Leicester v Poole SGB Premiership A. 9/4/18
hyderd replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I have said Leicester to win so how would I think they will go unbeaten all season?????? personally I prefer to see how your 2 Poles and L Sundstrom go before making constructive remarks. On paper they look very strong, but as we all know Speedway is'nt raced on paper and Poles are very unreliable. -

If Cookie and R Tungate have sorted their machinery problems out then a fairly comfy home win. If not a narrow home loss. -

Most if not all neutrals are waiting with baited breath praying that Leicester beat Poole, just to throw it back to SS about his Poole team being streets ahead of any other. Leicester to sneak it 46-44 -
Fingers and toes crossed for positive news then for both Stevie and Belle Vue

If we do redeclare how do others feel about Kim Nielsen for Stevie and bringing Jack back for Jye,
-
Nooooooooooooo
-
I so hope you are correct.
-
Gutted, Stevie had a massive training programme over the winter and looked a whole lot slimmer, fitter and sharper, I'm sure he would of had his best season to date. I feel it's impossible to replace Steve on his average, so a rebuild may be M Lemons choice. hope you recover fully and soon Stevie, really really gutted for you.

Ditto everything Bagpuss has said.

I think you missed my point, I said " Craig was beating J Doyle a few years back before Jason upped his game" In the 2013 season in the head to head at Somerset in races where both riders finished in the 3 meeting Cook got the better of Doyle 4-3 Same season in the head to head at E/Bourgh in the 3 meeting again where both riders finished, cook get the better of Doyle 6-3 We all know Doyle has improved to the world beater he is today, can Cookie, I believe he could get better and be a top 8 GP rider if he follows the course Doyle took (many hours in the gym and improves his gateing to the standard needed to be a regular GP rider). Problem is does Cookie believe.
-
Sure is, Shows what can be done with plenty of hours in the gym, a winning mentality and being a fast gater, and his loyalty to British speedway is to be respected.
-
Well lets hope Craig can overcome his problems and get back to the days when J Doyle was just another opposition.
-
Didn't seem to affect C Harris. Craig was beating J Doyle a few years back before Jason upped his game, I believe Cookie can up his game. But does he??
-
Gutted for Damian, 5 pts in his first meeting at the NSS shows he has whats needed. Hopefully he'll be back soon. Paul Stark is a good replacement for Damian, I look forward to seeing him wearing the Ace on his chest.
