  1. what did you say about heat 9 in the post I quoted, nothing! What did you say about Dan Bewley in your post I quoted, again nothing. the only thing we agree on is the numbers attending the meeting, was very poor and must be a worry for our promotion, however I would hazard a guess that it was that poor mainly because of the celebrations in the City for the blue half. As for our super duper track, it's because it's super duper that it gives the riders confidence to race, as was witnessed in heat 9 So to quote yourself (only I wont be as rude as you). Read the post.
  2. Wow, I knew you were bitter but are you sure you had the TV on. there was more passing in heat 9 than you see all season down south, Dan Bewley beating T Batchelor twice from the back just fantastic, the 5-1 in heat 14 had the fans on their feet and if that had of been your turbo twins in years gone by we would still be hearing about it. Yes the attendance was very poor, a mixture of Monday night speedway, it being on the TV. and as Mr Fundin as pointed out Manchester City were on their victory parade. Hopefully the powers that be will realise that they are killing speedway over here, change the race nights to suit all fans (not just the chosen few) and let profesional people run our sport.
  3. just got in, what a night, fantastic racing, great presentation and chase the Ace. Race of the night or even season up to date Tungate and Musielak just fantastic, Dan as usual is awesome. Swindon deserved an away point, but it just slipped away in the final few heats, Belle Vue well deserving of the 3 points.
  4. Lets hope Klindt brings his Workington form with him 18 from 7 rides
  5. The NSS is the fairest track in the league, hence the close scores, the loss of Steve Worrall hasn't helped either, so over 2 legs Wolves should (IMHO) win on aggregate.
  6. If Friday night's were an option and all clubs could race on said night, then I wonder if all clubs would see an increase in attendance.
  7. exactly and he was looking decent on Monday night, lets hope this is his last injury.
  8. can't see anything but a reasonably good home win. 50-40
  9. Hope Jye isn't to badly injured, when will this bad luck end for Belle Vue.
  10. 7 actually, but it's easier to just say Poole Pirates.
  11. best you stick to your beer down Aus way.
  12. Thanks for the info Phil, regarding Stevie, if he can't come back this season who on earth could fill his boots on a 6.77 average.
  13. Ooo dear, seems Mr Shovler is wrong about his all conquering Pirates. Well done Swindon, made my night even though Belle Vue got trounced.
  14. So if you was there you would of noticed the much faster Tungate in his 3rd and forth rides, hopefully those 2 rides indicate he has sorted his slow bike problems and could well relite his season. As for tonight I'm sticking my neck out and say a win for Belle Vue, 43-47
  15. The NSS is a big wide fair racing track, JG gave no room for Max in heat 15 causing Max to hit the fence. No need for that Josh. All in all a good meeting and as SS has already said very little passing but plenty of close racing. The Aces fully deserving the points with a patched up team against the full strength Pirates.
  16. There lies the problem SS is on a windup and everyone keeps biting the bait.
  17. try reading the posts properly, 6 pts from EACH of Cook and Worrall (easily achievable) would've given the pts to Belle Vue.
  18. Are you really sure that Cook and Worrall wouldn't of scored 12 or more points between them, cause that was all they would of had to do to beat Poole last night. Poole were lucky, end off.
  19. To lose by 10 points with a severely weakened team against a Poole team that most neutrals favour to top the league, sorry but I dissagree. If we had had our starting 1-7 I believe we would of won that meeting last night. My only concern at present is Rowens poor away form. As for Poole, they should get better so long as their Poles improve to what their fans are expecting. Time will tell.
