  1. I should have relied on my own eyes as i always preach one should do but i've been doing other things at the same time........and these graphics have got me totally flummoxed lol. I wouldn't mind you can't even trust the match score that they are finally showing, they often change that during a meeting too lol. Not forgetting his previous two meetings 3 2 3 3 2* 3 3 3 2 3 2* 2* He's also been scoring heavily in Polish League 1 and of course doing well for some team in Sweden
  2. Houston Slangerup we have sound! Someone must have thought on what's this button for and pressed it.
  3. When i returned to speedway i was shocked to see all this joker stuff had been instigated
  4. Gate 2 providing the first four race winners! Gee no music in the stadium or much talking from the announcer it appears. Surely not all Danish tracks are so quiet? Is there a noise abatement stipulation of no music? Heat 5 graphics have the scheduled line-up but i'm sure i saw red in number 1 race jacket (Leon Madsen)? All black leathers too, i must check him next time out. Yep definitely number 1 jacket in red, Madsen as Tac Sub then?
  5. Steve Worrall was supposed to be replacing him as a Guest, unless you've heard a late change? Eastbourne website "Steve Worrall rides at Birmingham in place of Mikkel Michelsen, who has a Danish league match that night. Michelsen is back for the trip to Coventry." Birmingham website "Eastbourne are without hot Danish talent Mikkel Michelsen due to a clash of fixtures with Denmark – Cradley’s Steve Worrall replaces him as a guest." BUMP>>>> Can anyone prevent Ouch #2 reappearing by giving me the first 2 heat results by helmet colour order??? Depends whether Graphics man has messed you up already lol. I didn't see that crash i was looking down but i see Sogaard was excluded for it. No commentary still but the quality of the picture is one of the best it's ever been, even in full screen mode.
  6. Ouch #1 has the meeting already started. Ouch #2 I keep getting "stream not available" CANCEL #2 as i type it come on Can anyone prevent Ouch #2 reappearing by giving me the first 2 heat results by helmet colour order??? Depends whether Graphics man has messed you up already lol.
  7. Thanks for the above. Also, i think i'm correct in saying it's your website?, there is a detailed report here http://www.baansportfansite.nl/nieuws/364/prima-overture-dutch-speedway-league-.html Only worrying thing is, there was more than the 8 spectators seen in the seated section wasn't there? I do hope so as there is some fine work going on to get Dutch speedway up and running to a higher level.
  8. 2,219 for this meeting. Probably be referred to as a bumper attendance in UK lol. I remember giving the Swedish average crowds and they obviously are better than the UK ones. UPDATE: Aha! a quick search gives the following average attendance for the 2013 season, NOT including the play-offs where you obviously get much larger crowds than during the season. Ikaros Smederna 3,808 Dackarna 3,596 Indianerna 3.517 Piraterna 2.935 Elit Vetlanda 2,917 Västervik 2.590 Hammarby 1.934 Vargarna 1.738 As a comparison the attendances for the media dominating football is for their highest league 7,210, and for the second tier equivalent to the Champonship over here 2,451. So quite decent crowds indeed for the speedway bearing in mind the non-central (inhospitable lol) location of some of the tracks.
  9. Sportowefakty on the same date as your source published a different riding order for Poland with Hampel and Janowski as the starting pairing and Dudek the reserve. Hopefully we'll get clarification today rather than on the day of the meeting itself! I've not had a Google around yet, might do one later if nobody comes up with a confirmed Polish line-up. "Famous stores for SBPC in Eskilstuna. Hampel, Janowski and Dudek in the frame Polish" "In the statement of the Polish national team saw changes relative to the last round of Speedway Best Pairs Cup . Krzysztof Kasprzak change Maciej Janowski , a reserve on the team white and red will Patryk Dudek ." http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/439517/znane-sklady-na-sbpc-w-eskilstunie-hampel-dudek-i-janowski-w-kadrze-polski UPDATE: Just had a quick Google found a Swedish article dated more recently that agrees with Sportowefakty, and a One Sport article dated 16th May that agrees with the Swedish source you linked to!

  13. Ok got a good evening ahead and that was a very enjoyable start to the night. Tonight we saw why so many of us regulars love our Elitserien, somehow i don't think as many Swedes are thinking they love the UK Elite League, not everything in the universe balances up lol. Thank you Eurosport, the riders and for those who used it Sopcast.
  14. EH!!!!! ummm no apply my previous response Hee! Hee!
  15. Was delighted to see that comment before the meeting but never thought it would necessarily be this good, it's been a meeting with good racing and a great contest.
  16. We're getting a great match here indeed. Jonasson in desperation tried to take a short cut at the end of the race there lol. Yeah no sweat i did take in your original observation that some of the passing had been because of a lesser skilled rider initially being in front and not able to maintain his position. My only two points made were that, as you agree, we are getting good races. My main point is that every sporting action and contest in the world is based on competitors being of, or performing at, different skill levels. Every advantage or change in position is either a more skilled competitor having the know how to best the lesser skilled one or the latter making a mistake or currently lacking the knowledge to maintain a position. Whichever it is in any given situation gives rise to sporting action.
  17. How do these attendances compare to season averages? Good, bad, so-so?
  18. But the thing is you can apply such thinking to every sporting action in the world. If a footballer dribbles past a defender do you say that was a great thing to see or do you heartily bemoan that the defender was a thickie for letting him get past lol lol. At the end of the day it resulted in a dribble past a player or in the case of speedway an overtake, both of which are pleasurable to witness.
  19. After using 'live pause' i'm a few mins behind at the moment but heat 10 excellent throughout. I did say to the critics of week one that it was conditions that made for poor racing on that day. Aha! interval allows me to fast forward to being live lol.
  20. Indians doing remarkably well when from 6 races their reserves have a single point compared to 10 from five races for the opposition.
  21. Does an inside pass not count as a pass? UPDATE: Wow i certainly enjoyed that inside pass by Iversen in heat 9 counts as a pass for me Lol
  22. Meanwhile here one wonders if Emil can gain only his second race win of the season in heat 9!
  23. As far as i am aware it's the first time we've had that problem and of course the fault can certainly lie with other than Eurosport. I'm just wallowing in getting to see the Elitserien in HD.
  24. Heat 6 even 'good-er' race of the night so far i think. Well done Prota.
