MiniMax Racecard 2012 World Cup RACE OFF, Malilla, Sweden. (Thursday, 12th, July, 2012) The teams for this will be confirmed after practice on Thursday and the racecard willl be available shortly afterwards for direct download from the racecard page below. http://speedway.manc.../racecards.html Note to preempt tantrums and arguments As in previous years with the World Cup and Speedway Grand Prix a couple of days ahead i start a thread letting fans know the MiniMax racecards will be available and then update it once they are online. I'm continuing with the same format of the titling of the SGP and SWC racecard threads as i have done over the years. As with every league match or speedway meeting across the forums since forums and time began it simply makes it easy to spot and pick a racecard for specific meetings,. As it should be, all is cool with me if others drop theirs in to make a list, also all is cool if everyone decides to make their own threads, absolutely fine.

Surely it's a no-brainer to use your top rider Joker in the lowest scorer's race? -

Ouch there's a thought. But we are supposed to be getting a true racing track here in Manchester. Don't forget the FIM in the SGP have recently ditched a good racing track with packed crowds in favour for a big city venue and sparse crowds. -

Only downside with this so far great performance is that we'll be pegged back no doubt by a 6 point Aussie joker. But best to be leading things can go wrong with a Joker ride. Those raindrops look big Massive win by Nicholls, won by a few furlongs lol. Come on King you should have the beating of Wolbert get after him! I don't suppose #1 that........Sky Sports News are doing what they often do with their other live sports and mentioning the score whilst telling viewers it's a great meeting live now on SS2. I don't suppose #2 that........BBC News who gave the first SIXTEEN minutes of their news bulletin over to the coverage of the LOSING British tennis player will give even a mention should GB win this meeting. Anyway whatever they are the ones missing out on great entertainment, let's just enjoy. -

Biggest betting market for the bookmakers is what heat GB will use their joker in, i think heat 3 the favourite lol. Ok must think positive i take that back. Wonder if we'll hear the anthem again at the end of the meeting, one can only hope. Well done Woffinden. By rights Chris Harris should put GB in front now in heat 3. Wow now that was GOOD. Heat 4 even better, what a grand year of speedway we are enjoying on tv. -

This triple chanting is getting way out of hand if the first chant from the crowd is "HASSE, HASSE, HASSE" -

It's on Darcy Ward's Twitter. I want a steward's inquiry on the photo finish as to who posted first lol. -

If Darcy Ward doesn't ride would it likely have any effect on the attendance or not remotely so? -
Thanks for the knowledge always appreciated. IMPORTANT NOTICE I've just had a quick glance at the server stats counter and notice that there have already been hundred upon hundreds of visits this morning (and yesterday post meeting). I can only presume they are for tonight's card. Please note i was not intending to put up a card up until the team announcements which are supposed to be half an hour after practice ends - scheduled to end 14:00 BST. I will make them available instantly the teams are known.

With no reserves it seems an awful risk to take. If he receives a knock on it or in the cut and thrust of an actual race it doesn't hold out it's going to be a struggle. Then again unless GB are riding out of their skin tonight i guess Australia can give a man advantage to the other three teams. Aha! i knew it started at 12 but was wondering how long it goes on for. -
Looks like Darcy not making his mind up until after practice tomorrow (12:00 BST) so i'll hold back the card until then. Immediately the teams are announced i'll put it on the server as hopefully the line-ups will be forthcoming shortly after practice. For the benefit of fans one hour ahead of the UK on the European mainland, If there is a delay in the announcement i'll put a provisional card up with, as suggested elsewhere by 'Pandorum', a blank space for Darcy Ward. That will enable those who print out the cards at work etc. to do so. For those who can wait until teams are confirmed i would suggest doing so in case it's not a straight swap for Darcy Ward and they reshuffle the team riding order as well.

Fingers crossed the weather should be fine and apparently has moved on from us to Sweden, more specifically near Malilla, which now has the heaviest rainfall in the whole of Europe 'Ghostwalker' gives a link in another thread http://www.svt.se/nyheter/sverige/mariannelund-oversvammat-av-skyfall Google Translation of part of it 'Målilla received in respect of the most rainfall in Europe In Målilla there have been 110 millimeters of rain over the past days. In Målilla there havebeen 110 millimeters of rain over the past days. Most in Europe.' Back to King's Lynn, i've checked several weather sites and the concensus right now is that all should be well. -

But.....how many MORE great races would we have had with a grippy track? I think organizers are scared of riders injuring themselves resulting in heats with 3 or 2 riders in and so are trying to make a track surprise proof. King's Lynn should be interesting in it's set-up. Is it my selective memory or has that track been one of the most dreadful for injuring riders be it in a meeting or practice? -

Not me i back very early from planned night on the beer. Good job got a well stocked bar at home for a night of sport still ahead. Regarding the repeated "WOOFY WOOFY WOOFY" Hasse is innocent it a clear case of WOOFY hacking Hasse's BSF account!
