  2. thank you all for the lesson of Peterborough slang, but as I'm a northern lad the (A) just slipped out. If PE7Panther is reading this, there is a clue in here for you.
  3. why are you making my P/Boro, which is obviously a shortening of Peterborough into a silly slanging match.
  4. In my post you will notice that I asked the question using the word MOST, most fans will know CH and HA have ridden for P/Bora in their past EL days, as for P/Bora's PL days I genuinely didn't know as I don't follow PL or present day championship speedway, apart from checking my own teams double up riders scores. So next time please use your words/assumptions more carefully, as most/all speedway fans on this forum know that posters have profiles where they can see whether a poster is a He or a She. PS have a nice day
  5. fair enough, still think they are over rated on paper
  6. Why, Am I right in saying most of the P/Boro team have not ridden for P/Bora before, therefore home advantage is minimal and therefore the track is equal to all riders. Similar to the NSS where we don't have a big home advantage as, let's say Wolves. I see P/Bora holding their own at home by a fairly close score, but struggling on their travels. acef, I'm with you in the minority league.
  7. Lidsey was making a name for himself last season #enuffsaid
  8. That's what the Poole fans were saying last pre season, OK they won the league, but not with the team that started the season. I see the same at P/Bora. PS still happy to have P/bora back in the top flight though, great track that provides great racing.
  9. oh dear, you clearly now how to rattle feathers.
  10. I agree Max is a class act and fab to see coming from the back round the NSS, but to be world champ it helps enormously if you can put 3 or 4 good gates each round of the GP's, if Max can master that then he has a great chance of fulfilling his dream.
  11. Wolves are my tip for the top, can't see where the season improvers are at P/Bora though.
  12. His racing is top drawer, just needs to be more consistent out of the traps.
  13. of the riders announced Wolves.........look the strongest home team and should pick up useful points on their travels. Swindon......if their tail end can hold their own or better still see a small improvement then they will be there or thereabouts K/Lynn........as has been said their team should resemble most of last season, so should be in the top 4 B Vue..........doubts about Dans fitness stop me from placing them above Swindon, plus Jaimon, reports are good, we shall have to wait and see. P/Bora.........they too look strong on paper, but how many of their 2019 riders look good enough to improve their starting average????? Poole...........After their usual changes mid/late season, they will move up the ladder. Ipswich........Only because we don't yet know their team, hopefully they will be able to be competitive.
  14. I don't know about who's fault it was at Glasgow, but up at Worky it was not any fault of Dan's, was it a racing incident ? either way I'm pretty confident that Dan knows how good he is and will only need a couple of Meeting to get back into his stride.
  15. Totally agree, if JT or PP + ANO are the final pieces of the Wolves jigsaw, then look know further for the 2019 Prem champions.
  16. I agree about Dan's fitness, but it aint Xmas yet so just over 3 months to tapes up, plus all the help and physio he is receiving and his youth, I am concerned but not to much. Stevie has had the latter end of last season plus a full winter to train and get fitter, I can see him returning better than he was at the end of last season, as for Lydsey, he is unknown round British tracks, but I would be very surprised if he didn't take to the NSS like a fish to water. I fail to see the improvement in any P/Bora rider that we know of.
  17. With 1 rider still to be found I am still looking for the rider/s who can/will improve their starting average. I'm afraid i'm with acef on this.
  18. umm, I can only think of 2 teams that change rules on a whim, strangely enough they were both in the P/Off final.
  19. correct me if I'm wrong but that team totals 42.62.????????? I took the averages from the SGB website
  20. Personally I would like both, Kenny makes us stronger at home. Craig made us stronger away, however ML had decisions to make and choose Kenny for his strength around the NSS and his lower average gave us extra lower down the order.
  21. As much as I think that whoever finishes top should be crowned champions, the truth is, leave it as it is as it makes good money for the teams competing.
  22. the way people are talking about Lidsey makes it sound like he has signed, yet no announcements have been made by the management.
