  1. That lot will get mullered away and will lose a lot at home not competitive at all no heat leader except Auty and he's proven countless times he's not good at number 1
  2. Don't mind last heat deciders but we have no chance of out scoring against most heat leaders in 13 or 15 . Gong to need to be at least 10 in front after 12 to hope to get anything at most meetings .
  3. That's probably a fair assessment but it is first meeting so won't of had the opportunity to be disappointed
  4. No idea at all past giving a monkeys will turn up have a few beers with the people we stand with . If I'm entertained will go back the following week if not will have to think long and hard about it .
  5. I hope so but can't see bwd fitting even with huge bending of averages without making another change. And in fairness to rob he's said he won't and I do admire his stance on that .
  6. With a number 1 who's better at 5 and 4 second strings and 1 reserve think it could be a long painful season for us if we don't get a genuine heat leader with the average left . I am a believer in as long as I've been entertained the results don't matter but it's hard to see anything but lots of defeats home and away
  7. so who do we really think could be coming in . with no riders fitting the average available think we could be well under the limit. if so would like to see connor mountain given a go.
  8. For me the Njl is a far better format with the 125 then 500 and know with the introduction of 250 makes it a complete package. Give kids an opportunity to join a club and become part of it and see a clear pathway throughout the levels if good enough. the Mdsl with its 500 ruling only gives opportunities to older riders who have come through the other cc classes elsewhere and have reached a sufficient level to be allowed to race with adults. Then it claims to of developed them which is not strictly the truth.
  9. He don't wear shoes just work boots and i do t even clean my car let alone anyone else's
  10. Having spoken to the main man the rider in question will fit into the team as per the rules on the day he is announced. Just hope they don't announce him before they announce the new rules.
  11. Couldn't agree more but can you see Cardiff running as I can't .but let's blame the Bsp it makes for a good story
  12. Thing is it's a training league whether people like it or not and taking time off work for midweek matches is how speedway runs. If it can't be done at NDL level unfortunately you won't manage at championship level either .agreed some will fall by the wayside and others will progress for a multitude of reasons . Those who can fund the development won't leave because of this it will be other influences
  13. Thing is from my experience i dont believe that any of the parents of the up and coming crop of riders who have funded them so far expect for the funding levels to drop just because they are in a paid position. We certainly dont and have had long conversations with others who all believe that funding if development continues will be into the lads early 20s. Personally we have told our pilot that if it isnt covering costs by this time he has to fund it himself or pack it in. Its a development league not fully expensed professional league.
  14. Great signings of two lads with very bright futures
  15. We have one lovely smooth engine delivers the power to the back wheel really well. It's an excellent stepping stone from the 250 as the power is more predictable than the gm. strange how so many were eager to criticise this opportunity when so many think that the iow 2valve challenge was the way forward
  16. Can't see us replacing Theo prior to the season starting unless like the post above states one of the Scottish teams don't run. Personally think he will do,a decent job especially at home
  17. I do like the positive feeling of the last few comments
  18. Kennedy is on a 4 point average for a reason and to bring him in to replace Jake would be folly. We would be woefully weak and the potential to loose every week at home would bring no benefit to the club. having said that I don't have a clue who could replace Jake
  19. Having spent the last 4 or 5 days virtually non stop with little breaks, I’ve now completed the National ‘Development’ League Fixtures. It’s certainly been a challenge this one has, with it going to be a short season and less dates to play with and trying to please every club by spreading out the away fixtures the best I could. I must thank all 8 clubs for their patience, help and understanding. As stressful as it was, it was enjoyable to do and I’m looking forward to working with these 8 clubs during the 2021 season when we get going in May. A couple of nights even involved me staying awake to between 3-4am, checking dates, availability and clashes and I wasn’t even on nights. Just shows the commitment and time I put into this Voluntary job! I’ll be sleeping a lot for the next 3 days, so no more fixture changes yet please!
  20. like the look at that team and personally hope they use a rider with no fixture clashes instead of bailey its not development if using RR or a guest
