I hope that the gaps created by the refusal of the wildcards will be made up by the riders who competed in the GP qualifiers? Only seems fair to me.

Agreed. Did help that GB were in the mix and ended up winning, but doesn't gloss over the fact that these two meetings have been pretty dire as a spectacle. Think tonight was worse than monday. Is it too late to change the final to Somerset or Scunny??

Watched the whole meeting and thought it was decent. Some good races and close scoring which kept it interesting, but some of the comments on this thread are making out it was the best thing since sliced bread? In comparison to the crap we are used to on Sky this was an improvement and a decent advert for the sport, but to rave about it seems a bit ott to me.

Should be Team England. The sooner we can distance ourselves from the Sweaty Socks and Sheep Shaggers, the better!..

Did seem to get bunched in, but didn't seem to fight very hard into the first turn. In fact he appeared to shut off the throttle and let the others go. Good meeting so far and a lot look very hungry indeed. Should be a corker after a few more heats.
