  1. Exactly sport needs a more modern out look in all aspects. Speedway star in the last few weeks dedicates a minimum of 10 page each edition to events that happened between 50 and 70 years ago . Surely should be focused on more recent happenings
  2. Can't disagree with that but still been great value at scunny
  3. Personally think it's good for the club and josh to part company for a while . Fantastic around scunny pure entertainment but has become poor away
  4. I responded to the post re Wolverhampton Lack of development which your knowledge of is poor . It's motorsport it is expensive. Unfortunately attendance is poor but at every track we attended last year all seemed as they were if not better than before COVID, some teams will always live beyond there means just like some people live in debt . Can't comment on the committee as it would be speculation, can't think I watched a rider this season who didn't see bothered.
  5. Thing is your lack of knowledge is shown here agreed there is no training school however Wolverhampton constantly run competitive second half's with all British lads riding and give track time at every meeting to the British 250 champion . Unfortunately lots of teams are made up of foreign riders due to the lack of British based riders currently at premier league standard .
  6. I'm the seeker of truth and justice so everything I say is believable. Might not be true though
  7. Personally think it's a decent signing and a good use of the points available as stated earlier. Team in my opinion is built to win at home which it will.
  8. Be the usual suspects who bask in the struggles of the sport whilst doing nothing themselves to help it go forward waiting eagerly to say I told you so
  9. Think Rob has openly said that without all the other stuff that goes on at Scunthorpe speedway would not be viable on its own
  10. Agreed I do wonder though if the returning clubs had any talks with the breakaway club about the potential of a small mini league to form the basis of a league
  11. Can't see that happening. If it's that bad why are both returning clubs looking at running under the Bspl
  12. Personally I don't subscribe to the kids with families bit . Whether it's midweek or not if your going your going always found it a weak excuse. You look at any midweek football crowd and it's full of kids maybe it's just speedway kids who need to be in bed early
  13. Retired and living currently in Finland with his partner and baby son who is called Lion . Can't see him riding again
  14. Agree totally hate it when it happens and it's so obvious
  15. Personally think it's a team built to win at home and to 99% of speedway fans that's all that matters. Not a big tero fan but in fairness he is good around scunny so let's hope his visa issue is sorted if not start with rr get everyone to drop their averages at away meetings and fit josh Auty in
  16. In fairness you see at least one rider per meeting having a tantrum in the pits
  17. https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/20027/scunthorpe-championship-29-05-2021 the same one who scored 0 at Berwick
  18. In fairness fantastic to watch round scunny when in full flight probably stayed to long and stagnated.
