What a result ! just got on to find out the score, I hoped Heeps would have a better night and it looks like he did, also strength in depth must have played a part. Roll onm this afternoon for round 2 !

I thought Lambert was lucky to stay in the re-run, but I am a Mildenhall supporter so probably going to be a bit biased. However the way I saw it was that the majority of the crowd didnt like what lambert did, accidentally or whatever, a large majority of the crowd then gave Lambert some abuse, he reacted by sticking his finger up to the stand and taunting fans and basically offering to fight them ?? although difficult in the heat of the moment, he should have just walked back to the pits and went about his business to re-focus and get back out in the re-run. Being a sportsman is going to be difficult sometimes when rival fans give you abuse (wrongly or rightly) but you can't then get tangled up with those fans in a slanging match. Cantona did it once and got banned for a while. Watching the fence fall down near the people the other side was unpleasant and shouldnt have happened, luckily no one was hurt. The actual banter in the crowds with the singing was quite enjoyable I thought, but the riders just need to laugh it off and show what they can do on the track. Riding wise Lambert was excellent again and you would have thought he would find a PL place next year. Halsey's passing in two separate races was awesome, man of the match in my view. Thats my view

Question for anyone in the know ! if Heeps is now out for a while, will Mildenhall be able to get a guest rider in ? If after the isle of white meeting he was going to move to say number 1? can we guest a rider up to his new average ? or how does that all work ?

Dont know if you were there yesterday or not, but Heeps ride to block Atkin was excellent, especially as he's only 15! Lambert rode really well yesterday also.

Yep I do watch my local team ! and funny enough we have the same problem every other track has when it rains, and all the disapointment that can bring. However with regard the GP which is what I was talking about, I have only ever managed it via Cardiff ? I've been there 5 times and as I stated part of the attraction is that it will never be rained off.

Exactly, one of the plus points, and there are many to Cardiff is that you don't have to spend ages watching the weather forecast days before hand, and also on the day looking up in the sky wondering wheter the rain will hit or not. The roof makes it thatmuch more relaxing, specially when you have travelled across the country to be there. I for one would like it to remain at Cardiff.

He has been cleared to ride by the BSPA. Thats what really counts. Roll on this weekend Cardiff & Mildenhall.

I personally dont think there needs to be much pre-entertainment ? the gp is more than enough excitement... When you go to a top football match at Wembley, what pre-entertainment do you get then ? not much.... The only event that I can think of that has a large pre-half time entertainment is the superbowl, but that is watched by millions if not billions?? Mt ticket cost £29 and I cant wait..... nice one roll on Cardiff and the whole weekend.

I always bring this one up around this time.Does anyone know where I can print off a blank GP racecard for Cardiff, then I usually fill it in on the day with the riders order/numbers. I know some people produce one on the day before but I will have already travelled by then and can't print one off. Any help is appreciatted. Thanks
