oh well he should do ok π

π That's half the problem. It appears some people still believe it still is 90/91. It's time to move on and if the delay is caused by any one club(s)/person(s) by trying to hold British Speedway to ransom, they should be ashamed. Its time ALL clubs finally stood together for the future of British Speedway. The delay until January damages all clubs prime time revenue and makes you wonder who is running the sport.
-
Are you implying it could be one league, as there are no other teams rumoured to be entering the league? If so, that is major as teams may have to address their team building, admission prices, and season ticket sales, etc.. Surely that would instigate an emergency promotors meeting, not a delay until January..
-
Surely if its the Premiership, that would not affect the Championship and the powers that be would announce something and allow the Championship to proceed. Nothings ever clear with British speedway.
-
Got to agree with Neila. Most clubs advertise season tickets and merchandise for Christmas.
-
What kind of things have not been agreed? and if they are leaving it until January, then surely that is going to be tight in terms the start of the season, if there is anything major to decide.
-
Since when? Thought it was November. Will that allow enough time to be ready for the start of the season. If everything is agreed whats the point of the AGM.
-
Well that's day 1 of the Speedway AGM over. Has there been any word of what the league format or points limit etc is going to be for 2026.

Workington Comets V Redcar Bears 26/07/25 6pm

Heard a rumour yesterday that Craig Cook could be back in Worky colours. -
If it really matters that much, get up to Workington on Saturday and try and find out..
-
ππ surely the issues the club have had is their business. Just be pleased they are back on track. If anyone were to ask you how much money do you have in the bank or what did the doctor say at your last appointment? I know what you would say. Please just be happy that Workington Speedway has survived, at a particular time when most clubs are struggling..

Should be a good meeting and the start of a fairly continuous run of fixtures for the Comets. Lets get down to the GT Tyres Arena and make some noise πππ΅βͺ -

What about Claus Vissing ? Always appeared to go well around Berwick. -
Same old Lewy. Is this the same unsubstantiated claim you have already made? Remember glass houses and stones don't mix.
-
Ask Lewy. He's bound to know..
-
Is this the same rider you made unsubstantiated comments about before the start of last season? Throwing more stones from your glass house again..
-
Thats speedway. Same said about all riders at different stages of their racing..
-
Yes, I saw Mark Jenkinson and family watching a few times over the last couple of seasons. He also did a bit of sponsorship by sponsoring a fence board. So maybe Josh wants to do his bit and help the Comets. If anyone knows him they should maybe mention it to him.

I think a return to Workington for Connor, may just rekindle his love for the sport π€·ββοΈ

π€£π€£ Put your dummy back in. I only gave my opinion and I would have said the same regardless of which ever team it may have been.
