  1. Oh well at least the thunderstorms tomorrow should only kill off the speedway unlike in Oklahoma today. I wonder if Premier TV would be able to get hold of one of the other matches that are now televised if their one is rained off?
  2. Ok putting the racecard back online with updated news of the teams that has been published tonight. Although as ever i suggest wait unti as late as you are able to in case of further last minute changes through injury or whatever. UPDATE EDIT Tuesday 22:55 Anyone downloading the racecard from the time of this post will receive the new version. This has the notes box replaced with a gate points & wins grid - to fill or not to fill in as is your desire lol. The Swedish Elitserien cards will also implement this from next week. The teams now should be HOLSTED Renat GAFUROV Rasmus JENSEN Nicolai KLINDT Patrick HOUGAARD Pontus ASPGREN MUNKEBO Kenni LARSEN Krzystof BUCZKOWSKI Morten RISAGER Nicki BARRETT Anders THOMSEN
  3. Ok i make it; 1. Matej ZAGAR 11pts 2. Przemyslaw PAWLICKI 11pts 3. Ales DRYML 10pts (+3) 4. Martin SMOLINSKI 10pts (+2) 5. Aleksandr LOKTAEV 10pts (+1) 6. Tobias KRONER 9pts 7. Maciej JANOWSKI 9pts 8. Cameron WOODWARD 8pts 9. Max DILGER 8pts 10. Timo LAHTI 8pts 11. Scott NICHOLLS 7pts 12. Aleksander CONDA 6pts 13. Dennis ANDERSSON 5pts 14. Andrei KARPOV 4pts 15. Peter LJUNG 4pts 16. Henry van der STEEN 0pts ? There was a fair bit of passing. I certainly enjoyed it. Bear in mind that the ultimate goal of entering these rounds is to become a Grand Prix series rider, should Nicholls really have put himself into a position where in a meeting in which 10 out of 16 riders qualify a fall or a roll of a dice is enough to put him out? Wouldn't bode well if he had gone on to qualify for the series. Don't forget this was the weak end of the competition with semi-finals and a Challenge final of stiffer competition ahead.
  4. Looks like Pawlicki not fit enough for the first place run-off, he had beaten Zagar in the heats too. So that leaves a run off for third place between Dryml, Smolinski and Lokataev.
  5. Zagar clearly got his act together after his poor first race. That race was the first i can remember being quite so strung out. In heat 18 Andersson (4pts), Dilger (5pts) and Lahti (6pts) all hovering around Nicholls but they do come up against Smolinski. Smolinski having a rough race there, first being squeezed out and later falling did Nicholls no favours. Heat 19 Nicholls got the outside gate which has been scoring well. Looks like if in the last heat Woodward (6pts) and Kroner (6pts) fill the top two positions Nicholls won't qualify. That's presuming i filled in my scorecard correctly so far lol. Nicholls (7pts) needs to hope Pawlicki (11pts) grabs the win. I've not checked the countback if one of the first two mentioned finish on the same as Nicholls. Off hand i can't remember if there is automatically a run-off or if it is on countback. Nice to see Pawlicki get up after that nasty fall, Scott needs him in the re-run too! UH NO PAWLICKI IN THE RE-RUN. Alas, curtains for Scott. Good job i was here and not the Sky commentators they wouldn't have had a clue who was going through, or what was at stake for each rider in that last race lol lol.
  6. OMG! it's the body painted ladies going around the track Very nice battle back from Pawlicki, i think Andersson thought he had that locked up. All four back - Loktaev took it very easy in the first bend of the re-run there....guilty conscience? lol Scott NIcholls (now 5pts) kept at it around that first bend in Heat 16 and that leaves him in 10th and last qualifying place with one round of races to come. He's got Loktaev (10pts) and Dryml (9pts) in his last race (and Conda 3pts)
  7. Starting gate problems Heat 8 Nice determined win by Smoli in that one. Heat 9 Ouch! argy bargy between Smolinski and Nicholls the former muscled his way through
  8. Eeeek Scott! If i remember rightly i think that they let kids under 16 in for free. Heat 4 a big surprise. Loktaev wins! Smolinski 3rd! (that quietened the crowd they ain't singing anymore sort of thing lol) and Zagar last! I wonder if the announcer at Berwick (and Poole) will be speaking in more than one language as our German friend here is? Heat 6 oh well at least Scotty beat Henry van der Steen! ummm applause???
