  2. On the Piraterna site Google Translate offers up; "Linus injured in Poland last night, Stefan Andersson announces Navicular broken, Linus is bandaged and will be out for 5 weeks. Ahead of today's match we drive Riders of Linus. Does that likely mean Rider Replacement? (hmmmm or they are searching for a replacement lol)

  4. Same here don't know anyone who uses a telephone directory these days or is able to read one without using a giant magnifying glass or soon be needing a microscope! lol. Unless you have absolute zero ability to make the most minimal use of the internet not having a third party provide you with an index isn't going to affect you much at all. You don't even need a proxy to search for geographically restricted sites, there are numerous ways. At the end of the day it might be a good thing for some people as it will keep them away from sites that exist solely for malicious purposes and whose content is merely 'lifted' tv listings or streaming sites listings.
  5. TV meeting racecard AVAILABLE NOW FREE MiniMax Racecard Elitserien Ikaros Smederna Vs Piraterna Tuesday, 25th, June, 2013 In view of the commotion surrounding Przemyslaw Pawlicki's day on/day off riding schedule it may be worth pointing out the standard suggestion to hold back downloading until we can be sure of the line-up. However, having said that i've yet to see any official club or news sources saying he won't be riding, we'll see what tomorrow brings i guess. The Elitserien racecard is initially available with the officially announced provisional line-ups. I will then check for any changes shortly before the match commences and make any amendments accordingly. It's your choice as to whether you wish to print out on the provisional line-ups or wait. Don't worry he avoided racing on Monday taking steps to ensure his well being according to his recent Twitter "Well if I ride for Poole this year belle vue out of way". Apparently his practices went ok. "Another practice and was good. Can't wait to race but gotta be smart about it !"
  6. I'm seeing quite an altered line-up for Munkebo now as per below. But hey we still got over a day for more changes lol. MUNKEBO Grzegorz WALASEK Morten RISAGER Kenni LARSEN Cameron HEEPS Anders THOMSEN
  7. Uproar over Emil Sayfutdinov. Looks like he's going to trigger legal action against him for breach of contract. Indianerna named him for his next match but didn't expect him to appear. Obviously the sponsors are rightly miffed. It's a very poor show that apparently the only contact between club and rider is solely through his manager, not very nice at all. http://sverigesradio...rtikel=5573164
  8. This has been discussed heavily and covering all angles many times in the General section so it might have got more attention if it had been placed in there? I am fortunate enough on both geographic and monetary grounds to be able to subscribe to every satellite channel there is but that still leaves some Man U matches uncovered. However, i've never missed a match a single for many seasons, despite that, i've never heard of the streaming channel referred to. Which is an indication of how hard it will be to block streams. Of course there are many ways around a simple block. I agree with Alan that on face value of viewers speedway doesn't raise enough alarms to get tv companies to seek action, however, where we would lose our speedway is because the sites that stream our sport also do the football. But currently we do have workarounds available and i'm more upset about the innocent victims of blocking ISP's and peer-to-peer sites that have many genuine legal uses.
  9. I never got to see the last heat 14, the stream froze here. However, the video timer ticker never stopped very strange. It's still counting up now but only a still photo on screen in the video square.
  10. Having the ability to double stream seems quite a privilege too! Very long break at the moment but the UK meeting doesn't start at 30 minutes past, just the tv broadcast. Feed gone down let's hope the tractors are out right now! Last heat decider and all. Awwww! we should have donated a few pennies for them to put in the satellite meter. The time ticker is still clicking away on the bottom of the screen and away from full screen the webpage is working fine.
  11. Fine ride indeed by Rasmus. If the meetings overlap i'll listen to the whispering Danes on the computer and mute Pearson and Tatum on the TV Steen Jensen has been pretty much unbeatable all season for Brovst and he's cutting it in the higher league too. Heat 12 looks tasty!
  12. Holsted need to man up and be at their best in heat 10. Gee you just gorn and jinxed it...a restart lol. You on the edge of being unforgivable now...we getting a re-run of the restarted race lol.
