Bloody Hell you are right Alan with your recent observation on the eating habits of the Danish start tarts, what a hefty rear on that lady in yellow. -

Good to hear you're able to watch, looks like we'll be getting some good racing. -

You likely have to update something, Flash? Cool, i am a kind person but still can't get my head around this business of if someone is watching a meeting delayed then nobody can talk about it in the match thread. Nice racing in Heat 2. -

Evening/afternoon, great quality pictures i see. -
First of all hopefully the delayed broadcast won't be a regular occurrence. I got to admit i made a point of staying away from this thread on the grounds that i wouldn't expect others who can watch the meeting live to not have the pleasure of discussing events live. Obviously i would expect the score and unfolding events to be talked about as they happen. Absolutely no offence intended Pandorum but i don't see why people would come to this specific thread if they didn't want to know the score of a live match. A lot of my sports clash and i occasionally have to record one of them and take it as a fact of life i've got to avoid going to where i'll see the score/result. No worries though you'll never get the score in advance from me as i won't be coming to the thread when there is delayed coverage. Aside from those who have to utilize streams because they don't/can't have Sky, obviously in this section we do have many international fans watching in Sweden and wherever else the Elitserien may be shown on tv, so they don't rely on Premier Sports for their coverage. It would be a bit like a fan from a country where the SGP is only broadcast days or a week later asking us not to discuss it until they've had a chance to watch it. On to the meeting, i'm not sure why so many people had Indianerna as nailed on favourites for this match. Whilst i didn't by any means expect such a large victory i don't see it as a massive upset. Vastervik technically had two top riders in Hans Andersen (yeah i know he fluffed it) and Chris Harris, and they also ended up with a third in Tomasz Jedrzejak, but they clearly pre-meeting had a good advantage in the reserve positions. Troy Batchelor and Ludvig Lindgren must have been expected to outscore Damian Balinski and Mathias Thornblom surely? What's up with Antonio Lindback he seems to have had a few stinkers recently in league racing. He started great in the GP on Saturday with two wins only to fade badly and not qualify for the semi-finals. He had another poor meeting here too. Glad to see a broadcaster do something i've mentioned before, and beat Sky to it in the process, that is display a riders individual heat scoring along a single line instead of a bare total. The Swedish graphics have been stepped up a considerable notch or two, quite impressive. Sky's Elite League table is quite odd with the limited chosen columns they show, especially as it would appear they could fit more in? Sad to hear of Hammarby's thrashing at home to Dackarna (38-52), i know i said preseason that they looked weak but wow! that was a shocker indeed. The forum has been very slow at times over here too. It's not my broadband connection either, that's merrily chugging/speeding away at 76Meg. Also, the forum is occasionally showing as "not just you" at the 'downforeveryoneorjustme' site which always comes in handy to check if it's the site or your connection/computer. http://www.downforev...neorjustme.com/ Great to hear that you had such a quality stream. You'll appreciate it even more when you come over and watch speedway in the raw, chilly, wet British summer. But don't worry you can have plenty of to numb the cold. We don't want you going back to the sunny US of A with a chill.

Too be honest i couldn't care less who the commentators are or how annoying, i'm so delighted we still have access to the GP's. Things looked so bleak right up until the start of the series regarding getting to watch it on tv (HD too). Also, the number of times the broadcast is repeated is a great extra benefit, possibly for the sport as well seeing more people will come across it when not clashing with one of their favourite prime time Saturday night sports. I don't ever rewatch a GP normally but i confess to having the Bydgoszcz rerun on in the background a couple of days later whilst on my computer, it was good stuff indeed. I would have have thought pretty much most fans would have been eternally grateful to have been able to watch racing which ranks up alongside the best ever in the history of series. To see so many posts complaining about the 'filler' voiceover commentator is crazy. -
Those who utilize the streams for their viewing are the lucky ones this week as they'll be watching it live unlike UK tv viewers who'll have delayed coverage. Hope the Ice Hockey doesn't go into extra-time and they end up pulling the speedway coverage totally! Oh well every cloud has a silver lining, i won't be here during the match offering my comments lol (hey that cheering is too loud), as i don't want to know thew score ahead of watching it on the telly. Interesting (ok feebly interesting) to note that Vastervik share three riders with Wroclaw in their team tonight namely, Peter Ljung, Tomasz Jedrzejak and Troy Batchelor. Don't know if three riders shared between teams is the most in the various leagues?

I see that Sweden has come to a deal to bring the Polish Extraleague to television screens for their speedway fans. They state all the best reasons for doing so, best riders in the world, great atmosphere with plenty of fans and usually top class racing etc. Isn't their a UK rights holder for this league?, yet we fail to be able to see it on our tv's. One would have thought that at the very least we could have access to an online broadcast. Oh well fortunately free online streams these days are of very high quality, just seems odd for someone to buy the rights and prevent anybody from seeing the product.

