  1. Unfortunately if meetings clash with our grasstrack commitments we can't attend unless we run a njl team as well and Richard Hollingsworth decides to pick a certain young rider then it's a different story
  2. Brilliant news Sunday's don't suit us as Mr Moorwell knows but at least I have chance to go to 50% of the meetings instead of 100% chance of going to none. Long live the mighty scorpions
  3. I believe a draft will happen in some form but don't think points will be reduced hence the potential for stronger teams when a guaranteed three pointer is in the team
  4. Top day track was good some good young talent on show hope Sam darroch is ok after his Nasty looking tumble. Thanks to all who ran the event.
  5. Hi Kevin please could you book in Luke Harrison for the 125 youth novice please will also text you
  6. Yep seen his scores at worky don't think scunny suits him he tends to ride one line which is no good at the ewr as they just ride round you
  7. You obviously haven't seen Matt Williamson he's been less than competitive at scunny but he is a trier and always shows up
  8. I'm sure your right their but how many and will they be protected
  9. Well if that's the case let's hope crowds go up with the influx of migrants
  10. So reading back some think the status quo should remain ie 7 man teams some think six man teams some think plenty of riders some think not enough and some think race nights are the problem, each individual has a valid point in most cases, so based on this how are the promoters meant to decided what's best for the future given each and everyone will have a differing view based on their own business model
  11. And that's the point injured rider out long term constant guests rr and no rider to fill that space hence lack of riders.
  12. The start of the season is never an issue really it's 6 weeks in when injuries take there toll that becomes the issue. No riders sat waiting to fill the gaps and most that are brought in are already riding for different teams and in different countries and not available to fulfil all of the fixtures for the said team.
  13. Right could somebody please explain why they think there are enough riders when most teams are using double ups rr or guest please don't use the racing same night argument as we know race night can't always change due to teams racing in rented accommodation
  14. Agree RR is part of the sport but it's not a good side to it surely something has to be done to reduce it not a great believer in it. Reduced team numbers altered format has to be a start let's face we all believe the sport needs change so why not be radical. For me I would like 6 man teams non of your changes because the reserve is going well and somebody else isn't so he has 7 rides. Track reserves for an injured rider only thing I would say if a heat leader gets injured in his first heat two of his rides taken by othe heat leaders one by reserve and one by the track reserve.
  15. Like the British bit but surely with the amount of doubling up and guests and rr there's a shortage even before Injuries take hold
  16. Just been browsing a few topics on 2016 teams and everybody seems to be picking 7 man teams. Surely with the constant lack of riders and use of the dreaded guest and Mr R/R is it a good time to go to six man teams which gives everyone 5 rides during a meeting and increases rider availability . Or are we going to plump for more of the same
  17. Heartbroken at that result however got to say what a good meeting it was with some tremendous racing
  18. It was something like that I would suggest getting someone to ride who was always going to be there in one capacity or another is a good business decision
  19. Can't disagree there but come on if this was something out of the ordinary I could see the point in moaning about it but let's face it this is custom and practice so no need to keep havin a hissy fit
  20. Shrimmy I was thinking the same the kid goes on and on can't he just watch and enjoy the speedway for what it is without the politics. Bet he chucks his pencil case around after Plymouth get a nice little away win when an out of sorts average lowering team full of guests get beat at home. Can't beat a good conspiracy theory
