Lol Travertine you must be fairly new to these forums you've done well to receive a whole SEVEN LETTER response from 'Arson fire'. Point i'm trying to make is 99% of AF''s replies consist of a single word insult/derogatory summary. Uh Oh i so heading for one of the four letter responses now hee hee. But it's ok because i get my own back balancing up the Ying and Yang thing by making verbose posts. Ahhhh! contented sigh as we have balance in the universe? Anyways, i only popped in to mention that for those for those who don't know ALL leagues and various play-off competition standings are available on a SINGLE page at the MiniMax League standing pages. http://speedway.manc...et/leagues.html Don't know if it's just me but i'm getting dizzy trying to keep up with who's racing in what etc. lol.

Workington V Berwick - Outstanding Fixture
manchesterpaul replied to BuxtonTiger's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It's listed on the Workington website fixture list (wasn't the other day) and also on the BSPA fixture listings. Do Berwick only have the one permitted race night? why do you mention that it's their only possible date? -
Swedish Play Offs 2012
manchesterpaul replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
I've seen two reports from overseas this morning 'apparently' saying that Norbert Koscuich is 'replacing' Linus Sundstrom. The vagaries of Google Translate with the Swedish and Polish languages don't make it crystal clear whether they are indicating joining the team or riding in the match tonight. One report says he has signed the contract ahead of the match. As it stands the MiniMax racecard has 'R/R' in the place where 'Linus Sundstrom' would have been listed so it's no hardship to scribble in Koscuich's name if he should actually appear. As ever i will update the cards later in the day upon any definitive announcements being made. So for those not on the email listings you can download from the webpage right up to just before the meeting starting. I don't have any allegiance to either side in the Finals but on reflection would like to see the injury damaged Piraterna grab a win tonight in the first leg so that it keeps the tie exciting over both days. Looking forward to lapping up some speedway, hopefully large crowds and great atmosphere, and savouring our last two days of the Swedish season! Cheers Premier Sports it's been an enjoyable season and you for sure snaffled some good sporting drama in an otherwise 'not much going on' time slot. Come on everyone admit it, you can't all be playboys and adventurers so what else would you be doing on a (in UK - rainy) Tuesday teatime, it's been a Godsend.. -

Oooops (said in a deep manly voice mind lol) guess who forgot to press one final button last night and actually upload the racecard to the server Ok it IS available NOW. I'll likely put Wednesday's second leg racecard online after the first leg match in case of injuries etc. -
Swedish Play Offs 2012

After checking out the latest news from here, there and everywhere i've put online the racecard with the amended provisional line-ups. My understanding from the most recent news is that Piraterna will only use their new signing Norbert Kosciuch in the first leg in the event of an injury to a rider in Monday's UK matches. However, as Ghostwalker has mentioned elsewhere he needs to be registered first. Although i've seen two reports tonight that say he is 'ready' to be included so maybe he has now been registered?. As ever any late changes to teams will be included in an amended racecard and the match is on Tuesday. AVAILABLE NOW MiniMax Racecards - Swedish Play Offs FINAL 1st Leg, PIRATERNA Vs. ELIT VETLANDA (TUESDAY) http://speedway.manc.../racecards.html Early weather forecasts for the two legs; Piraterna Motala TUESDAY Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain in the morning, then overcast. Swedish Play Offs 2012

The provisional team line-ups for the first leg of the final have now been issued. However seeing as they include Linus Sundstrom in and i'm up to my neck watching sports i'll refrain from publishing the racecard yet, not much point with changes to come and the meeting two days away. -
Sportofaktwe mentioned the large crowd during the first race last night. Haven't got time to Google clips right now, NFL and Nascar in full flow lol, but i' sure footage will surface. Oh yeah caught sight last night of a large article bemoaning the fact that no live tv coverage was available, can't remember if the source was Polish, Swedish, German or Croatian.

Race commentary from Sportofaktwe Matej Zagar 3 Kristian Iversen Niels 2 Ales Dryml 1 Leon Madsen 0 The first two places are Rewarded with promotion to the Grand Prix 2013. Excellent starting point in the Implementation of Zagara. Slovene no illusions left rivals in this race. In the next year's cycle will be Kasprzak, Zagar and Iversen

Translated race commentary for first two run-offs Matej Zagar 3 Leon Madsen 2 Troy Batchelor player 1 Zagar probably led for almost the entire race, but in the final meters of a significant approached him Madsen. Finally a better Zagar. Far behind Batchelor, who struggled with hardware problems. Ales Dryml 2 Niels Kristian Iversen Iversen 3 conclusive victory.

Thank you Andy P. I'll just about grasp all that an hour after the meeting or so lol. Only kidding i can see the logic but maintain countback should be used, if not for the final result, at least to get a four rider run-off. I wonder if any unknowing riders in the pre-final heats will celebrate joyously when winning a race thinking they have qualified for the SGP series!