Poland versus Rest of the World pencilled in for Lublin on 12th October. The intention is to put out the strongest possible side. I'd seriously consider travelling over to that one, where can i get a ticket?, where is Lublin?, would Poland be defeated? lol. It's going to be a genuine Rest of the World side and not one of those shocking affairs such as in America where the riders are unknown and occcasionally in parts of Europe where 5th grade riders represent the rest of planet speedway. I trust this one will be televised and subsequenty therefore available online.

Parken Out, Vojens Back?
manchesterpaul replied to iris123's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
That's awful news. Google Translate version of the article "In ten years, the park completed stadium for the World Cup series in speedway when Nicki Pedersen and Co.. has lured the people of Copenhagen to the speedway. But when slaggeakrobaterne guests capital for the eleventh time 29 June so it may very well be the last time that gassed up in Copenhagen. According to Ekstra Bladet information considering GP organizers from BSI / IMG: to bow park because the cost is too high. Not only is the national arena not cheap to rent. The cost to bring speedway on the park's turf and travel costs for the many visitors Jutes into consideration. Negotiations have slowly begun, but with the prospect of running on the newly built and roofed stadium in Stockholm park smoked down the list of priorities. For while the Copenhagen Grand Prix is important for Danish speedway, then it is no longer the same value for the organizers. So if there also must be run in Copenhagen in 2014, the price down. - We'd love to be in Copenhagen, but right now the ball is in park and Wonderful Copenhagen, says the managing director of BSI, Paul Bellamy, Ekstra Bladet. This does not mean that Denmark smoking entirely on the calendar. Everything indicates that Vojens will comeback if farm will be deleted. Ole Olsen's life's work lost otherwise exemption before this season. But outside the park in the budget will be counsel to the temporary grandstands that can make Vojens VM-ready again. On the other hand there is every indication that the Finnish Tampere comes on the calendar already for next year. - We have been up and look at it. There is room for 17,000 people, and Finland do have a great motorsport tradition, says Olsen, who in turn has shot a whistle for a Russian Grand Prix. - No, I do not believe. But the Russians may well easily get to Tampere, he notes." -

Swedish Elitserien on Premier Sports, although it's one of the rare occasions it's not a live broadcast. -
All Elitserien MiniMax racecards are initially available with the officially announced provisional line-ups. I will then check for any changes shortly before the match commences and make any amendments accordingly. It's your choice as to whether you wish to print out on the provisional line-ups or wait. TV meeting racecard AVAILABLE NOW FREE MiniMax Racecard Elitserien Vastervik Vs Indianerna Tuesday, 7th, May, 2013 NOT live by a majority lol. Sky EPG and the Premier Sports website tv guide have the Ice Hockey listed. Premier Sports website Speedway section has the Speedway listed live for tv and streaming. Hmmmm! don't suppose the Speedway streaming will be live? As a PS tv subscriber you can access the PS Player for free, however, it usually shows what is currently on screen which of course would be the Ice Hockey. Oh well i'll watch the footie relegation battle between WIgan and Swansea, or more likely just have it on in the background lol.

Unfortunately many general sports fans and indeed speedway fans would have missed the superb racing as they turned off or changed channels. There were only four races in the first 50 minutes and the fare on offer was pretty dire for several more heats after that. For those of us who stayed with it (on the grounds that with speedway the racing only starts or gets better as the meeting goes on) we were rewarded for our loyalty with another great GP.
-
Good link GHostwalker, Personally i'm satisfied with the Premier Sports coverage and would struggle to fit more viewing hours in, in fact it would be impossible unless i want to become a chair bound hermit lol. However, for those who don't watch as many other sports as i do and have got time to fit more speedway into their leisure hours i've emailed the company and asked them "Will your speedway broadcasts be available to fans in the UK and also US and other countries?" As an addition or a standalone to the UK Premier Sports meeetings it does look good "Livespeedway.se is a new page which will be broadcasted live three matches from each round of the Elite Series regular season, and all matches in Speedway Championship year to honor, not only that, all the matches could go to watch the games afterwards in our archives where the matches are filled the day after, it will come up a host of exclusive material through interviews with drivers and team officials in the different teams." UPDATE You do need a Swedish IP number, however you can obviously sort one out for yourself

Thank you Pawel and Alan it's superb quality even full screen. I've so got to try and find time to fit that in some time this week. Don't you just love and marvel at the internet. -
Absolutely awful news i've just found that out myself before coming here. UPDATE Apparently his father died shortly before the meeting and Emil was unaware of the tragic news until after the post-meeting press conference. From Nicki's Twitter account "My hand is broken im soo pissed off looks like 4 weeks out. Still raced 2 heat after with a broken hand a lot of pain"
