeting having checked his diary is blank on that day, then his club arrange a friendly on the same day surely he has the right to miss the friendly through contractual reasons.

not sure K Newman or A Ellis will agree with you

which part
-
Simple answer to this situation would be, if a rider sign a contract to ride in the PCMT before the Poles announced the friendly meeting, then said rider has to honour the first signed contract. However we all know that the Poles pay more so demand riders put them first.

Which rider is to improve the most in 2018

As good as Darcy was, we will never know if he was as good as J Parker, P Craven,O Fundin P collins,M Lee, B Penhall, T Richardson, E Gunderson the list goes on and on simply because of the bike differences. So whilst I can understand the Poole fans opinions on D Ward, we will never know the facts -

Lambert is still very young, too much pressure could tip him the wrong way ie Too many nights out with so called friends, drinking too much of the devil's brew,a certain L B from Eastbourne is the perfect example, 16 years old full of potential, but choose the wrong company. Robert like Dan has the natural ability to go all the way with his career, I so hope he does. -

Obviously I was not there, but reading people's thoughts about the incident certainly painted a picture we Belle Vue fans have of him. That said it's now in the past and we can show our feeling when he rides our tracks. Will he ever get back to the good old days when he and Darcy were pretty much invincible, he's still young enough so maybe. -

The only way that We the fans can get any fairness from this topic, is to agree an average for Poole's 2 Poles, say both on a 6 or 7 point average and not the silly low average they have been allowed on. On that basis I would expect Dan Bewley,J Shanes M Fricke, Zach from Swindon, Jake Allen,Jack Holder and Cameron Heaps, there are others but only if their away form drastically improves ie R Tungate. -

What Holder needs to and does do are 2 different things, the injuries he received at Coventry seemed to mentally affect his riding, then the dreadful accident to his best pal seemed to amplify this. Does C Holder have the ability.............YES......Does C Holder have the mental ability..................we will have to wait and see.
