  1. How effective is the roof at Torun, I seem to remember one year the track got wet because the roof doesn't not completely cover the track.
  2. I like to see as much speedway as possible but if there were less meetings in the season would speedway be more profitable/sustainable? If British speedway adopted a model like Sweden and Poland and played at home every fortnight would this increase the crowds as people would be less likely to pick and choose their meetings?
  3. Its the same line up but with Bjerre and Smolinski instead of Lindback and Vaculik, slightly weaker but not much difference.
  4. Tai at 50/1 to finish second http://sportsbeta.ladbrokes.com/BBC-Sports-Personality-N-1z10flk/
  5. The first year of Cardiff the attendance was 38000 in 2010 it was 45000, I am not sure how reliable these figures are but there certainly wasn't a significant drop. I think there's more to it than the novelty of a new stadium, like the quality of entertainment on offer.
  6. People could also suggest/complain to the bbc sport website, asking for some speedway coverage this weekend... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/front_page/3701180.stm
  7. Rightly or wrongly I think the 4 wild cards will be...Holder, Ward, Lindgren and Jonsson.
  8. Idea for a new league structure next year, one big league and another small league with just Poole in it.
  9. Does anybody know if Copenhagen will be on the calendar next year, there was some doubt early in the year.
  10. What is the rider of the night competition and second half, I am not old enough to remember the 70s and 80s.
  11. Can we get rid of douglas yet? how many meetings does he have to do before he gets his new average.
  12. Josh Gracjzonek's definately the best option, Howe just doesn't get any luck.
  13. Can the reserve be used throughout the meeting in place of either of the pair.
  14. Why was the track so slick to start with, and why did they leave it so late in the meeting to water the track. Somerset where deserved winners and were always going to stand a good chance what ever track it was on
  15. The only positive scunny can take from this meeting is Ryan Douglas looked better, did I hear he was on Lee Dicken's bike, I am beginning to think he might be good rider if he got some better equipment.
  16. Every time Cardiff comes around this discussion starts and every time countless people come on this thread to say that they don't care about the pre entertainment. If you don't care why bother even looking at this thread.
  17. Lewis Blackbird in for Josh Bates, see greensheets on BSPA website.
  18. Towards the end of the meeting there was only one line but earlier on there was at least 6 passes on the inside, thats more than some tracks get in a whole meeting.
  19. It was a good meeting better than anyting on sky so far this year, having said that it was the worst meeting I have seen at scunny this year, track didn't seem to have as much dirt on as usual.
  20. I agree riders do need time to settle in, but have scunny got that time. If scunny had gary Irving at reserve we would be ok but as it is we have got two reserves that need time to settle in and its costing us crucial points in the race for the playoffs. The top 5 have been pulling their weight just look at the ipswitch match.
