  1. Close meeting tonight. Pleased to see it streamed but compared to other clubs the stream is not the best.
  2. Yes the riders go home if its raining, but I believe it still costs the clubs +Β£1000 if they cancel on the day or close to the start time (Paramedics, first aid, riders travel, etc). Hence why clubs try and postpone fixtures on the back of weather forecasts these days I assume. Can you imagine the grief a club would get if they watered the track inline for a dry day and it rained which led to a postponement? Damned if you do, damned if you don't.. What do you mean by preparing the track properly (watering)?? I think all track promotions could do with you coming on board and showing them..
  3. Just had a quick look to see how ticket sales are going. Has Torun sold out?
  4. Maybe one league would solve this. Consistency for all clubs and hopefully supporters alike.
  5. Ipswich have stood PHB down and have quoted they are actively looking for a Championship position for him. Does his average fit? Is he Fraser's replacement?
  6. I don't blame Poole for pulling Bowes out πŸ˜‰with the reserves they have.
  7. I noticed on the Torun GP tickets sales page there are two prices for each seat. Are these adult and child prices?? They are listed as "normalny" and "ulgowy". On google translate this means normal and reduced.
  8. Shame it took the tractors around 30mins to try and rectify the issues with the track. There were very few issues a couple of seasons ago with Redcar 🫀 I wonder why? After the grading the entrance to bend one continued to clearly show there were issues/uncertainty as the riders appeared not to be comfortable compared to previous visits.
  9. Are you speaking from experience? or presuming what some people say is correct??
  10. Just as well we don't race on here 🀣🀣🀣 time will tell.
  11. πŸ˜‚ That's half the problem. It appears some people still believe it still is 90/91. It's time to move on and if the delay is caused by any one club(s)/person(s) by trying to hold British Speedway to ransom, they should be ashamed. Its time ALL clubs finally stood together for the future of British Speedway. The delay until January damages all clubs prime time revenue and makes you wonder who is running the sport.
  12. Are you implying it could be one league, as there are no other teams rumoured to be entering the league? If so, that is major as teams may have to address their team building, admission prices, and season ticket sales, etc.. Surely that would instigate an emergency promotors meeting, not a delay until January..
  13. Surely if its the Premiership, that would not affect the Championship and the powers that be would announce something and allow the Championship to proceed. Nothings ever clear with British speedway.
  14. Got to agree with Neila. Most clubs advertise season tickets and merchandise for Christmas.
