  1. I did read in speedway star that, peterborough speedway are not expected to comment further until after their final meeting. It might be that chapman doesn't want to upset the landlord while there are meetings still to arrange/complete.
  2. 3 screws in his leg/ankle, dosen't sound like he has given up on riding......madness
  3. Its not that hard to come up with 3 numbers for the 3 leagues.
  4. BSPA should agree on a conversion rate from polish league average to premiership average (then covert it at normal rate to champ).
  5. British speedway has some stupid rules but the points limit is not one of them, it at least gives a chance for the smaller clubs to compete. From the start of the season it looked like wroclaw lublin final, if Tai isn't fit Lublin will walk it.
  6. I would be surprised if they bought more land for a speedway venue, it would probably be easier/cheaper for them to let them carry on as they are. If the speedway is closed in a few weeks time we can expect Chapman to come out swinging with a campaign to save the Panthers if he goes out with a whimper we can assume hes taken the cash.
  7. yer but he might as well sell it for next to nothing if he can't be arsed to fight the cause it won't be worth much very soon.
  8. I agree, if Chapman is sure the club is going to shut why doesn't he sell the club that is about to become almost worthless. The rider assets could be transferred to Kings lynn, all he would be selling is the track, fence and tapes. He has either taken cash from the developers or he thinks they might be able to carry on.......I hope its the latter.
  9. No fight whatsoever, hes done a Terry Russell and accepted the brown envelope. Wouldn't surprise me if he brings out a statement saying speedway is not viable at the showground, playing right into the developers hands.
  10. Massive meeting for Scunny, need to keep this within 10 points to stand a chance at the aggregate point. Poole will definitely win at Edinburgh so need the aggregate point hear.
  11. I have collated them myself, every year a figure is quoted but I cannot verify it is an offical figure there is certain amount of rounding going on.
  12. 2011, 43,640 2012, 38,000 2013, 38,760 2014, 41,800 2015, 40,750 2016, 40,974 2017, 40,800 2018, ? 2019, 33,583 2022, 19,000 2023, 25,000
  13. So unless oxford win at Glasgow (unlikely imo), Poole get choice of opponents. They will definitely pick Edinburgh/Birmingham but will they pick Scunny or Redcar..... I guess it will be Scunny.
  14. Scunthorpe is imo the best track, certainly beter than Redar Glasgow and peterborough. Not seen much of Workington yet. Brimingham, wolverhampton and Mildenhall too low, leicester, kings lynn and berwick too high.
  15. I can't see how a golf driving range, an all weather football pitch and gym is of similar nature or size to the showground. I think the developer will be trying to argue point K, its no longer viable.
  16. What does that mean though.... I thought cardiff was out of contract after this year hence the rumours of a move to belle vue?
  17. Do last years playoff meetings count towards his average?
  18. Will Lambet receive a new average in time for october 1st i.e the final. Sheffield beat belle vue in the final, lambet scoring a max, its written in the stars.........#onlyinspeedway
  19. Am I right in saying cardiff was out of contract this year and I assume next years event is just a 1 year contract.
