  1. I would invest in some new Tarot Cards and even a new Crystal Ball
  2. email from Godfrey And Seemond We have this morning (Friday 23/11) received an email from St Boniface College Business Manager Kerri Snell indicating that a letter is currently in preparation, and should be mailed at close of school business today, offering the consortium an agreement to continue to run Premier League speedway at the St Boniface Arena in 2013. Whilst the i s will need to be dotted and the ts crossed we believe that the offer will be based on discussions hheld at the College on Tuesday. At this time we would like to thank everyone at the College for their help in making the dream return to life and hope that this is the begining of a long relationship between us. We must also thank the British Speedway Promoters Association who have delayed our declaration deadline in order that we could continue to consult with the College on the lease and in particular BSPA Chairman Alex Harkess who has been working very hard in the background to help ensure a positive outcome, we are very grateful for all their work. In anticipation of a positive outcome we have persuaded former Devils Commercial Manager Brian Cave to end his retirement and he will once more be actively seeking new sponsors, as well as hoping to rekindle the enthusiasm of the sponsors from years past, last years team manager Lee Trigger will also be returning. However we regret we will be unable to offer him a package comparable with that offered by Chelsea football club to their new manager. Finally, we must not forget the work put in over the past 7 years by Mike Bowden and thank him for his patience over the past few months, without his enthusiasm the sport would never have returned to Plymouth.
  3. AGM statement. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.18554
  4. Please Sir is the answer to 3 Speedway.
  5. Phil Snafu sent PM to you on here and E/Mail sent fingers crossed.
  6. http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/National-League-return-frame-Devils/story-17197410-detail/story.html Bowden said: "The track is there, I'm still there and have the (promoter's) licence and we have a very, very good fan base. Thats what I like = being taken for granted........
  7. Strange how on the same day the rumour mill starts to pump out new things. And we got slapped for rumours. N/L and at least one rider named already for 2013. Again we ask who does start these rumours???????
  8. E/Mail sent to you, and we should have you up and running in no time....Sorry for any inconvenience.
  9. Forum running fine. http://plymouthdevils.proboards.com/index.cgi?
  10. All land within the boundry belongs to the college. Rugby pitch an all.
  11. http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/Consortium-bid-Devils-home/story-17165943-detail/story.html The consortium have been offered a year's lease but say it is not long enough to properly develop the club's home track, the St Boniface Arena. "The college were looking to sell the land and what we don't want is to have a one-year lease and have to move on again. As you can now see their intent in black and white. You can lease it for one year but after that, one way or another we are selling the land and we have interested parties that we have already been talking to, hence our actions of save our track. No doubt the facts will be disputed by a certain person, but facts are facts.
  12. I know I had a blond moment realised as soon as I pressed return...Sorry.
  13. Sainsburys Marshmills built completely on Marsh reclaimed land. http://www.panoramio.com/photo/4995193 and the little map on the right shows just how close it still is to the tide line. Brain cells do come in useful when used properly. And as you are well aware the Speedway track is just across the road still on the same MARSH LAND.
  14. So the board of governers of St Boniface are making up rumours. Seemond Stevens and Godfrey Spargo are making up rumours. Need some time to come to a conclusion as to who to listen to.....Nope all done....Letters all sent.
  15. More than happy for that. This is like a template, alter and use as needed. Thank you.
  16. Dear Sir. I am an avid follower of speedway in Plymouth and could not have been more excited when the sport returned to Plymouth after such a long absence. I know we are going through a period where it would be advantageous to all concerned if the sport could move on to better things, and the new consortium has generated greater enthusiasm and excitement, for a new venture and a new beginning. There is an average of eight hundred to one thousand every Friday night that stand and enjoy the thrills and excitement generated by this family sport, and that is one of the major factors, it is a family sport. All of the fans appreciate that the land is owned by the St Boniface College, and in doing so have the right to control the activities that take place upon this land. We hear rumours of a possible sale of the land to a Super Market chain. But we have only one outlet for Speedway in this wonderful town of Plymouth, but have hundreds of outlets for Super Markets, please do not give them another, and leave us with nothing again for another thirty to forty years. Your College shows good sporting activities and outward bound activities, please help us keep our family sporting activity within the Plymouth city boundaries. We need this new consortium to inject new life and ideas into the sport in Plymouth, for the benefit of the sport and the City of Plymouth. Yours sincerely Copy and paste the above and E/Mail to:--mailbox@stbonifaces.com Or by post to :-- St Boniface's Catholic College 21 Boniface Lane Manadon Park Plymouth Devon PL5 3AG United Kingdom This is a letter that has been asked for to round up some enthusiasm and some action.
  17. "Was told tonight that Bowden’s promoters license has been revoked" It is not the first time this Bandwagon has gone around the block. Untill something comes out that can be confirmed I will keep my feet firmly on the ground.
  18. There was no dispute with riders tonight. The police were not there for any reason concerning riders with disputes over pay or anything else.
  19. Devils boss Bowden set to sell up to consortium http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/Devils-boss-Bowden-set-sell-consortium/story-16943148-detail/story.html
  20. http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/Devils-riders-troubles-Hold/story-16919756-detail/story.html "Basically, the riders get paid when I do. One club has just sent us their payment after a month. Another cheque turned up on Friday. How I'm supposed to cash that with the weekend in between I'm not sure?
  21. http://plymouthdevil...isplay&thread=2 Follow the red lines. Top left is park and ride car park. The other is the road leading down to the track under the bridge where people park if there early enough. Dont go to far forward as there are double yellows just before the bridge. The yellow is the walk way down to track.
  22. Consortium bid to buy speedway's Devils http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/Consortium-bid-buy-speedway-s-Devils/story-16836694-detail/story.html
  23. lets just say whats in the paper is (my word) wrong. cant use his. He (Ben) made contact as he knew nothing about this and that is when he came back and said all is sorted still in, and paper ****. Thats all I know. Very true NJT its what FACILITY is granted that matters.
  24. I agree and that is why I posted he would have to re declare again if allowed to do so. I am only going on the rider himself stating "all is as was and he is in" which he himself stated.
