  1. Wonder what he is like when he doesn't gate first? I'd presume he's got good machinery to be able to stay ahead of the classy riders that he has so far.
  2. Got to get Googling on this Jamrog character, not been folowing Polish speedway and never heard of him until tonight and that's his second impressive win.
  3. Very informative and nice graphics by Polish tv. Even more ominous for the visitors Gollob getting beat too lol. Maybe he'll change his bike. Will heat 5 give them their first race winner ummm doesn't look good. Leon Madsen Martin Vaculik VERSUS Michael Jepsen Jensen Krzysztof Kasprzak Then again or does it?
  4. Hmm hope it's not this BT censoring p2p stuff? Wow Update Typed the sopcast address direct into the browser superb quality picture on this too This my first Polish match of the season, i can't believe some fool purchased the UK rights and never used them, what a grand spectacle it is. Hopefully the racing will match the occasion too it often does in Poland.
  5. With just the Argentinian rounds to go will there be full fields in them or will we see several local reserves participating? I remember at the start of the season in particular that there were doubts some riders would appear in Argentina due to the costs. How likely are those who are out of the running for the title withdraw and would they be subject to any punishment?. Normally the minimum sanction for withdrawing from a FIM event is that you can't ride anywhere else for a stipulated period (a week???).
  6. I would love for the GP to expand anywhere but have some reservations about what sort of spectacle Finland could provide that would enhance the series. I fear a similar debacle to the Hamar, Norway GP's. Don't get me wrong i avidly look for threads on here concerning speedway internationally and the first thing i seek is the attendance levels and media coverage in the hope that the sport thrives. If i remember fairly correctly i get the impression that 'tragically' crowd levels in FInland have fallen to consisting of the family and friends of riders involved in a meeting! Is the sport enjoying a resurgence in FInland that i'm unaware of (pleasssse someone tell me so)? ??? Can't see any mention of speedway, it's just the home/news page of the site.
  7. Went out to watch this (not exactly a Super Bowl party by any means lol) but doesn't look like i missed too much of a conversation lol. Your hopes went out of the window on the crashes count, indeed one has rightly created a whole thread on it. The weather fortunately did improve after the initial downpour.
  8. Mine IS better for those who choose it. Other racecards ARE better for those who choose them. It's as simple as that! Different features appeal to different people no biggie at all. For example, i find tallying up a riders score easier on mine which has the single grid and a riders points next to each other across a mere five squares. Don't see how rider grids where they are spaced out over twenty squares makes for easier totalling up?. Especially so when you are trying to have a quick comparison between riders and you have too keep flitting to and fro across the grid to line up names and points, more so when looking at mid-chart scores. Also the main MiniMax card, which has several features you can opt to utilize or not, also has a running total next to the riders in the heat for the meeting and series points. Anyway, guess what? again absolutely no biggie people prefer what they prefer. It's near 2am and i only got in from watching the GP at around 1am so not got any great enthusiasm to discuss racecards lol. I'm going to have mine roboticized so it can get you a beer from the fridge or make you a cuppa and i'll also attach flashing neon lights to it. Agreed thanks to all racecard providers, the more the merrier in order to cover different tastes.
  9. . 1. Goodness me i just did a search and toooooo funny IT WAS YOU. 2. On to the non-speedway comment......Already got a good life as it happens. If you have too then toddle off and enjoy it as i do mine. Then hopefully the only time we have to interact is when using the speedway forum for discussing speedway matters. A friendly tip do try and get something more important to do than posting comments on a non-important matter. Only i understand (from your own words) that apparently you only deign to post on important matters. Hmmm that's twice now you've slipped up and both times over someone posting a racecard notification in advance,......not a major topic in fact very boring.
  10. YAWNNNNNNN! at your INFANTILE and IMBECILIC reference 'Danish Webmaster'. Try and understand EVERY racecard......hell! even if it received ONE download is the PEOPLE'S CHOICE. Unlike you i am able to cope with others issuing racecards. I set out when first issuing a racecard to continue it if TEN people downloaded it. EVERY time i put a racecard online the downloads FAR FAR exceed the views of the thread on this forum. CLEARLY PEOPLE CHOOSE TO BOOKMARK AND DOWNLOAD IN THEIR LITERAL THOUSANDS. I twice had to upgrade my website package to the highest level to cope with the demand. As i don't advertise it actually costs me (more) money to provide the racecards. Do you, like me, put the racecards online as a free service to fans or do you have some sad, sad, SAD attempt at fame or God knows what reason???? Understand if ten fans download i would continue as a 'no big thing' service to the fans. I have no need for 'multiple' account holders to post 'thank you for THE best racecard' type posts. I go solely on the (to me) quite astounding download figures on the server. Incidentally, what a high level ignorance is shown by those who state that a racecard is THE best, I, and most people would state that a card is THE best for THEM. As i've said before even the naffest racecard, if someone PREFERS it, IS the best in their eyes. Wow what an eye opener that you are harbouring such a jealous pathetic begrudged grievance since i came on the scene. TEN fans downloading makes me continue let alone the LITERAL THOUSANDS who download each GP. I have been genuinely delighted that there are so many fans out there. Incidentally , it doesn't go unnoticed how many in the 'racecard field' have already copied in part my unique formatting alongside many departments of the media who have HURRIEDLY taken on various aspects of my presentation. Even some software providers have shamelessly added bit by bit my innovations and presentation formats. I'm soooooo chuckling away right now DM, my God you have ACTUALLY been PEEVED all this time just because another racecard provider arrived on the scene. WOW! SAD! Incidentally plaudits to 'willstaxi' and 'drofgum' who quitely get on with the intention of this thread each GP and simply notify us that their racecards are available. Very nice to have such balanced and emotionally secure people on board. Any reply hecklers Rhidassa, tomhaines, Danish Webmaster???
