Fast Track Riders
manchesterpaul replied to manchesterpaul's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Eh? ok i still on a run of late nights and sleep deprivation but.....does that mean it's a good job i cobbled up these stats as the BSPA ones will be ignoring the Fast Track riders performances in the Elite League? Also i avoid the 'rolling' averages like the plague, especially over more than the current season, as i am interested in a riders current sporting performance over the WHOLE of THIS season. I'm not interested in knocking off or adding percentages of averages for this, that or whatever reason regards to the team building rules, i want to know - and published - riders averages according to their sporting performance for this season. Rolling averages are a technical tool used for team building/regulations, i'm a what is happening before my eyes speedway fan and only wish to know how a rider is doing in his sporting performance over this season. Eh? and ummmm lol so you're asking SCB to do what i've already done here? What is the point of scouring/ploughing through 10 teams averages - and trying to memorize them!!! - if you can see them all in a single list in this thread? I've still not had time to read up on the rules regarding the averages. But do i take it the top 5 will be interchanging all year long and taking it in turns if in the top three to mainly ride against the top riders in the team and if a second string mainly ride against the other second strings and the fast track riders/reserves? If so although it sounds a good idea for SCB to split his averages into heat leaders/second strings/reserves it's pretty pointless as a sporting indicator to form with a riders average being dependent on which particular cycle he's on....racing against the best riders of a team or the weakest! I'm still agog at how they are going to set team building averages next year (hell even ordering this season's lol). The reason i did split the Fast Track riders averages is because they are set to stay in their 6 and 7 positions over the whole season, therefore one can get a judgement of form. 'Screamer' you've totally lost me on all this adding extra a's etc what are you celebrating??? I can't get a handle on that at all? -

Aces clinging on for a nerve-wracking 4-2 for a lot of that race until they pulled away. I certainly think the match points system that was introduced is one of the best things for the sport in recent years. Before anyone says it's 'complicated' (eh! wow British Basic Mathematics education must have nosedived to astonishing depths) have you seen the scoring system for a cricket match! Great win by the Aces. -

Super result by the aces in heat 13. I think we needed Holder to not be on the top of his form in this meeting. Bearing in mind Poole's hot form so far this season i think the Aces do have a good chance off the play-offs on this performance and the draw at Wolves. -

Aces need their big guns to fire a hefty salvo in heat 11. Feared Wright would do the business when i saw him named as a guest. UPDATE: Yes a broadside from the Belle Vue boardsliders well done a great 5-1. -

Yeah i was commentating on the picture quality alone, the previous meetings have had the announcers crystal clear. But as i said speedway updates, or if you are in Poland (yes i know Pawel is in Canada lol) Sportowefakty will keep you abreast of any changes. I've not looked into that as i have lots of windows open so it's a fine size for me. -

Why given up on it? The picture quality is super. Pawel it's not meant to be a television broadcast with presenters and a studio OR even commentators. I'm happy to take it without any commentators and if you need rider change updates then Sportowefakty or the speedway updates will assist in that. I'm well chuffed we have it. -

Uh Oh people you know i just got to respond to this bloke in need lol lol ummmmm........ There's also the updates site and i'm sure Sportowefakty will be covering the meeting. 22-14 now who's the Manchester United of speedway Was better to see Cook get first and Nichols third in heat three as we know Scotty has been riding well and we need a return to form of the Cooksta. Scott upped his game next time out so it remains to be seen if Cook can keep ahead of the Poole big boys once they've corrected their track set-ups. -

Fast Track Riders
manchesterpaul replied to manchesterpaul's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yeah that's cool, i must have missed that post. Only thing is i've seen that section of the BSPA notes you refer to when it was first published and i was asking if it did include averages as it could read just the rankings are redone, then agian i hadn't/haven't seen the Morris post you mention. I also was of the mind they won't list averages unless riders have completed a certian amount of hame and away mathces. With the way fixtures are unevenly spread out for some riders that could take ages to find out how they are performing. Ummmm! where are the averages? -

Interesting update indeed, thanks. -
This match is scheduled for live streaming on Bet365 FREE AVAILABLE as of NOW! Direct download from the page, Monday, 28th, April, 2014. Local Time 7:30pm, BST 7:30pm, UTC/GMT 6:30pm MiniMax Racecard Elite League Belle Vue vs. Poole MiniMax Extended Racecard Elite League Belle Vue vs. Poole Not seen any official line-ups for this match. Nearest got to it was one in the Bournemouth Echo i think. The only iffy position would be the riding order of the Poole reserves, but Lee Smart does have the lower average, now whether a team manager can put his reserves in any order i don't know (he probably can). Anyways every source i've checked has the teams as printed for now. Will update them if ant solid changes are publicised. Looking forward to Stefan Nielsen clashing with Charles Wright, the latter could be a very prudent choice of guest.

Can't believe that the 'company' line of the weather was to blame for the low attendance filtered down to the Eurosport commentators. I thought the programme was over and was in another room but i heard that statement as i was returning. Gee so we take it that speedway supporters are wimps and cower indoors at the sight of rain? I've had lots of praise for Scott Nicholls and Andy Jaye they've been great, i don't lay any blame on them but they really did end up acting as a biased mouthpiece. I gonna move to North Korea for a superior semblance of see no evil, hear no evil etc.

That was horribly scary, Miedzinski clearly banged his head and seemed to have momentarily lost his equilibrium and was moving upon reflex, albeit falling all over the place, a bit like a boxer hit by a knock-out punch and they come around instantly. I'm pretty sure he was in a state of altered consciousness for a little while there? I think he should have a concussion test too.

Try reading just a page or two of the thread? We left that behind and are chatting about the racing* now lol. Only kidding but if you do go back a little you'll see why. *(ok and much trivia too) Very nice to see a super ride by Smolinski i didn't think he was going to to hold on, lucky we didn't have a fifth lap?
