With the sun out over here in east anglia, it makes me recall the great days spent over in Cardiff for the gp, it always seems to be sunny ? in and out of a few bars, loads of people about, street entertainment going on. Oh and after all that you have the speedway to look forward to which is always entertaining, some more than others, but never regretted going once. Roll on Cardiff......

excellent turn out last night, it was packed. Nothing said about the court case while I was there, cant be to much of an issue, otherwise things would be put on hold surely, perhaps there will be some limitations but speedway will continue I would presume.???

The new website looks really good ! plus the news about another signing will happen this Saturday.... good news...

Hopefully there will be a good turn out at the fans evening next Saturday, perhaps another new signing might be unveiled? looking forward to it and the prospect of some entertaining racing on Sunday afternoons in the sun ! roll on the start of the season.

I lost some desire to go to Mildenhall last season, but am really excited about the return. The team that will be running it certainly have experience, so should be great. Lets hope it all runs well, looking forward to the season now....well done and good luck to all involved.

I know this has been said a hundred times but if I bought a house next to a pub, then I would/should have to expect some noise at closing time, perhaps a bit of fowl language?? tough luck the pub was there when i purchased my property?? Or I move back to Mildenhall and decide the planes are a bit noisy?? again the base hasnt moved so tough luck on me... IF a new application goes in to build a pub or another runway, then I have good reason to complain and voice my objection, but not if it was clearly there when I moved in, the blame would solely lie with me and I should have looked at the area more before purchasing my home....

I have said before Dave Coventry has pretty much full control over the Fen Tigers future, as the only place they can race is at his stadium. No matter how much that may upset some people thats the fact. Dave can set the rent at what he desires and if no promoter can make a go of it at those rates then speedway isnt viable at Mildenhall, there are no alternatives that I can think off? Unless someone can gain a piece of land somewhere close by and gain planning permission and start from scratch again, then Dave is firmly in the driving seat. I hope that a team can be put together again and run at Mildenhall, but in the current climate, with crowds down at most sports clubs, then I think it will be difficult.

I suppose though if the BSPA made a decision on who should promote Mildenhall Speedway, then for whatever reason Dave Coventry doesnt get on with them, finacially/personnally/ ?? then no speedway for Mildenhall again. Dave Coventry is in the driving seat as there are currently no other places to race. Might aswell let him find someone who he can agree terms and feel comfortable with from the outset, then those individuals have to be cleared by the BSPA to run speedway. If there were options for venues then it could be totally in the hands of the BSPA, but without Dave Covenrty/Mildenhall stadium, then there is no speedway to talk about.

I would think a babysitter is in order or dont go ! my advice is, its to loud for a two year old.... just my opinion...

Anyone know where to locate a spreadsheet for the programme at Cardiff. Last year someone put a post and link on here to somewhere to find one. I could do with saving myself £8.Any help appreciatted.

If you leave it to vocal support, it would be deathly quiet, as speedway fans very rarely start singing ?? except for the barmy army... i think the airhorns add to the whole experience.

Have to agree that the stadium last night at Torun was excellent and a excellent track to race on. However I cant believe some people dont think Cardiff is an excellent day out ? someone said "overpriced" ?? compared to many other sports top events or music concerts, its priced really well IMO. The atmosphere is great, in and around the stadium in the bars and clubs. the track isnt as good as Torun, but thats going to be the case witha temp track, however the ruts actually make for interesting racing sometimes, ask Chris Harris when he won ? I cant wait for 3 weeks time...

What did anyone else think about the european grand prix last night ? I thought it was excellent, superb racing with lots of over taking and only one crash all night when Emil had no chance.. roll on Cardiff and all the other Grand prix's..
