  1. I here this is a good signing? I have heard his name mentioned but never seen him ride (i dont think) whats everyone else opinion?
  2. I would have thought as long as they are Junior then they should be able to ride?
  3. Anyway can't wait to see Cameron Heeps in action at Mildenhall this season, at least he can start from the begining this season ! great addition to the national league........ (that should do it) .........
  4. I would say the best speedway I have ever witnessed happened last year in the play off finals ! doubt that will ever be repeated. As long as the racing is entertaining, good track and run well, I dont personally care which league its in...
  5. yeah cheers refereerick always a difficult decision I would have thought to judge the entrance fee, any changes etc etc. Personally I am happy to pay £12 for entrance, to what was last year some of the best entertainment I have seen at Mildenhall for sometime. Then for me as an added bonus the two kids get in free ! so overall its cheaper (for me and anyone else with children). As its advertised as a family sport, and its imperative to get kids to attend so they become tomorrows loyal supporters, this is a good move. I was speaking to someone yesterday and said the main thing is, does Mildenhall Speedway offer great value? do the meetings run on time? medical cover ready and waiting? a much improved track? (no blue lines) the answer to all the above last year was YES, so I have no reservations about the entrance fee.
  6. For me its gone down about 8% ish, from £26 to £24 ! result....
  7. agree Phil top bloke, what I knew of him.
  8. Is this the new name for the Buxton Hitmen? "Team Buxton"?
  9. I have watched a few clips of him on you tube and he looks in control, so Im certain he will be fine, good luck to him.
  10. surely Heeps has raced in a league at Mildenhall ? that would count as league experience? not PL but still league racing....
  11. This is my fault, Mr Barton (I am nearly as dogmatic and awkward as a certain close relative of yours ) My apologies, and I look forward to the pleasure of your comapny again this season. Happy New year Chris, look forward to seeing you again soon at Mildenhall. As for the team I think Halsey is a steal on his average, he looked excellent towards the end of the season. Nielson looked good to me when he was at Mildenhall so Im certain he will improve with Louis,Henry, Jolly and Lee to guide him? Jacobs wasnt that impressive last season not a patch on previous seasons when I have watched him, his head always seemed down and he never looked happy? hopefully he will get back to his old self. Why that was Im unsure. Whats Robert Lambert like ? i here he is supposed to be quite useful ? 3 pointer ?? to improve his average? perhaps another Heeps is out there?
  12. Mildenhall have signed as expected Stefan Nielson and Lewis Blackbird, along with Heeps and Halsey, they also expect Jacobs to be fit to complete our top 5. Reserves to be announced shortly.
  13. but its all on the Mildenhall 2012 thread ? isnt it? perhaps it should be on its own thread ?
  14. amazing that in this NL forum, Mildenhall top the charts with most replys and interest, great to see the interest in the Fen Tigers ! roll on the new season.
  15. not bad for a thread that had gone quiet, i mention Heeps average and we get over 30 posts! It was only a tongue in cheek comment, but it actually would help Mildenhall if we could get his average reduced to around 8
  16. yeah around 40 but just over, perhaps Heeps average will be looked at and reduced, that would be fair.....
  17. Hopefully there might be some announcement with regard team building soon, as stated in the last press release? before new year? I had heard about the possibility of Nielson, Jacobs, Blackbird, A Basesby and another??? perhaps someone from press and practice as last year.
  18. SKY would have paid top money for that meeting !!! unbelievable still can't quite believe what went on....
  19. What happened today probably shouldnt have !! but what a meeting, it was unbelievable. Obviously to get so close and to then just lose was difficult to take, but all credit to Scunthorpe. Mildenhall can be very proud of themselves.
  20. doesnt look that way tigers currently 37 29 up..... come on mildenhall Further update Mildenhall KO CUP WINNERS......................
  21. i think Mildenhall will win all 3 meetings.....
