If the current one is to be demolished first, I would be very concerned for Swindon.
-
I think it would be worth the Swindon promotion going to the Port Talbot factory to see if their stadium actually exists in modular form.

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2018

Still think Jake Knight would be best option, national league average of 8.83 but his away average was higher than his home average so Eastbourne might not have suited, he said this on twitter...... 'Gutted not to be back with Eastbourne next year but that’s speedway and have to move on to the next chapter and see what the next few months bring up.' -

Bickley will probably ride for Workington as that's where he's based also he rides for belle vue colts which would rule him out as they are Friday race night. Jake knight is best option imo. -

Josh Auty is a granted a testimonial so he is probably back. -
Its a bit of myth that the racing is always good in Poland there are quite a few tracks that are crap.
-
I think they should alternate between world cup and a best pairs event. People are going to get bored of seeing Poland winning every year, a best pairs event would be a more even competition.
-
Is the only restriction to team building, 2 polish under 21 riders at reserve.

They host a SEC round, is that a lot cheaper to stage? -

I would have thought Germany could find somewhere better than Teterow, Gustrow would at least have better racing. -

Can't believe that result, what happened to Vetlanda they looked like the away team, was the track different to normal? -
Sgp Wildcards 2018
eric i replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Vaculik has 10 points more than Holder, if he extends that in the last 2 GPs I think its difficult to justify picking Holder. However if Holder can get a few points back I think his past record will see him grab the wildcard. -

No, I heard 12 of the 13 riders didn't want to ride, at least josh got a pair. -

Why this was stopped at heat 10 I don't know, after 2 decent races the track was getting better and better. Riders were getting filled in a bit at the beginning but it was ok. Give me James Sarjeant over Cookie any day much better attitude. -

To excel at Scunny, riders need to be able/want to ride the grippy outside. Can't see Douglas(visa), Aarnio or palm toft back, not sure about kerr or Auty. I would retain Allen and Bailey. Stefan Nielsen and Wallner both could up their averages. Kyle Howarth or Danny King would be nice if either of ipswitch or Sheffield moved up. -
Yes the first meeting against Newcastle was probably the worst I've seen for a while in terms of racing. Glad to hear Sheffield are seeing some good racing, I 've seen some dull racing there in the past.
