  1. COOL! Both our teams won something this year Smederna the Allsvenskan play-off final and Belle Vue the Elite League wooden spoon. Very tidy stadium indeed and OMG! this will drive Alan insane there is even a picnic table in the Car Park!
  2. Nooooooooooooo! wow what an entertaining time i've missed by the sound of it. Couldn't make it home in time. Oh well hopefully there are another round of matches to come and i'll make sure i'm here. It will be even better if it's coupled with good racing. Were the riders involved in the crash ok?. Any riders we know? Regards more information that was asked for i do remember coming across at least two excellent Russian sites. Don't forget Google Translate DOES work with Cyrillic translations too.
  3. Just to clarify if anybody is still nonplussed. What i posted last night (and HenryW seconded today from his sources at the track) turned out to be right and the Danish tv was wrong with their graphics for most of the meeting. The meeting awarded points on position 4 3 2 0. The final league table was a combination of the points gained in the final added to the regular season's points. The heat scoring was 3 2 1 0 throughout which means Kanalsport also erred with the first heat result. Final League Standings 1. Esbjerg 28 2. Fjelsted 24 3. Holsted 21 4. Holstebro 17
  4. Got to pop out so gonna screen record the rest of this. It's left me looking forward to the sanity of a meeting run by BSPA rules.
  5. I did think it may happen and it has.....TV just changed their graphics to the meeting scoring. So does look like we can simply enjoy each race for what it is as Esbjerg likely to have the championship wrapped up.
  6. But if you go by the tv the scores are 42 41 35 26 = not clear who's going to win! Surely the tv does have it wrong. Anyway enough! can't talk about it anymore it too stressful. I gonna have to relieve some stress by doing some crazy dancing like the start girls are, they very, very bouncy and active.
  7. Maybe we and the tv are both right to an extent.....what if it's a case of (1) league points are carried over and changed into race points, (2) adding to that are the race points from tonight.......(3) PLUS the awarding of 4 3 2 0 for meeting positions! If so all i can say is bloody hell lol. Just had a glance at DW's card and he also refers to the 4 3 2 0 meeting points, alas no mention of how everything is fitting in. Then again only so much you can fit on a racecard and this Dansk League clearly needs a few volumes of print to figure out. I'm just watching the racing now and hoping that somehow or another if it's down to the excitement of a last heat decider it's been established who can win doing what.
  8. That's exactly what i posted last night, however, tv graphics are not conforming with that. Then again they made a right mess of the Danish individual championship first leg, as did varying official websites and media reports.
  9. This is crazy stuff......the tv clearly adding this meetings heat points to the league points, however, it's clear in many sources that only Esbjerg and Fjelsted can claim the championship. That scenario only fits in with the 4 points for a meeting win being added to the league points!!! Plus, i see the last heat was awarded 3 2 1 0 points. Who confused matters further a minute ago saying one heat was awarded 4 3 2 0 lol lol - ok change that to maniacal, hysterical, despairing lol-ing i for one give up, haven't a clue what's what. Surely someone must know what's going on???
  10. Thank you although you've broken the time allowance....we needed it earlier lol. I'm not getting to watch the whole meeting live but for those who use the racecard they can obviously get the heat results so far from various sites to get their racecard up to date.
  11. The tv graphics showed the result as 3 2 1 0. when i looked at the last heat. Wait and see at the end of this heat to see if it's the 4 3 2 0 version mentioned earlier in the thread. Albeit that was referring to meeting points and not race points lol. Tell you what i'm ignring the scoring totally to save my brain from being fried.
  12. Gee Whizz patience man patience, it's there during the race.
  13. I'm very surprised at the absence of our two main Danish correspondents on League Final day. Maybe they are both at the meeting or despite being Danish they are still trying to figure out what on earth format the meeting and championship is taking.
  14. Lol Lol Lol. Top right-hand corner gives the running total.
  15. If i had a racecard handy i'd look at it and tell you.
  16. ??? that's how it reads but you telling me that red was 9 to 1 to win! That's the price of a rank outsider. Updating just as i'm typing, i hadn't seen the line-up for the heat and looking at the prices for heat four at 1.35 2.70 12.00 18.00 i'm taking it that there are two very weak riders in that heat and they give high odds for the outsiders in a race.