  9. OK line-ups comfirmed as the FIM amended one i posted yesterday and both racecards are up as of now, be glad if i never see another racecard in my life lol. I'm off to watch the meeting. Loving that i can understand the announcer too. Good Luck to Scott Nicholls. 10. The quality of the stream is decent enough to allow full screen, or at least pre-meeting it is lol. Only seen him once before but that possibly looks like Conda with the number 3 race jacket on the back of the Harley pre-parade. Goodness me dontcha just love this, the graphics pop up for a second saying '3 Martin Smolinksi' whilst the camera zooms in on him clearly wearing the number 16 race jacket. Ok i'm going with the amended FIM line-up from yesterday before i go insane (ok insanER lol).
  11. I notice today that on the Danske Liga website they have published the above line-ups with a possible place for Nicki Pedersen reserved. Yesterday Michael Jepsen Jensen was clearly listed alongside a report that Nicki Pedersen would not be riding. Additionally, there are other changes to the teams listed yesterday. The meeting is two days away and i always suggest one does not download a racecard until at least the day of the meeting, therefore, i'll go back and remove it until at least tomorrow. I think with this match Wednesday morning might be the best time to try again. Oooops, sorry Gray i couldn't get around to creating one this week, or adding an extra empty team space as pandorum suggested. Bear with me.
  12. TV meeting racecard AVAILABLE NOW FREE MiniMax Racecard Danske Liga Holsted Vs Munkebo Wednesday, 22nd, May, 2013 All Danske Liga MiniMax racecards are initially available with the officially announced provisional line-ups. 13. Thanks for the little match write-ups again Ghostwalker. I did a little one for the tv match when you were away lol, but prefer to leave it to someone who knows what they are talking about. TV meeting racecard AVAILABLE NOW FREE MiniMax Racecard Elitserien Hammarby Vs Vargarna Tuesday, 21st, May, 2013 All Elitserien MiniMax racecards are initially available with the officially announced provisional line-ups. I will then check for any changes shortly before the match commences and make any amendments accordingly. It's your choice as to whether you wish to print out on the provisional line-ups or wait.
  14. Curioser and Curioser the FIM have replaced their 17th May press release starting list with one dated 19th May and in the new one Matej Zagar is moved from number 3 in the riding order and Aleksander Conda is moved in the reverse direction. Max Dilger is listed at 9 in both. Got the two racecards (basic and dual grid) ready and waiting for the riding order, might not bother if this keeps up lol. 17th May 13:05 http://www.mittelbay...ortnachrichten/ (pages and pages of coverage this last week, just enter speedway into the search box) "In the field of riders to race there were two very short-term changes. Stanislav Melnychuk from the Ukraine will be replaced by his compatriot Oleksander Loktaev. Unfortunately also had the Finn Joonas Kylmäkorpi, certainly one of the favorites in Abensberg, cancel his participation." By the way a video preview with Martin Smolinski and two ladies, one particularly 'perky', wearing only body point from the waist up, now maybe that WOULD boost attendances in the UK lol. http://www.tvaktuell...t-in-abensberg/ UPDATE 12PM UK TIME I have two racecards standing by for this meeting, the Basic and Dual Grid versions as it's being streamed live on the FIM website. Sadly with just over an hour or so before the meeting there are several conflicting line-ups published on official sites on the internet. If i can't get a confirmed listing before the meeting starts it's unlikely i'll publish either racecard. Best hope is to be prepared to check back just before the meeting starts. On reflection, if i don't hear anything new shortly before the meeting starts i will go with the OFFICIAL FIM RELEASE 'RIDERS LISTINGS' DATED YESTERDAY, 19th May. I would therefore suggest you download the DUAL GRID version as that is easier to pencil in rider changes. As ever if there is a last second confirmed line-up i'll change the cards. The FIM issued the following line-up so don't shoot the messenger/racecard compiler if it doesn't even resemble what actually transpires lol. 1.Andrev Karpov 2.Timo Lahti 3.Aleksander Conda 4.Cameron Woodward 5.Tobias Kroner 6.Scott Nicholls 7.Dennis Andersson 8.Maciej Janowski 9.Max Dilger 10.Henry van der Steen 11.Peter Ljung 12.Ales Dryml 13.Oleksandr Loktaev 14.Przemyslaw Pawlicki 15.Matej Zagar 16.Martin Smolinski Reserve: Marcel Helfer Reserve: Richard Speiser
  15. It's one hour since i last posted and both documents are saying the same as they did then. However, both could be wrong as i've added the dates and times they were last modified and neither exactly recent. The left hand one at the top of the article has Joonas Kylmakorpi. (Last modified 12th May 16:27) http://msc-abensberg...n_List_Race.doc The right hand one in the side column has an empty space. (Last modified 13th May 21:52) http://msc-abensberg...n_List_Race.doc Both have Created 06/05/2013 19:26 and Last Printed 08/05/2013 14:26 So it looks like my earlier post of Dilger coming in at number 9, which was published in several places on the web, could have been right at the time. Also, if the news you obtained is even more up to date then Melnychuk will be replacing Dilger? Ok i'm dizzy lol gGuess we shall see what the morning brings or 3 minutes before the tapes go up most likely lol.