  13. Did fear for Holsted in that race, not necessarily a 1-5 though, but good racing by Steen Jensen helped secure the lot. They really need him to back up Nicki in the next race and restrict Kasprzak to another third place. Wonder if Esbjerg will replace duck egg Toft with Steen Jensen to keep the pressure on? (Guess not) Actually i've forgotten if number five counts as a reserve regarding replacing riders! Wow! a surprise 'Tofter' by Bech Jensen in heat 8. Followed by a non-surprising Tofter by Toft in heat 9.
  14. Holsted going to be in a lot more trouble if Kazza gets his act together.
  15. Was going to ask why was he repeatedy looking around as they neared the line. Was he really looking to team ride his partner with 30 yards to go! or was he checking that nobody dare come close to his injured arm If anyone got Twitter thank Kanalsport for their feed Or maybe keep quiet as i remember years ago a Danish TV station had the SGP on stream for a couple of years and then they blocked it once they realised it was being accessed in other countries. However, i think that this is different and they are aware and happy that 'overseas' viewers are watching?
  16. Only nation that stages sports competitions - American Football and Baseball etc) - that only they are allowed to compete in and then call the winners World Champions lol. Love American Football, UFC/MMA, Nascar, and Ice Hockey (NHL only) though, all fantastic sports. But Baseball more boring than cricket and Basketball truly awful wherever it is played in the world. Each to their own tastes mind, no problem.
  17. Got to admit i give my American friends hell for that. Methinks they still use Abacuses you know. Hmmm yours is the 'Yellow' Alan, i bagsy 'Red'
  18. TV camera focussing on that guy who can't make up his mind what his name is lol. He's got different names in different leagues and on various websites is referred to by two diiferent names on the same site! Mikkel Bech Jensen covers all three so i'll stick with that for now, although might make a note of which name he uses in each league and refer to him as per league You know those lithe ladies might turn out to have lumpy puddings for bottoms, this is Denmark start girls lol. Ooooooh! warned you all before Nicki Pedersen preparing for a walkout lol. GrrrRRRRR come on Nicki i got three sporting events to watch at once if this meeting is delayed starting.
  19. I couldn't find one the other day when the live tv broadcast failed to materialize. I only had a quickish look but did check out likely sites. Sportowefakte which updates most international league matches don't do the Danish despite having a dedicated section to the league. Sorry, but someone else on here might well know of one of the top of their heads? Looking at the track it clearly did get hit by the rain as mentioned earlier.
  20. That line-up now appears in four different places this afternoon so it 'should' be correct. Don't know where i got it from originally but it is the one i already had pencilled in, although not what the original line-up was. Holsted's Jonas Davidsson was called up by his Polish club for PRACTICE. Looking forward to this one, not checked the weather yet (i'm about to). We got Nicki Pedersen back for the home side and champions Esbjerg with a 100% record. TV meeting racecard AVAILABLE NOW FREE MiniMax Racecard Danske Liga Holsted Vs Esbjerg Wednesday, 19th, June, 2013 Glancing at the forecast it says it's showers right now. However, most of them are forecast towards the latter end of the meeting. We should be ok they only supposed to be spotty ones and not heavy. UPDATE...just glanced at another 5 forecasts and a couple have a chance of heavy showers/light thunderstorms listed, so fingers crossed and we shall only know when the tv broadcast comes on to screen. Yep fingers needing to be crossed for that happening more than the weather. If they have technical problems again Kanalsport will need to sack someone! We don't want Nicki fearful of sliding off and damaging his arm, he's in the habit recently of leading teams off and going home this season leaving the likes of a 0-75 defeat behind lol lol. Joking aside respect to him as he must still be in considerable pain.
  21. Racecard ready but not being published as it looks like another day ahead off musical chairs. Official League site has Hougaard at number two and Klindt at number three. Holsted site has Jonas Davidsson at number two and Hougaard at three. Esbjerg site has Bach and Bech switching places.
  22. That was all enjoyable once again, stay safe until next time.
  23. Over 4,000 in attendance that's good news as Dackarna were getting concerned with recent attendances and had hoped there had been generally mitigating reasons why. Match bubbling to a nice close
