Harris is certainly due some hefty pay days he's spent a lot of money this year with little return. Hope the riders finishing behind him have been of fair quality. Did you get any feedback as to whether the latter meeting is televised/online?
-
Nor forgetting Buxton, can be quite chilly there.
-
Thanks for the thanks you're welcome. ? Go on you hooked me, i'm intrigued, why? You got one of those Limousine things with a tv?
-
There was a headline in the 'media headlines' section on i think it's called aktuell spedway.se, or alternatively on spotofaktwe, with his name in a headline saying he was 'returning' today. So if it was that late a decision today as to actually riding that will be why no other news sources covered it to a large extent. By the way when they announced the team change on Premier Sports they said "more about that later".......but i went off to the loo, so don't know if they did indeed expand on the reasons for the change or not lol. Enjoy the meeting all!

Ahh i was wondering about Mathias Thörnblom coming in at number seven to replace Kim Aisling, I saw a report mentioning he was coming back, i think it was yesterday, but never saw it reproduced in any other source. RACECARDS HAVE BEEN UPDATED. Nice for a meeting to be delayed for once lol. AVAILABLE NOW FREE MiniMax Racecard MiniMax Racecard Elitserien Indianerna Vs. Dackarna

TV meeting racecard AVAILABLE NOW FREE MiniMax Racecard MiniMax Racecard Elitserien Indianerna Vs. Dackarna As usual some great riders on the telly, Antonio Lindback, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Hans Andersen, Kenneth Bjerre, Andreas Jonsson, Darcy Ward, Fredrik Lindgren plus Piotr Protasiewicz and Michael Jepsen Jensen all spread across a mere two teams. Wow like UK speedway from the 70's.

Thanks for the heads up on that Ghostwalker. I came here first ahead of scouring the Swedish media again. He has indeed also now stated on his Twitter account he is to ride after all. No biggie just re-inserted him back into the racecard. Hope the weather is good in Sweden, we all greatly look forward to our weekly fix of Elitserien.
-
The concensus of opinion from various Swedish media sources is indeed that rider replacement will be utilized. Therefore ahead of Ghostwalker's weekly Elitserien thread i'm letting you know that the FREE MiniMax Racecard for the televised meeting is available now. All Elitserien MiniMax racecards below are initially available with the officially announced provisional line-ups. I will then check for any changes shortly before the match commences and make any amendments accordingly. It's your choice as to whether you wish to print out on the provisional line-ups or wait for any last minute changes. So if you're watching live or recording the meeting you can directly download the racecard from the following page.... AVAILABLE NOW FREE MiniMax Racecard MiniMax Racecard Elitserien Indianerna Vs. Live Danish Speedway On Tv
manchesterpaul replied to MrMungo's topic in International World of Speedway
It's to be hoped that few Danish Speedway fans are Football fans to as in addition to the clash above the Danish Grand Prix on Saturday 9th June shares a time slot with DENMARK v HOLLAND. I'm English but i'll certainly be glued to the football matches on the tv. Let's hope that the Speedway fans are fervent enough to still attend the two meetings. -

Ok i got to dash off straightaway. Nice to see a populated back straight and other parts of the ground. It was a satisfying another day, another country, another speedway stream. I wonder how the racing was in the batch of heats at the start of the meeting that wasn't broadcast? Hee hee just seen interview and Nicki ditched his tash already. Must have got negative feedback on that. -

Madsen took advantage of a last bend slip-up then we have a close match all of a sudden. Yeah a few places in the US got hit late last night too. Although i was only a little lad, i remember the annual British League Riders Championship at Belle Vue's Hyde Road track used to have some pretty good motorcades. Those were the days 20,000-25,000 crowd and the line-up usually stronger than the World Final itself. So loved that stadium for years, it led into the massive Belle Vue amusement park and zoo, met lots of girls from all over the country there........in the AMUSEMENT PARK, NOT THE ZOO lol. Errrrm do not scroll! -

