PLYMOUTH WELCOME SIMON NIELSEN AND RELEASE CHRIS SCHRAMM Issued 25th June Devils Team Manager Lee Trigger and Co Promoter Ashley Taylor have confirmed that Plymouth will shortly have a new rider. Hopefully in time for Fridays home meeting with Berwick. 22 year old Danish rider Simon Nielsen formally of Workington and Leicester, will come into the Devils line up as a direct replacement at reserve for Chris Schramm who has been released of his services at Plymouth. "It's never nice to tell a rider he's not required, especially when it came to Chris as he was probably the most likeable guy you would ever meet who always gives 100% with his effort and commitment. We have been monitoring rider's performances and have decided to go in a different direction with our team," We would to thank Chris for his time with us and wish him well for the future" "We have redeclared the team with the BSPA (on Monday), and cannot see any problems, Leicester have given us permission to use Simon we are grateful to them." said team manager Lee Trigger.

Somerset Vs Plymouth 29/03/13
keyham replied to SomersetBlue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Access in and out of the Arena has just been upgraded and is all down to beyond the pay booth. Then it is on round the back of bend 1 & 2 on your left to see a Burger Van. Just infront of the Burger Van is a seperate area for disabled with yellow barrier round it. I myself am just outside this on my buggy as all the crowd we are with would fill the disabled bay on its own.I believe the new stand on the back straight is now open for use and will be a great view point if you wish to be seated. Now the difficult part of parking. We used to park on the road outside but last week in their wisdom they painted double yellow lines there so there is going to be sum annoyed punters on Saturday night. Best I can do is point you in this direction.:--http://www.plymouthd...to-find-us.html and you can take a look at the photos of the parking areas at the Arena....Hope some of this helps and you have an enjoyable visit. -
Speedway G.P Round 1 will be shown live on Eurosport 1 @ 3am Saturday Morning....... First Replay will be Eurosport 2 @ 10:30am Saturday Morning..... A second replay will be shown Eurosport 1 @ 9pm Saturday Evening.....

You have to support the ideas of the promotion and the team manager. It is a very rare occurrence that a team that starts a season finishes that season intact, no matter where they are positioned come the end. Changes will happen, for whatever reasons as the season progresses, but the main objective is complete. We are at the starting tapes come March. Whoever puts on a bib for any team should be given the chance to prosper and grow, and shown positive backing from all of their supporters, then as the season progresses, there will be ample opportunity to pass comment on how you see things are developing.

Plymouth Devils Open Evening. There will be an open evening at The Vale (formerly the Mermaid) at Eggbuckland on Thursday December 20th at 7.30pm when the promoters, team manager, supporters club will be in attendance and hopefully the new team will be named on this evening. Please come along and show your support and offer any help you may be able to give in any shape or form and make Plymouth Speedway something we can all be proud of and get right behind all the lads who wear the devils bibs in 2013.