  16. Lol sorry that's me doing rough maths and getting 15 riders plus a host rider covering TWO semi-finals!!! I hadn't harked back to the original post because i remember you saying "Looks as if........" and my memory is used to 5 riders tending to go through so overlooked you stating 10. I wonder if Max Dilger has had a late injury, only checking his website he states that he is starting tomorrow. However, that was published Friday. I also took a glance at the Abensberg site and their rider sign in document, but that has a blank space at number 9 and Dilger still in the reserve position. Several other sources on the web all have Dilger at number 9. Oh well off to have me din-dins and watch the 5-5 United match, i'll check again later tonight. Instant Update Edit I just refreshed the riders signing on list before closing it and they've updated it to show Joonas Kylmäkorpi at number 9 and Max Dilger in the reserve position. As racers and royals has pointed out below there are two links to supposedly the same document and they contain different line-ups. See my post below for the differences. it's a document obviously and not a webpage so if you click on it it will download or open as word document. If you prefer the webpage that the link is on that's this link below http://msc-abensberg.de/hp402/Speedway.htm
  17. Cool i'll keep an eye on that. Has anyone confirmed that it's 5 to go through and no restrictions on a maximum number of qualifiers per nation as in the European championship? I'm presuming yes on both counts. I'll probably do a couple of racecards although they'll likely be most used by our European friends as i'm guessing it's a Holiday Monday in Europe with SGPQR and World Cup qualifying meetings going on.
  18. Hey R&R see how easy it is to un-inconvenience people it took me about 2 seconds to remove 7 screen worths of empty space lol Changes to the above line-up leave the field as such, hopefully no injuries today in Poland if any riders involved in that league. 1. Andrei KARPOV 2. Timo LAHTI 3. Matej ZAGAR??? (FIM have changed this to Alexander CONDA in a replacement press release - see post further below) 4. Cameron WOODWARD 5. Tobias KRONER 6. Scott NICHOLLS 7. Dennis ANDERSSON 8. Maciej JANOWSKI 9. Max DILGER 10. Henry van der STEEN 11. Peter LJUNG 12. Ales DRYML 13. Aleksandr LOKTAEV 14. Przemyslaw PAWLICKI 15. Aleksander CONDA??? (FIM have changed this to Matej ZAGAR in a replacement press release - see post further below) 16. Martin SMOLINSKI Res. Marcel HELFER Res. Richard SPEISER What a superb spot. Thank you as this looks an interesting meeting with a smattering of top riders too. If i can grab the time tonight i'll cobble together a racecard for the meeting for those who can get to watch it online.
  19. Congrats to Tai and he so thought he was excluded at the first attempt. He was looking away from Emil and when he touched the tapes himself was unaware Emil had already done the same. They both threw their heads up in the air thinking they were excluded lol. I guess it's good timing ahead of Cardiff to try and bring a few more through the doors, although not up to 60,000 as Tai said earlier in an interview. In the standings those two have created a small gap however just look at Gollob tonight and you can see how easily such a lead can disappear.
  20. Dreading Tai winning because Pearson and Tatum will register on the Richter scale lol.
  21. Eeeeek! that overhead shot of a near empty stadium ahead of this advertising break was the one used at the start of the broadcast. Don't know why they don't use a live shot with the crowd in the stadium. You don't see shots of a pre-match empty Old Trafford or Wembley lol. Agreed.
  22. Lol hey a move is a move. You are definitely pleased. Was just starting to think that i do actually have an inkling as to who can win the series seeing Emil in his race just now. But i was momentarily forgetting Wowfy! Wowfy! Wowfy! Proving to be a great series with the exception of the quality of racing right now. Several major names still in the running for the crown with the leaderboard nicely compact.