Maximum points claimed with it, probably only delays the inevitable though. Ok whilst the tractors are doing their thing i having fun with the sexy voiced lady on Google translate. I getting her to say all sorts of things* in different languages she could make the weather forecast sound x-rated. *(what???......i only getting her to say "Hello Paul how is the weather in Manchester today") -

Yeah i would have thought it highly unlikely. I'll leave it on in the background with the volume turned up just in case and toddle off to do other things. It was always going to have a lot to live up to in order to match the Swedish meeting last night. Then again any speedway is good speedway especially from overseas. UPDATE.......it's on These commentators are stunningly laid back, i just missed a heat then as i was emailing and had another window open and their 'commentary' gave absolutely no indication of a race going on. I just saw them cross the line as i switched back. Hey! just had a horrific thought.......if women's libbers catch on to speedway we might be forced to watch start line men with every alternate heat lol nooooooo -

OK over to you now as they are talking Danish about the speedway. I did my bit it your turn now. I wonder if Ole Olsen is in charge of the stream as he's usually behind messing up our speedway entertainment lol. -

Hi all......i'll scribble down what it's saying (or take a screenshot it's tickering fast lol) and put it through Google translate unless a Great Dane can please beat me to it. Before i do that just realized the start of it is likely saying server problem. Also, 'forbindelsen' looks similar to the German 'verbinden' (connect) Screenshot was easiest way to do it and....."vi har desvaerre problemer med forbindelsen til speedway, vi vender tilbage til holstedt hurtigst muligt" "Unfortunately, we have a problem connecting to the speedway, we return to holstedt soon as possible" I wonder if Ole Olsen is in charge of the stream as he's usually behind messing up our speedway entertainment lol. -

Interesting clash with the European Football Championships as at 5pm BST/ 4pm UTC DENMARK vs. PORTUGAL -
Their website also has for the week after Piraterna vs. Vastervik (12 June).

I did ask it seriously last week i think, if the very top riders earn most of their money in retainers/whatever instead of points, only one sees quite often poor performances from GP riders in Elitserien in a GP week. Agree all riders earn their pay as such. I presume your storm has subsided Alan? Very pleased with the meeting today. Been some very good ones so far this season and it's got a long way to go, never mind the play-offs. Just hope that all these away wins and close home wins don't mean landslide home wins in the return matches in the latter half of the season. Yeah i hope to get back home in time for the Danish meeting tomorrow.
-
Don't forget there is a meeting in Poland tomorrow that might change that to a fair old extent? "Specifically, the team developed Enea Extraleague Financial Regulations for the top division in Poland, which aims to reduce players' salaries and expenses speedway teams. Is this the end of the financial Polish "El Dorado"? On Wednesday, the shareholders meeting will be held Enea Extraleague. It is possible that during this meeting have been approved a resolution that aims to reduce spending Polish clubs for players and teams. Shareholders will be able to make a decision, under which, on the one hand the players wages will depend on the medium computed matches (KSM) at the end of the season, on the other club shall not exceed a certain threshold of spending on the team." There was quite a lenghty article in Spotowefakty the other day. Also, today there is one going into great detail of riders potential earnings in 2013.

Heat 13 what racing! Update Heat 14 what racing!!
-
I hope quoting one's self isn't classed the same as talking to one's self But regards what i said before the meeting, MJJ is doing his part for the home side in his first three rides and the unbeaten Hampel and Sayfutdinov who has only dropped one point to opposition are doing the same. Will Jason Crump be the weak link? Update Crump another poor show in heat 10. Heat 9 another great race in this Elitserien season on tv.
-
Keep yourself and family safe mate. Although, if a stormchaser is nearby i'll ask them on the IRC to go past your abode and you can wave to a fellow speedway fan
-
I been holding my tongue on that lol. Mind you, unlike Belle Vue, Coventry do at least (eventually) run their meetings. The match possibly needed that 5-1 just now.
