After heat 19 and Sky still slow working it out. Re-iterate Lindgren was already out. A Holder second or Lindback win puts Hancock out. Holder does not need to win, wake then up someone lol.

Something just came flying off a bike or rider in heat 14 (lap 2). Thought it was a steel shoe at first!. Half expected the riders to hit it next time round.

NIcki Pedersen a big diappointment this year. He had two good meetings scoring 17 and 16, outside of those 4, 9, 7, 3 and 1 after three rides here!

Heat 12 another great race after a lull for a couple of heats.

Not sure i share the faith of the tv commentators that two second places could see Hancock through to the semi-finals. There are already EIGHT different riders with a win ahead of him.

Thank you Malilla some good racing 'even' this early in the meeting. I think the tv cameras are providing excellent shots during the race, they seem well positioned.

Shame about the crash as we are looking set for a great GP racing wise. Plus, and no offence or dislike against him, but bet Hancock who was third wil likely win the re-run and make the chase for the championship nearing over. Still a nice crowd despite that big space on the backstraight.

Despite releasing the story on their website the BSPA haven't amended their tables. The MiniMax tables have reflected the SCB change of the result. Hopefully the BSPA will follow suit and i'm right to have updated the table? MiniMax League Tables The reversal of the result certainly has had a strong effect on the chase for the play-offs.

The Grand Prix system is superb at determining the true top rider in the sport. A one-off meeting as with the old World Finals meant a single engine failure, or any single piece of misfortune not of one's own making during a race would make null and void a whole season of the unquestionable rider in the sport being denied his reward. Also, the GP's means each country gets the associated increase in media attention tha tonly a single country would get. Additionally, a GP every second week creates more news and puiblicity than a single meeting does. So many UK newspaper sports editors are well piffed off they have to give over column inches more than once a year. Basically, every time a country stages a GP it results in publicity for the sport that, with the old single meeting system, only gave to one country once a year. Every round is in effect a World FInal publicity wise. Plus, main point being a far better system in deciding the World's top rider.
