Danish Championship Final
manchesterpaul replied to manchesterpaul's topic in International World of Speedway
I ran it through a different translator than Google. I don't know if you agree but i'm hazarding a guess that....after the 20th heat tomorrow the top 4 (points over 40 heats) riders go into the 'Final (Race)' for the actual championship? 'Tomorrow, Friday driven this year crucial DM-finale in fynske Fjelsted and it looks like a conflict between world Nicki pedersen and Denmark's new Grand Prix Star kenneth Bjerre. The two drivers, they both have 14 points from the first section of the DM and it is three more than their closest competitor his Andersen, which has 11 points. In tomorrow's finale driven 20 regular heat - and the four drivers who then has the most points (including the licensed points from the first chamber) meet in Finaleheatet.' EDIT Ok having another rethink right now. I've just gone into the actual regulations on the DMU site. Translated thus; Finaledag 1: DRIVEN ON 7 seats to SGP QUALIFICATION AND landstræneren have 1 place. Kørernes pointscore in heat 1 to 20 transferred to finaledag 2. Finaleheatet decide only the distribution of præmiepenge. The licensed points added to the second finaledags indkørte points in heat 1 to 20 and used in the classification of the total championship. • BETWEEN THE 4 up scorende from finaledag 1 and 2. driven finaleheat 21 points introduced in the conferred on the total score total and decide championship. • BY pointlighed after finaleheatet is the location in this crucial. From 'pointscore in heat 1 to 20 transferred to finaledag 2'. i'm hazarding a deducement that from the first meeting only the points earned in the 20 heats are transferred to the second leg. 'Finaleheatet decide only the distribution of præmiepenge.' clearly(?) states that the final in the first meeting was only for purposes of prize money. The second paragraph i think is saying that they total up the points scored over the 40 preceding heats and the top 4 go into the 'Final'. Then it appears that the points in tomorrow's final race are ADDED to the 40 heat total. Making the first leg final the only meaningless race points scoring wise. OK brain about to burst. Just realised that the article quoted earlier refers to Hans Andersen having 14 pts, which means that the points scored in the first leg final counted! Surely we have a danish supporter reading this thread?. Please pop to the championship regulations and put us all out of our misery before the start of the meeting. -

One of several webpage links Live Danish Speedway and might as well use it before it gets closed down a link direct for your Media Player Direct Stream. Regarding the latter, it's the type of link members on here should pass around via PM's and emails. As the broadcasters once alerted to it's publication often take steps to stop it being accessed. Unfortunately,it has been given on these forums openly a few times now. So, might as well display it for those who aren't aware of it to enjoy whilst we have it. Incidentally, so far (and as was the case with the great danish league match yesterday) there are no links for this meeting on the usual Sopcast page. -

If Alice In Wonderland was still knocking about i'm sure she would of said curioser and curioser about speedway's doing's at the moment. At least it's not as worrying bizzare as the recent helmet covers fiasco in Germany lol. Are there any danish fans can confirm what Iris has just stated. I'll presume it's the case if not. -
I'm looking forward to tomorrow's meeting which will be screened on the internet. Just need to know one thing in advance though if anyone can enlighten us all. I remember the first leg in May. It was run over the traditional 20 heat formula and then the top four raced in a final heat. I presume that total points earned over 40 heats and two finals wins the championship?. I can't remember if the points in the final were 3-2-1 or double as in the GP's. Can someone please clarify the method for deciding the winner.

Wow! Top Danish League Clash

Another nice, nice race with Pedersen and Andersen. I do fear that Belle Vue won't be able to hang on to Patrick Hougaard as he rapidly advances in the next couple of years. I've rated him very highly from last year alone. -

I've just got back home and am surprised at people not being able to do a little detective work to find a feed. I also was surprised to find a travel programme showing instead of speedway. However, it only took 2 minutes (if that) of Googling to find the 'live sports' stream. One example of the stream running right now is Live Danish Speedway The picture on that page, albeit small, is of startling quality. Incidentally, i'm watching it right now in full screen and fantastic quality also. Not a single stutter or anything remotely going wrong. It only takes a little engineering and detective work to extract the path to do that. I don't want to print it here as they will probably change it or make it harder to extract. UPDATE OK i've just seen 'DutchGrasstrack' has openly publicised the direct feed link that i was referring to being easyish to extract. I came back to say people could IM me for it. I held back from displaying it as, in common with other broadcasters, DK4 trawl forums for their direct feed link. As happened with the SGP the other year once they find it they bring in steps to stop people tuning in. Anyway, guess we can enjoy it whilst it lasts -
Lots of people on here probably used to enjoy the SGP for free on DK4 until they started shutting it down. However, they don't seem to restrict Danish speedway fixtures. At 9pm tonight there is a recording of this evenings fixture and looks to be a super match with top riders. I had already noticed the significance of it by looking at the league table and previous results. Additionally, i've just gone to a danish site and translated this (better than the Google effort lol). The key points are pretty self-explanatory. You can use WMP or anything to watch DK4. You don't need peer to peer software. Incidentally, the second round of the individual championship should be live on Sopcast etc. at 17:30 onwards UK time on Friday. The battle for gold - Nicki pedersen vs Hans Andersen when the's CHAMPIONS from Slangerup on Wednesday guests the earlier multiple CHAMPIONS from Holsted, it is a match, which could be crucial for the end ligamesterskab. Holsted is tophold and has in Wednesday's agenda any match just lost a single match (to just Slangerup), while Slangerup on league second has two defeat in the luggage. Holsted Speedway Klub Nicki Pedersen ( A ) Nicolai Klindt ( B ) Patrick Hougaard ( B ) Henrik Møller © Patrick Bjerregaard ( D ) Slangerup Speedway Klub Hans Andersen ( A ) Morten Risager ( B ) Kenneth Kruse Hansen ( B ) Henrik Vedel © Philip Tirsdal ( D )

