  1. Mimmo I'm Luke Harrison's dad and have promised him £50 if he achieves a 5 point average could you please add his up wrong and save me the said amount
  2. For me must have a proper number one the last few seasons where we build so we always have a strong reserve hasn't worked as league position shows although still been entertaining. The number one must have an average that can't be overtaken by josh after a couple of bad meetings-josh is a number 5 and very good in that position 1 r worrall 2 fritz 3 Lewis 4 mpg 5 Auty 6 7 Bailey or smith This is in no particular order and would love to see Ryan back but think it maybe time for a new challenge for him also think this team would leave enough under the limit to put fritz at reserve and another 6 pointer in the main body
  3. Yep he will get a new average when the meetings are done. Who's gunna start the 2017 thread then
  4. Watched this last night and thought the boys put on a good show and Corban and Elliot had some good battles
  5. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the 125cc Championships, lets hope we see some of these riders go all the in the future, maybe the BSPA are on the right track with these Championships. Congratulations to Dan Thompson on his win, and to young Luke Harrison who celebrated his two third places as if he'd won the meeting Couldn't believe the size of him, and turns out he's only 9. The chest punching, crowd waving celebrations in the 125's were entertaining Thank you for the kind words about Luke he loves been at Berwick as part of the raiders and the smile on his face after the first point was worth a million pounds
  6. Scunny were good today and with the riding order as it is they will be hard to beat at the ewr Ryan at one josh at five is so much better. A brilliant win and never seen rob so happy
  7. Never seen a rider try as hard as Ben barker tonight for not much reward rode his heart out
  8. Got to say just got in from the meeting and it was very good scorpions coming from behind on many occasions tonight where previously wouldn't of happened. Massive shout to Ryan Douglas tonight big score and allowing big josh through for a full maximum in 15 was brilliant who says there's no team spirit also Alex Davies seemed more like his old self tonight
  9. Outsider I was at Berwick last night was a bit gate and go with only King showing for the witches. Must say though some of the team riding by the bandits when they hit the front was exceptional team spirit in the bandits camp is high and kev Dolan is inspired captain
  10. Don't think scunny could pass up the chance of watt regardless of cost. Got to be a proper number one, home wins ,crowd levels go back up ,cost of rider is balanced out. Would be awesome on the average stated he would fit
  11. Welcome Lewis Kerr . Wonder what would of happened if Taylor Poole had come has a season ever started in so much chaos due to one rider deciding not to ride. Ps this is not a dig at Taylor brave decision to say he wasn't up for it
  12. So as I see it Kerr comes in for lyager leaving us about 1.8 under the limit could then possibly make one more change to give the team the number one it needs don't know who is available on an average slightly higher than 8.
  13. I thought you did an ace job Dan at least you was there for every heat and didn't disappear for doughnuts halfway like you usually do
  14. Outsider I don't believe the team has downed tools (some haven't even picked them up)and agree it's fine margins and don't really like to see gate and go speedway but over the last two meeting we are constantly nowhere near in the first bend thus allowing away pairings to dictate what happens during the race. Yes it's exciting to watch them being hunted down by the scorpions and that's the type of racing I like. For me I take speedway for what it is and result doesn't really matter but for lots of fans they want to see a winning team which we haven't got.
  15. In fairness Lewy after last nights display you could be right wasn't a bad meeting but any team with two riders in third an fourth going into turn one are going to struggle. I had the feeling that we were struggling on track due to the early starts and not having it prepared as well as usually . Last nights display blew that theory out of the water though. Team who are so inconsistent with never more than two riders performing at any time with most constantly under performing. Only riders who can hold their heads high are Douglas and Bailey who are holding up there end of the team. Think there's some tough decisions to be made and glad it's not me making them.
  16. Must say it was the most inept display of refereeing I have ever seen
  17. It's warm and brightening up 10 miles away no rain this morning non forecast
  18. Mr doolan goes well round the EWR think he averages around 6 per meeting is always competitive but never seems to bang in a huge score
  19. Just read this and think I have been given the runaround
  20. I'm not sure on this June when ever the track is hired out its not prepared as it would be for a meeting usually very slick. Think personally that the tigers are a good side with all of them not worried about sticking it in the deep dirt. This comes from skill on the bike and a huge pair of bo##ocks and not necessarily from practicing at the EWR
