No problem at all, if i give incorrect information please say so. No girlfriend tonight so i'm trying to cook (and put out the accompanying fires in the microwave and oven) whilst doing several things on the computer - which is why i'm not using my spreadsheet both computers have got tons of windows open.
-
Was going to add if i filled my card in correctly lol, i'm very much multi-tasking....i'm not using my automatic Open Office spreadsheet tonight which i set up years ago either, that really is state of the art updates absolutely everything you can imagine.. However, i'm sure anyone who is betting is making sure they fill in their card, spreadsheet or piece of notepaper correctly. I corrected it, NO I HAVEN'T I GIVE UP MANUALLY FILLING IN TONIGHT I DOING TOO MANY THINGS AT ONCE was more a case of not being able to read my scribblings, i not the neatest programme filler-in ever existed lol. Back to the speedway everything comes to he/she who waits, some good racing there.

OMG! i can't miss the opportunity to mention that the MiniMax racecards show at a glance that the gate points and wins are currently; Gate 1.~~~21~~~3 Gate 2.~~~14~~~0 Gate 3.~~~14~~~2 Gate 4.~~~23~~~7 EDITED AFTER DOING TOO MANY THINGS AT ONCE TO CORRECTLY FILL IN A SCORECARD MANUALLY LOL Anyone using the cards and betting i only request a 40% cut of winnings. If you losing i'll throw a couple of pennies into your hat so long as you whistle out a good tune on your penny whistle whilst you sat on the street corner. Megadeth for sure and Anthrax good too. Have i forgotten anyone?

Oh my goodness the Lioness roars still....i not seen you around for a while. I thought you had retired to the prairies and Savannah grasslands etc. Hang on i see a clue in the name, maybe you tend to populate the Premier League section? I know most are saying it's boring, it certainly is lacking in close racing, but there is still enough to keep one's interest in the battle for the meeting win and 2014 series qualification.

Oh you know how it is to us Brits all blue-eyed sun-tanned blond beach Gods look the same. On behalf of the rule book, the other riders avoided the rut. Presuming NKI went where the rut was because it was the shortest way from A to B but paid the consequences for the gamble? EDIT Apparently it wasn't even a rut but a part of the track with a different texture, but same reasoning stands NKI went where the others avoided

You would have thought at the start of the season it would be Zagar and not Gollob lining up in the 2014 Wild Card Beggar's Queue, not currently though! Yeah as much as i cheer on and admire racers such as Tai, i got to admit i would prefer Emil to capture the crown. I must say i do like that Eurosport give a recap of the previous four heats in each break.

Welcome Alan, Not sure how many have decided to watch this on the telly, both forums are pretty quiet. It's a shame, i avidly watch any GP or any speedway on the tv. Wow Hancock up against Covatti (1) Kasprzak (0) and Lindback (0) and ouch he didn't win! Oucheee he finished last!!! Valiant attempt by Tai...if only speedway races consisted of five laps. Coming up Hampel against a pair of duck eggs here in Sayfutdinov and Gollob lol.

ALWAYS great to hear his opinions and his own personal views that he is entitled to express. I agree with the vast majority of his views but certainly not all. Unfortunately not everyone on forums on the internet are capable of constructively penning a differing point of view or counter-argument to something. So sadly we end up wading through t i t-for-tat personal insults and attacks to see where the points and arguments (not as in rowing) are. OK let's hope we have enough speedway incidents to talk about tonight, and i'll ignore the fact that Nige just said it's a decent crowd, errm not for a Grand Prix it isn't, the supposed height of a sport, stadium only holds 4,000 and it isn't full.

That's the same reason i have never ever cheered a crash. You repeatedly see in all forms of motor sport the most spectacular and horrendous looking crashes where the rider or driver walks away without a scratch. Then, also as in normal life, what seems to be a minor/safe fall (although i understand Ricky's wasn't) there can be dreadful or fatal outcomes.

Dutch Speedway 2013
manchesterpaul replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in International World of Speedway
Belated answer to your question, i've only just noticed it. You were making posts in April of this year (last one the 16th) in a topic titled 'Dutch Speedway News 2012' and the thread is still 'live'. Then again you may be referring to another thread you set up? http://www.speedway-...+speedway +2012 But i'm sure we're all happy and grateful to have this 2013 one up and running now. -
Do they like having the sport embarrassed by having the sport's flagship series staged in front of around 3,000 people! It makes speedway look very small-time indeed. No doubt we'll still have Nigel Pearson proclaiming "they do love their speedway here in Terenzano" and in 'Emperor's New Clothes' style "it's a packed house".

Dutch Speedway 2013
manchesterpaul replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in International World of Speedway
Excellent news hope they get a good smattering of spectators to donate to the coffers. Does four teams = four different tracks? I didn't think the Netherlands had sixteen riders! Are they out and out speedway riders or grass track riders dabbling in speedway? -
Not asking you for the name of the pub lol but whereabouts in the country is it? Is it in a city centre or out in the wilds? Is it popular and busy and they normally bow to the demand for football, cricket etc. or is it a very small local where there are few customers so no rebellion when the speedway is turned on? You say others nearby will show speedway is it a speedway town? Just wondering on all the above only any pub i've been in in Manchester whenever the speedway came on the channel was instantly changed to one of the same old same old traditional ball sports.

Lol that's what happens when one goes in for speed reading whilst multi-tasking. According to the Russian forum it was called off when it was raining. The rain then - AS FORECAST - subsequently stopped and it didn't rain again. Fans reckon it could have been staged without a doubt.

I could be wrong but i'm sure i read somewhere the other week - very likely the Speedway Star - that Tai was having a plane put on for him and a couple of others may well get to hitch a ride on it too. But do they use the local girls or do SEC hire their own? Goodness me we so going to see you on TV aren't we Alan? picketing outside the stadium calling the SEC girls scabs. Then when the SEC refuse to buckle you going to do an Emily Davison suffragette style lay down in front of the starting gate