Swedish Elitserien Round 14
manchesterpaul replied to Anders's topic in International World of Speedway
Don't get too wound up over tonight there was very little passing throughout the meeting. Although i would imagine the tomcio feed is considerably higher quality than the Sunday polish streams, the fact that you receive them without problem is complicating diagnosing the matter. I can only think it may point to a routing problem. Did you try flushing the DNS etc?. I know once when i was having a problem with a poker site they suggested to contact BT to reroute. However, i did the flushdns trick and it worked a treat. Coincidence or not i don't know?. Even simple things such as unplugging your router can sometimes work wonders. Again though, springing to mind is that Sopcast etc. give you good quality normally. But, that in turns points to bandwidth being restricted. It's hard for me to say as i don't know your ISP etc. There are two good days of danish speedway coming up, hopefully, you can receive those streams. -

Incidentally the full screen link is Full Screen Important note unlike normal streaming media and Windows Media Player etc the full screen mode does not nosedive in quality and is amazing. You can also feed it through to the biggest tv screen you can find. -

So sorry to hear that Bradford Ace. I'll have a look through your recent posts in various televised meets (Swedish/GP's etc.) Might help to do the same with mine as i've mentioned things to try to others recently. -

Just one week after i praised you for your invaluable weekly write-ups lol. Can you at least let us know which is the televised meeting? -
The Sopcast stream was absolutely fine at my end tonight as well. I only opted for the Tomcio stream because of the high quality in full screen. Maybe it's a bandwidth problem at Tomcio's end if it's ok on a Tuesday but not on the busier Saturday?. However, the snag with that scenario is the fact that where i am in England - or the area of England i'm in (Manchester) it ran superbly. We really need people to state where they are etc. when reporting problems with streams.
-
If it wasn't for the fact that, i think i am correct in saying, you don't have a problem with the high quality swedish feeds, i would have said this would be an indication of bandwidth problems with the tomcio feed being too high (because of it's quality). Not a reflection on your computer but more likely than not an ISP route blockage or traffic cap/throttle going on. Apart from the usual emptying the cache, i've often found when having a problem with any web link (not necessarily video) that doing a simple speedy 'flushdns' can work wonders. Also, fairly easy to do is ipconfig release and renew. At the moment i would be inclined to think it's possibly just the path of the route being taken? It's not really possible for me to hazard many more guesses without knowing more info. Obviously, it would help if next time it happens you check whether you can receive other high quality feeds from the web whilst the Tomcio one is freezing. At least then we can narrow down the possible causes significantly. EDIT: Just realised you mentioned feeds on Tuesday - which would be the swedish ones i presume?. Are you absolutely certain that your ISP does not restrict you in any way?. Over here in England 'unlimited' broadband is rarely unlimited. If not capping, if they traffic shape it would have similar results when trying to access the better streams in peak hours.
-
Did you try the link i gave?. Including this evening i've always found it as superb as i stated. Is it possible to let us know if you tried the link i referred to.

Hang on i've just backtracked through this thread. Initially i only looked atr this last page as i had previously read from the start. Going on the posts above i had taken it that Andreas Jonsson had pulled out of the Grand Prix. I went to the official site, with only a few minutes to go until the start of the meeting, and he is still listed in the heat by heats etc. I was coming back here to mention that it was very poor on their part. But having gone back through this thread there is no mention ofJonsson actually pulling out!.

Same time as the Grand Prix! I think even if i lived in Hungary i know which meeting i'd go to watch, even if the SGP was only witnessed via the television. Best of luck wth the crowd for the meeting and hope it goes well. -
This forecast has been very accurate in it's timings over the last few days i checked it. Dauvagpils Weather Station

Latvia Draw

Will we know the destination of the meeting, indeed the whole series, after the first race? Crump v Sayfutdinov the latter looks to be the only realistic challenger and a commanding win by the former will not bode well. -
