Just to put it out there. Did anybody see the scores last night from Sheffield v Ipswich? The Leicester reserves who got an amazing 24 points between them on Monday, got 8 last night. Why's that? Because they were riding against like for like riders in their championship positions in the team, hence they didn't find it so easy. The meeting last Monday was a joke but definitely not a fix. What would happen if you put a team of Jan Graverson's againt a team of conference riders. The same thing!

Exactly!!!!! And they are still pouring out the crap in interviews. Don't treat us like we came down with the last lot of rain

This meeting has been forced on both teams. Neither is riding in the premiership next season. But Lakeside and Ipswich will be!!

What a circus!!! Kelvin and Nigel might be trying to entertain new supporters ( not that there will ever be any with this farce). But I hate to tell you that we all already know that neither team will be in the premier next season. And for Christ sake stop going on about the Leicester reserve riders have 12 points between them. Of course they have they are middle order riders in the championship. It's like watching WWF Wrestling nothing is real!!!

Nice to see Plymouth making a great start to the season. Just like Sheffield they were both written off before the season had started and have both made great starts.

Someone said they were practising around Sheffield too last night!!! I received a text which read " open your door and you will hear them". Thats probably because they know its gonna be chucking it down all day Thursday!!

Just lots of the usual rumours flying round and they aren't anything to do with speedway, unless they are gonna ride on a running track!!!

Think it could be the end because Sheffield Eagles are showing a liking in wanting to bring Rugby to Owlerton!!

As soon as i mentioned the old folks home and an old rider/manager, my dad said straight away it was 'Peddlar Palmer. When my dad first started going to the speedway he said he was the manager then (around the time of Wilf Jay(i think he said)). My dad said that he did know that at one point he was living on Herries Road,Sheffield with his daughter. My dad knew quite a few of them from Sheffield speedway as he was originally a track grader and went on to be the announcer for years and my mum was also the beauty queen in the 60's. I believe Gladys (Frank Vareys wife) is also well as my mum and dad got there annual christmas card and she too is of a grand age.

I am with everybody else here something is most definately fishy.This is one big fix,what a shame.Also a shame that Tatum and Pearson are excited about it, i thought they were knowledgeable but they just think the poles are fantastic lets get the equipment checked!!!!!

To all the management ,riders and fans of Birmingham Speedway its a real shame we are gonna lose you to the Elite league,but good luck and show them up there what speedway racing is all about. Now please bug**r of into the Elite section. Good Luck!!