  17. Clocking the graphics on the top right-hand corner of the screen sees the LEAGUE POINTS being changed into MEETING RACE POINTS.
  18. Probably bad for England in that there are likely more than a few young 'uns. Can't place the name of it but that National Anthem so sounded like a rip-off of a well known tune! Don't understand the betting odds at the bottom of the screen. They aren't in the UK fraction such as 7/4 and although looking as if they are the direct decimal version the prices belie that. Heat one has Esbjerg 10.00 Fjelsted 1.80 Holsted 2.70 Holstebro 4.50 If Esbjerg are at 10/1 wow take some of that lol. LATEST NEWS: Wow coooool i like the lady in red, very nice starting ladies. They dumped the dumpy ones for the final lol, omg that harsh but true.
  19. Well if your missus is walking around with new clothes these past few days i'd prepare for the worst regarding card difficulties lol. I'll be watching the second leg tomorrow seeing as it's a freebie. I'm interested to see what this 'second division' stuff is all about. Hope the first leg isn't an away win so that it leaves the return finely balanced. Enjoy your meeting.
  20. Where are our Danes in times of need. Gee whizz it's the day of the Danish League Final they got to be around soon lol. Ok until they drop in this Google Translated from aktuellspeedway; Facts - so run Super Final Super Final run after a four team schedule. That drives numbers 1-4 from each team, They meet three other team drivers in place 1-4. In addition, all law reserves running # 5, to meet each other in three heats. After 19 heats will be run three final heats. winner gets four points, second 3 points, third place two points and fourth grade receive no points. law brings the score table you have run into During the season. If the two teams would end up on equal points after the Final, They will be separated for placement in the Super Final. Ok pretty clear it's a four team format with one rider per team and not pairings in each race. Now other sources i checked last night all indicated, as i posted earlier, that this meeting ends up with teams being awarded points on their position 4, 3, 2, 1 0. Those points are added to their league points already earned. That fits in with all the associated talk about only Esbjerg and Fjelsted being able to win the championship. In the above extract it says there will be nineteen heats followed by three more and then the next sentence may appear to couple with the previous one when mentioning the 4 points scoring making it sound as if it's talking about actual heat points. However, going on all other articles i'm 'guessing' that it is actually referring to the meeting points? Not being conversant as to the nuances of how Google Translate works with the Danish language i'm unsure as to whether the final sentence refers to a run-off in event of tied points. I've just tested the normal link and it (now) has white page saying "Technical problems - we are sorry and is back soon!" UPDATE The site is back online http://kanalsport.dk/
  21. Choice? OMG R&R have you become a speedway part-timer........man up and watch BOTH at the same time.
  22. As i understand it the winner of the meeting gets 4 points added to the league points gained so far with points for the positions descending 3, 2, 0 (i originally presumed 4th gets one point but going by a recent article it's possibly no points for last place) thereafter. This is why only Esbjerg and Fjelsted can be crowned champions. Also it's the reason why Holsted and Holstebro can only acheive a silver medal at most. The hosts Esbjerg only need to finish third to take the title or Fjelstedt not to win. Only got two hours sleep last night and it's now 2:30am with no sleeping in tomorrow so i've done my best lol. It not easy to track down regulations and comprehend Google translate whilst suffering from sleep deprivation you know lol lol. Hopefully our regular Danish correspondents will confirm or inform us otherwise regards to the above. Same goes for the final line-ups, but for now these are the provisional line-ups. Esbjerg Motorsport Niels-Kristian Iversen Mikkel Bech Jensen Leon D. Madsen Steen Jensen, Jesper Kristiansen V. Team Fjelsted Hans Andersen Rene Bach Peter Kildemand Claus Vissing Henrik Moeller Holsted Club Speedway Nicki Pedersen Patrick Hougaard Nicklas Porsing Nicolai Klindt Rasmus Jensen Holstebro Speedway Club Bjarne Pedersen Aleksandr Ɓoktajew Andrei Karpov Nikolai B. Jakobsen Jonas B. Andersen Incidentally, i came across current attendance averages for the teams. Not sure if these have been mentioned elsewhere. 2274 Holstebro 1640 Esbjerg 1640 Holsted 1258 Fjelsted 1115 Slangerup 993 Grindsted 910 Outrup
