  1. Can't see anything in the post where Mr Godfrey says anything that could make anybody think that.
  2. no thanks mate I am already bitter and twisted without adding that to it
  3. My take on this would be that Luke would have still progressed to the level he has taking 5 rides if teams were six man as he had the abilities. Jacob could well of progressed to a decent standard national league reserve given the chance to take his rides its all subjective though as its opinion based
  4. It's a good idea let's hope that if they run 6 man teams they give all riders 5 rides , no using one reserve 7 times and others only getting 3 rides. It's a development league and you don't develop being pulled out of your heats. there will be doom and gloom posters who think it's rubbish but with a lack of competitive riders at that level 10 plus teams can't run without separating the league. also can't wait for the it should be an upright league brigade to chip in.
  5. We know Luke won't increase his average if he rides at 2 which is not a problem .
  6. With yesterday's announcement regarding more teams looking to join the national league it will be interesting to see what the points limit will be . Also will the upper level championship average be raised as currently will block several riders from competing. Will they stop riders doing all three leagues personally think anyone riding premier league shouldn't be in national league.
  7. No breaks no fear a good listen bit on scunny from about 50 mins
  8. Has to be base on available riders who are willing to travel which seems to be some of the issue in recent years.
  9. Personally think the 125 or 250 classes should be in along with the two 500 riders . It has been done before when there wasn't sufficient riders to fill a category at a meeting .
  10. So if three more teams do come in where are the riders of sufficent level coming from . Will they go with 6 man teams as this would free up 6 riders from this years teams. Will they up the average limit for championship riders allowing them to stay to aid development. Its going to be intresting to see.
  11. Cant see that been carried on next year . Even though my rider has acheived the average he still needs the national league to continue his development. 7 heat leaders gone from 6 teams who will replace them
  12. Looking at the list I would say that's about right for luke based on how we used the league this season. For us it was all about trying different set ups at each meeting using different engines and clutch components to see what worked and didn't. Tyres were always pre used with at least 2 heats on each side . Think the results were worth it based on his championship performances throughout the year.
  13. I thought they also said or a structured second half with races and not riders just doing laps would suffice
  14. they don need to as both teams ran structured 2nd halfs Jason Pipe sorted Lynn and i Think John Carpenter did Ippo
  15. I can confirm that was said but with his average increasing significantly and a potential lowering of team averages it is yet to be confirmed he can be fitted in
  16. The support class is for the newer kids to the group the age and ability in that cc class is wide and varied so having new riders or slower riders in there own groups helps them develop gives them all the chance to progress
  17. teams are on the Sheffield website don't take a genius to look . just because its not on here doesn't mean its unavailable to the general public
  18. Another thread ruined by bickering childishness
