  1. Was done at the request of those stood near you so they couldn't hear your constant whining.
  2. So a rider has a sponsorship with a certain manufacturer and wins it using a different manufacturer's wheel not good for him . What if some riders use conventional tubes and others don't . What if the rider likes his wheel balanced and another doesn't
  3. Think it's a fairly decent price for level some good riders on show .
  4. It was posted on Facebook page 5 days ago gates at 7 track 7.30
  5. Doesn't sound like the Berwick I know and personally don't think any club drags a meeting on to p£ss junior riders dads off
  6. Got to say from our experience with Luke that we were treated extremely well by Berwick no contempt at all. However we did put the hard yards in only missed one meeting during our time with them due to being in Glasgow hospital. We got the fixtures and arranged our schedule around them .
  7. What about Ashton vale similar average to sonny
  8. To explain Luke's national league average and how it is at the 7.7 level. During last season we used every national league meeting trying different stuff with set ups to learn what did and didn't work. It was never about winning it was about learning. We know that the bike used at scunny in the national league (which is not his championship bike) doesn't work at Sheffield. We know the scunny championship bike isn't great at Oxford but the national league bike is way better. The scunny championship bike goes well round Sheffield it was all a set process to help his development which we believe worked out looking back over the season. Even at scunny for national league we used different settings on the bike as both meetings were second half's of double headers and we know now have a good grasp of our equipment and what bikes do on different tracks hope this makes sense Ps his name is Luke not Harrison
  9. Can't say I disagree but the league needs heat leaders and they are of limited numbers . Personally wouldn't say he's to good and do believe the additional meetings will help his progress.
  10. to cut out any speculation on the subject Luke was asked at the last meeting of this season if he wanted to return. We felt that a different track would of benefitted him in his progress with oxford ,Leicester or redcar being the preferred options sadly none could fit him in thus leaving him without a space. This was a family decision and was fully discussed with Simon and Rob at Scunthorpe who were both supportive of the decision.
  11. think you might be surprised by young mitch hes very good
  12. it means any silencer dated pre 2022 cant be used
  13. The question was asked but sadly he can't be fitted in to the team so has no national league place in 2025
  14. Wouldn't know if been made public but been told he's eligible
  15. Luke Harrison is eligible for ndl but currently has no spot
  16. Travel and riding for peanuts is part of it mate . As you know we ride at championship level and money ain't great and have got clubs offering places at the agreed rates for national league which is worse it's not full time for us as it don't pay the lad gets up and goes scaffolding everyday to earn enough to invest in machinery whether that's engines exhaust or limiters. At no point at this stage do we expect to earn enough through racing to cover its cost
  17. So your forward planning give yourself a pat on the back and a cold beer mate 🤣
  18. Agree it's difficult after youth series but then it's real and riders regardless of who they are have to follow the rules. As a sport it can't keep running to the lowest common denominator as that's not how things work . Progress doesn't stop that's why the sport went from two valve to four then laydowns it's all about the edge you can gain
  19. Would say a large percentage of the lads have it on the limit at the start and it's a god thing they are limited those who don't should aspire to as it's part of progression. Riders not wanting to progress is their issue but still need to follow the technical specifications.
