Price of the cakes is the same but the quality of the ingredients is being reduced. It is possible to spend less on the ingredients and get a great product but it will always depend on marketing. The cakes sell-by date is the biggest concern if you use cheaper ingredients. Younger people seem to have gone off cakes so we are relying on the older generations appetite! How do we get young people to try the cakes?

It is obvious this is going to be the case for many teams next season as the discussions and outcomes of the AGM means that we will have promotions needing to charge to these admission prices with considerably lower outgoings to be viable so it was always going to inevitable. I think he confirmed that before the end of the last season.

Coventry also promote well within some schools, a stand at the Motorcycle Live at the NEC, taking bikes and riders to various places like ToysRus! Trouble is, it doesn't seem to make that much difference to getting new support some maybe the promoters decided they had no choice. It is very easy to pontificate when it isn't your money that is at stake. What I would like to see is Promoters/Management/riders having meetings with existing supporters to see how new supporters can be brought in. Current supporters are more likely to get some success with this approach.