  11. Less than 24 hours to go until the start of the closest end to a series for a while and no thread on show? Is there really no interest in this one! lol. Maybe everyone's gone to the moon Torun? It's actually made me check to see if there was an internet trafffic problem or something going on. However, it's fine and i've also glanced at the racecard server and it's merrily speeding away as normal. I see that there is a fair amount of light rain or drizzle over two days forecast on three of the main weather sites. I've not checked the local radar or anything yet but hopefully the meeting not only shouldn't be in jeopardy but should have a raceable track? It is partially covered by the stands i think (unsure) and there are strong winds forecast. So is it a two rider race for the championship or is there a fair chance Greg can make a battle of it too? Does anyone really care! eeeek! I for one can't wait to savour every minute of it. Chris Holder only two points ahead of Nicki Pedersen and here are their race schedules Heat 2 Tomasz GOLLOB Nicki PEDERSEN Greg HANCOCK Peter LJUNG Heat 4 Jason CRUMP Chris HOLDER Marciej JANOWSKI Fredrik LINDGREN ######################### Heat 6 Chris HOLDER Emil SAYFUTDINOV Jaroslaw HAMPEL Greg HANCOCK Heat 7 Antonio LINDBACK Jason CRUMP Nicki PEDERSEN Martin VACULIK ######################### Heat 11 Peter LJUNG Chris HARRIS Martin VACULIK Chris HOLDER Heat 12 Fredrik LINDGREN Andreas JONSSON Emil SAYFUTDINOV Nicki PEDERSEN ######################### Heat 13 Nicki PEDERSEN Bjarne PEDERSEN Chris HOLDER Hans ANDERSEN ######################### Heat 18 Chris HARRIS Jaroslaw HAMPEL Nicki PEDERSEN Marciej JANOWSKI Heat 20 Tomasz GOLLOB Chris HOLDER Antonio LINDBACK Andreas JONSSON #########################
  12. I've just checked three major forecasts, it's now Friday evening, and although they all refer to rain Friday and Saturday, on the whole it's light rain. Also, there are supposed to be very strong winds which should help dry the track if it gets wet?.
  13. Many thanks on behalf of speedway fans to Dave Goddard. It's been refreshing to have a sports commentator who doesn't have to employ caricature gimmicks in his broadcasts. It may be worth bearing in mind how, aside from football, television companies can have a tendency to shuffle commentators around for their other sports. Therefore hopefuly anyone who has enjoyed the broadcasts will consider dropping a line to Premier Sports and show their appreciation. The racecards will be in place again next season and thanks for the thanks Dave. Unless i'm under the wrong impression i think the flights that Dave refers to are from the studios in Ireland??? Not sure now lol. If so it's all the more reason as to why he has done such a grand job with a restricted information flow.
  14. Put them online so AVAILABLE as of NOW! MiniMax Racecard 2012 TORUN Grand Prix Basic Version MiniMax Racecard 2012 TORUN Grand Prix
  15. Oh My Goodness not again. Surely i don't have to explain again as to the VALID reason why i put the thread up the day before the draw? I explained it last time. Also, possibly not but maybe lol (i rarely take note of who a poster of a comment is), are you the chap who when making a post a short while ago said you rarely post on the forum anymore as you see nothing of importance.....yet.....your post was on the subject of posting a racecard first? If you're not well i hope whoever it was reads this hee hee. It was an astounding statement where the poster just hung himself high and dry. CAPITAL LETTERS FOR ANYONE WHO HAS THIS WIERD THING OF THINKING THE NOTICE ABOUT RACECARDS IS TO BE FIRST......NO IT ISN'T WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY INANE CLAIM TO MAKE. If you're going to the 'effort' of making a post try and make one not so childish. Hey in fact here's a tip, try and make the post on something important. The first sentence of the post states the time of the draw and day (tomorrow). For reasons explained in the past the timing of the draw matters a good deal to many people when it comes to getting to print out the racecards. Rhidassa i thought i had (man) blonde moments but exactly what part of the following first words of the post did you not understand "Available following the draw tomorrow afternoon"
  16. Whilst i use IE most of the time and FF occasionally don't forget that when you use Google Chrome it automatically translates foreign language pages to English. It comes in very handy when scouring media for team news from Sweden and Poland. Obviously there is nothing to stop you having all three browsers in use at the same time.
  17. Available following the draw tomorrow afternoon are the TWO different versions of the MiniMax Racecard. The draw this week is currently listed as a late afternon one on both the main and draw pages of the official site at 17:15 Local time (16:15 BST). You can directly download them from the top of the following page and either print on both sides of a single sheet or use in a match programme format over two pages. MiniMax Racecard 2012 TORUN Grand Prix Racecard Basic Version MiniMax Racecard 2012 TORUN Grand Prix Racecard
  18. If Holder doesn't win.......hell YEAH! Go Nicki Go NIcki Go Go Go Ok over and out all off to catch up on the football.
  19. Lest we forget whilst adding congrats all round.......thanks to Ghostwalker for keeping us up to date on the rules all season, much appreciated. Nice to hear a tv commentator thanking members of the BSF i wonder what Nigel Pearson and Kelvin Tatum would say about us!!! Maybe Chris Holder is busy getting his head size measured for his Crown on Saturday.......certainly hope he does win it. Another clear home win to cap the season for Vetlanda.
