  1. Is the racing normally better? its just I have been to Redcar twice and have left thinking the shape of the track and the setup as a whole is great but the racing could be better if it wasn't so slick and dusty.
  2. I thought the racing was poor, about two good heats. Some will say that's because Scunny were so bad and they maybe be right but I think the track would really benefit from some more dirt and water.
  3. Thinking of coming to this, what has the racing been like this year at Redcar? Last time I went a few years back it was really slick and there wasn't much racing.
  4. I agree, 5.30 is too early when the track dries out we seem to lose a lot of our home track advantage and I think its costing us points and probably supporters. Also there is less dust, better racing, less grading and possibly a safer track due to the consistency in the surface.I think back to 6.30 Sunday or 7.30 Friday next year. I think crowd was always going to be down because - the meeting on Sunday was crap from Scunny perspective and it dragged on a bit - Friday is not the usual race night, - Newcastle never bring many fans - There was speedway on tv
  5. Should be a good meeting, difficult to pick a winner.
  6. I thought the ref was spot on. Scunny don't seem to get any luck I am starting think they are cursed.
  7. I don't think the Czech's wanted to go to the run off, awful use of the Joker and why didn't Milik get an extra ride?
  8. It was Gappmaier who should have been excluded.
  9. The 3 GPs there have been very good but I do think they have been lucky with the weather, temporary tracks outside are disaster waiting to happen.
  10. I agree entirely, I can't believe they leave the dangerous bumps for home track advantage but they have been there for a long time and he's not fixed them.
  11. The pairs meeting is usually excellent and the line up should be quality this year. I do recommend getting down there early as the motorway will get extremely busy down there on a Friday afternoon.
  12. Cardiff wildcard rule needs to be changed to.... highest rider excluding Rory. If Rory gets it are we going to see other riders applying for a British licence next year?
  13. Is this a new rule, I thought Scunny would have to run one race with only 1 rider. Surely this rule is open to abuse.
  14. Scunny needed that hopefully it was the turning point. Douglas and Auty looking like their old selves. Was Douglas on GTR or his GM?
  15. Is this stadium on course to be finished for the Poland v rest of the world meeting in October?
  16. No, but we could do fritz for wilko and berge for auty, then when berge gets his new average after a couple of meetings get Stefan in for Bailey.
  17. Is fritz Wallner fit again.....if he is how about fritz for wilko and berge for auty, then when berge gets his new average after a couple of meetings get Stefan in for Bailey, think that would come in under 40.
  18. If we do a full team re-declaration what's the total team average we are working to 42?
  19. the BSPA website says.... “I guess there's several factors to motivate the riders - the national title itself, World Cup places on the line and of course the wildcard slot at Cardiff. Doesn't actually say the winner of the meeting takes the wildcard. Maybe they should just create a new (unofficial) rule......best finishing rider excluding Rory takes the wildcard.
  20. Is the rider replacement rule the same in Sweden?
  21. Auty has his flaws but he can be really entertaining to watch round Scunny. I don't think it helps Wilko or Auty when the track goes dusty, 5.30 start time is too early imo.
